The food was DELICIOUS OMG! The portion sizes were great to share! The jerk chicken was tender and seasoned well. Beans and rice was delicious. Plantains were perfection. Great location in the airport as well. The location is simple too, great to grab a bite and go. The service was ok, not too friendly but hey sometimes it happens! If I'm ever in Miami, I will stop by again and enjoy some yummy food!

Small place outside security. Located near DOOR 10. NOT GATE 10. Not fancy. Small place. We had the Jerked chicken with dirty rice. We both enjoyed the meal. Noticed a large part of their business is airport employee/plane crews. Pretty good sign. Attaching pics of chicken and menu. FYI one serving fed two people. Friendly staff. (Fryer alarm is REALLY loud)

This has been trending in my social feeds so I had to try it before leaving Miami. They opened at 10 AM and we were the first customers to get a late breakfast/early lunch. The line of cooked food looked amazing - stew chicken, oxtails, jambalaya, jerk chicken, rice & beans and more. Fried items are dropped once ordered so they're served fresh. The food is extremely fresh, tasty and the pickling adds some spicy kick to everything. We did order the conch fritters that are cooked to order and served hot. There's 6 per order so they're perfect for sharing. It's a restaurant at Terminal E (before you enter TSA) so it's fairly small but has a few tables. The decor is tropical with lots of videos and photos of the owner, his locations and social stuff they've done. This location has a 4.9 Google rating so they stand by customer service and quality food.

Omg!!! This food was seasoned sooo well. Sad to say best food I had from cruise and it's at the airport!! Well done!!! Right inside of terminal E but worth the trip! Service was fast and helpful. Not alot of sitting but I'd stand and eat this lol...

Jambalaya (Chicken & Sausage) with brown rice and plantain empanadas. Pikliz hot sauce on the side.

Shout out to Ramses and Gary from the airport location. They were very friendly and helped me understand their menu as I'm not super familiar what to pair with this cuisine. The food was amazing and portion size was huge! I got the Jambalaya and it was to die for. This was also my first time trying pikliz and I was blown away. I'll definitely be buying some from their online store soon.

Want delicious food for a reasonable at the airport? This is the spot! Their platters are practically good for two meals, that's how much they serve. They have jerk chicken, griot, rice and peas, patties, stew chicken and a whole lot more to satisfy your taste buds.

Can you think of any other restaurants - especially chain restaurants - that get a mention in a Wale track ("Miami Nights , a duet with Rick Ross")? I stopped at the Miami International Airport location of Chef Creole when I went this past Saturday for my Global Entry interview. They're located in the departure area of the second floor of Concourse E, a short walk from the office I was going to. Their menu is the Haitian version of a lot of Caribbean classic dishes. I enjoyed a plate of red beans and rice (diri Ak pwa), jerk seasoned grilled chicken breast and sweet plantains. A side of spicy pikliz came with my lunch. The jerk chicken had the requisite yummy spiciness, even before adding the pikliz. But then I noticed the rice was also hot! That is because the rice is also seasoned with cayenne pepper and thyme. I wasn't able to get any dessert or the mango smoothie. I'll have to return for that, or try it at any of their other locations. Besides them packing the boxes in case l was flying (Ibiza in a few years perhaps :) they have a few tables in their space with nice murals of Haiti. The server who attended me cafetearía style was really pleasant in explaining the different seasonings. I would very much recommend Chef Creole for tasty & spicy Caribbean food.

Great restaurant just outside of security at MIA airport. The service was friendly and fast. In between flights I was able to grab some jerk chicken with rice and peas. I get it whenever I can and it never disappoints! If you have time, definitely try it out. They do have limited in restaurant seating!

The oxtail and stew chicken dinner was delicious. Ample amount of food, especially the rice.

Chef Creole was a pleasant surprise! I was honestly shocked that this is such an affordable option for real food inside the airport! Prices were very reasonable for piping hot, unprocessed, well-seasoned meats and seafood. The menu is sizable considering the location - chicken, oxtail, fish and shrimp, wings, even conch! The location is small but the space is laid out well. And folks are not afraid to pack in there for this good food. There is a small amount of seating but most of the customers were taking food to go so seating was available. I didn't have a big appetite and actually went in, looking for soup - none on the menu. So I got a side of rice and peas with chicken sauce on top. The rice was cooked to perfection, loose not t all gummy, seasoned perfectly and very moist. The sauce took it up a notch but the pikliz knocked it out of the water! The pikliz was delicious - tangy, crunchy! I don't tolerate spice well; for me, it gave a light tingle to the mouth. But that was it, not too spicy. Chef Creole is doing airport cuisine right! Glad it was located directly across from my airline's check-in on Concourse E, otherwise I would not have known about it. Will keep them in mind should I find myself this way again. And definitely have one of their other locations on the list for when I make it back home.

Haitian restaurant at Miami International Airport. I absolutely loved all the pictures on the wall. I ordered the stew chicken and 2 sides of plantains. My husband got the stew chicken with rice and plantains. If you are really hungry the portion is large. If not you have left overs!!! We also ordered 2 beef patties. The patties were my favorite. The pastry was so soft and crisp.

I mean come on now. All this for 13.00! Where else are you eating like this in a airport. The guy literally put 3-4 pieces of chicken in this container. I end up splitting it with my boyfriend, there was no way I could eat all of this. I know people say that this isn't real Caribbean food but idc, i personally enjoy it every time. Again like I stated before just make sure you have the time to get yourself food prepared. Thanks Chef Creole

My flight departed out of the E Gates so I stopped by "The Chef Creole" for some food before my flight. The service is very friendly and the employees went above and beyond to assist me. I ordered the rice with beans with grilled chicken and plantains, the food was excellent, every bite had lots of flavor and delicious taste. The chicken was tender and savory and the rice was fantastic. So happy to find this Haitian restaurant with great flavors at the Miami airport. I also tried the fish Haitian pattie. I like the taste and soft crust. Not spicy. Love to come back to continue trying their exceptional cuisine!

Easily some of the best airport food I've ever had. Really worth leaving security just to eat here and then going back through security.

We really had never tried Ceviche before, but the online menu really looked spectacular. Our waitress was Angie, and she was fantastic. Such a great personality, and she went out of her way to explain all the details before we ordered. It's actually disappointing that we are just passing through and may never go back, because I would seriously like to try every last item. Rather than bore you with the list of everything we ordered, I'll share what we considered to be the best of the best. CALAMARI... we both love calamari, and we have eaten this dish at many different places. This was the best ever. Perfect. CEVICHE DE SALMON EN CANASTA DE TOSTON... seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth. While we did order both the ceviche camaron and the ceviche trio mixto, the hands-down winner, no questions asked, was the CEVICHE DIVINO. We finished with the TORTA DE CHOCOLATE and the smoothest, creamiest cup of coffee ever. My wife is a chocolate cake expert, and while I was finishing all the ceviche, she was having an out of body experience with the cake. I have to say that while we are borderline foodies and love cooking and eating, we probably are not the most adventurous. So glad today was different, and so thrilled with our decision to eat here. 10/10

Choosing which lobster or yellowtail from the ice counter you want them to prepare, and how you want it prepared, is a fun part of the dining experience for us. Occasionally they have hog snapper or another fresh catch available. The fried lobster tail was fantastically seasoned with a little kick, and I've never had it prepared this way, chopped up into bite-sized pieces. Very filling and we could have shared one, but we still managed to devour both tails and left very full and satisfied. Each tail, including one side, was about $40 - but market price items vary based on size and weight of what's available that day. There are also plenty of less expensive options on the menu. One of my favorites is the yellowtail sandwich. And if you get there before 7:00pm you can order some oysters and lobster croquettes from the happy hour menu. Captain Jim's is a casual and comfortable restaurant with marine decor where the food is the star. Service is always friendly, helpful, and attentive.
