Parrilla marina disappointing Experience My husband ordered the Parrilla Marina, and I ordered the Ají de Gallina. Unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected. The service from our waitress became noticeably unfriendly after our main dishes arrived. The Parrilla Marina was overcooked, and the octopus was extremely tough. I politely mentioned to our waitress that the octopus was very hard, and her response was that it was supposed to be hard. Honestly, that was surprising and disappointing. I've had octopus many times before, and when properly prepared, it should be tender--not extremely difficult to chew. We also ordered a side of huancaína sauce because we wanted to add more flavor to the seafood, but I felt we were overcharged for such a small side. The sides were delicious and paired nicely with the dishes. The tiradito was also great. The octopus wasn't my favorite dish but my girlfriend loved it. The tacu tacu dish was also very good. We finished with the nutella mousse. That dessert was delicious and similar to a nutella cheesecake as the mousse is sitting on a graham cracker crust. It was delicious. Both were very delicious, but I would say that the price of the drink being $10 is overly priced. Price of the bowl should not be $16-$20 as they don't add much tuna to it.
