I'm giving this place an honorary five stars and I genuinely mean that, even though the food was absolutely not for me. Chef Creole is one of those spots where the vibes hit you immediately. The music, the energy, the culture, the warmth. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, patient, and kind. They were happy to explain the menu, made us feel comfortable, and honestly just radiated good energy. You can tell they care about the people who come in and that alone made the experience feel special, especially if you want to experience Haitian culture in Little Haiti. The passion fruit drink was actually really good. Different in a fun way, almost like a tropical Slurpee. They recommended mixing both flavors into one cup and that combo definitely worked. I'd give the drink a solid four out of five and I would absolutely get that again. The atmosphere overall was great, lively but not overwhelming, and it felt authentic and welcoming. Now, respectfully, the food just wasn't my cup of tea. I only tried one plate because I wanted to play it safe, and unfortunately my taste buds just did not align. The flavors were very bold and very different from what I'm used to. This isn't a quality issue at all, it's purely personal preference. I could tell it was a popular dish and something many people genuinely love, which tells me this is more about my palate than the food itself. The plantains and the seasoning on the plate didn't land for me, and for forty dollars I personally wouldn't order it again. That said, I would still recommend coming here if you want to try Haitian food for the first time or if you already love it. The vibes are immaculate, the staff is incredibly kind, and the experience feels authentic and welcoming. Even though I won't personally be back for the food, I'm glad I came, I'm glad I tried it, and I respect the culture and the people behind it. For someone who loves Haitian food, I can easily see this being a huge hit. Honorary five stars for the service, the atmosphere, and the overall experience.

Chef Creole @chefcreolemia Miami, FL Worth every single penny! Fairly quick service in the drive thru. Very relaxed atmosphere with patio seating. I enjoyed the flavor of the Creole shrimp and the rice was very tasty. Also, I'm usually not a fried plantain fan but these were perfect! The biggest Snapper I have ever gotten from any restaurant! And it was so flavorful! The sauce and pikliz sent it over the top! I dont think I'll order fried Snapper from anyone else ever! I can't wait to spin the block and try more from the menu! I have been to this location before and it was absolutely delicious. Just like the first time the rice was a little different but still very good. This is one of many Haitian restaurants in Miami and it is definitely one I visit often. My favorite part is the drive through experience where someone comes right up to your car to take your order which is amazing. I will definitely be coming back because the food was once again absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the griot and the chicken wings.

My experience at Seasoned Creole was definitely one of the best I had during my trip to Miami. Customer service was top tier and everyone was so attentive, they even brought around hand sanitizer to every table. The food tasted extremely fresh and the fish was fried to perfection. They did however give me sweet plantain when I asked for fried. The sweet plantain was delicious, but not what I asked for. While the rice was tasty, I have definitely had better Haitian rice. I also tasted my friend's conch fritters and those were so tender and flavorful. I am typically not a huge fan of conch, but I would definitely have those again.

Decided to visit Chef Creole on 54th street after reading a couple reviews and seeing pictures of the food online. The ambiance is very relaxing and inviting. It's like we're sitting on the beach in Haiti, instead of the middle of town. Our server was Teeday, he did an awesome job with giving us information on each dish and also gave his recommendations. Top notch service from him. Food came out and I almost forgot to take a picture because it looked and smelled soooo good! Teeday also gave us some pikliz to eat with our food. It has a little spicy but compliments the dishes to a T! We will be back to enjoy more delicious Haitian food. Come down and see Teeday at 54th street location!

Full transparency here. On an earlier visit I had an issue with the service and brought it to the owners attention. By my next visit the service turned into top notch. They are very attentive to the guest, food is prepared in less than 15 minutes and it is so delicious. I've never gotten a bad plate. I come every Monday because it's just that good.

Little Haiti is where you must go if you want delicious authentic Haitian food for a great price!! This place was SO good. The fried fish was my favorite because it was well seasoned and tender with no grease!!! The sweet plantains are way better than the regular fried plantains. Pikliz is yum but not spicy. The griot was excellent, tender, and flavorful, but many fatty pieces which I don't prefer. Lastly, the wings. The jerk wings did not taste like jerk but were yum. Lemon pepper wings tasted better. Rice and beans were on point. The portions and price are a great value. The place itself has a little but where you order. They have a round-about driveway with parking alongside. Next to the ordering hut is another hut-like spot with benches to sit and eat. They were friendly and patient. You pick up after yourself once you eat. It was hot out. They do have fans which help but be prepared to wave off flies as you eat. It's expected but can become annoying. Gave a third-world feel which adds to the authenticity if you ask me! Overall, the food was totally worth the trip and we had enough to take on the plane as leftovers. 4 huge portions with drinks for $77. Win! If I make it out to Miami again, I would come here. Next time I was the whole fried fish which looked super tasty!!

It's been a while since I had Haitian food that's *almost* as good as my mom's, and this place is it! Not too bad of a drive from south beach, but there wasn't anything else in the area so we stayed here. Flavors here were truly authentic. Seating is mostly outside, with a more covered indoor that's is considered indoors. There's also a drive through, I've never seen drive through options for any Caribbean style food, so that made me hesitant, but the food still came out fresh and full of flavor. Service was amazing! Our server made us feel welcomed, and was very attentive. I believe his name is Teday.

The meat is greasy and tasted like fried cats and dogs. As for service, the bald headed idiot owner was rude and lacked empathy.

The flavors were really hittin--not salty but definitely not lacking in flavor and complexity. So delicious The only criticism I would have from what I ordered is that the rice was ever so slightly undercooked which made it a bit dry. Other than that, everything was great. There's not really a server--you order and they text you when it's ready. Then you come pick it up and go to your table. But the cashier lady was very nice and helped me decide what to get.

If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral. This Citadel location is the original; it opened in February 2019. The Doral location opened in 2024.
