This is my absolute new favorite Italian place. Went their last night for a quick dinner with my cousin and was NOT expecting it to be *this* good. Firstly, the place feels really cozy! Not to be confused with cramped. It certainly doesn't feel fake like when you're at bucca di beppo or something. The service was also great! The woman who took out order (apologies for forgetting her and husbands name) was very warm, receptive, and eat to talk to. I had the mi terra sandwich. It was like no other sandwich I've ever had which is a first for me because I'm a bit of a sammich snob. My cousin had the pasta which was equally as good as the sandwich. The pasta noodles were clearly fresh, flat handmade, and absolutely excellent--perfect bite and texture. The sauce was super fresh and well balanced, though a little on the sweeter side and not quite as meaty as I personally prefer. Still, the noodles completely carried the dish. The margherita pizza was thin, flavorful, and the cheese was amazing--really high quality and well balanced with the sauce. My only nitpick is that it cooled down a bit fast; I'd love it served just a touch hotter next time. The spot itself is a cozy little hole-in-the-wall, which I love. Just a heads-up when driving: watch the parking so you don't end up half on the sidewalk or miss the entrance (easy to do). Service was friendly but a bit slow--both dishes took about 30 minutes even though there wasn't anyone dining in. That said, I did notice a few walk-in takeout orders, so that likely explains it. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the freshness and quality mostly justify it. Overall: super fresh, very satisfying, and worth a visit. Definitely a neighborhood gem I'd come back to. read more

We stopped for lunch, first time. Just had a great time with Camilo. He explained the menu, and explained that much of the ingredients are directly from Italy. Camilo, was very easy to talk to and we had a great time being there. We found out they have cooperation with the next door bar so we could bring our food there, a big bonus as we like a nice beer. I even found a magnet that was perfect for my kitchen and celebrated a trip last year to Sorrento (near Naples). My wife got a pepperoni pizza - loved it. I liked it but mostly ate and loved the crust she passed to me. Nice taste, texture, cheese, pepperoni. Not to hot, not greasy. I got the prosciutto and burrata sandwich. Since I did not have my lactase pills, Camilo offered to substitute parmesan. It too was Excellent. Bread was excellent, and prosciutto was Not at all stringly and tough....I rarely get that. Next time I will bring the pills and go for the Burrata. In Fact - we plan to return a few times and try to work through the menu. The handmade pasta is really good and the ingredients taste like their from another country, enjoyed the pasta a lot. The tiramisu on the other hand was not good at all. $7 for the mini which is 2 bites, tasted like an old bland cake from a gas station. The owner takes pride in her restaurant and tells her story for everyone to understand and to appreciate the hard work she and her family had to put in to build what she has now. The restaurant itself is very small while the vibe is calming and nice. My party and I were greeted by Daniele Casaletta, who happens to be the owner of La Bella Napoli. She was very nice, professional, and happy to have us dining at her restaurant. I ordered the Spicy Bruschetta and an espresso for a total of $22.00, including a tip I left. The spicy bruschetta contains spicy Calabrian red pepper spread, spicy calabrese, basil, and burrata cheese from Italy; all served on a soft yet crunchy homemade ciabatta bread slice. Balsamic vinegar and olive oil is served on the side with a small portion of arugula salad. The dish itself was astounding, everything was fresh and tasted homemade. Everything was light, yet I felt satisfied without feeling groggy nor an overly full stomach feeling. The burrata cheese was the star of the show as it was soft, creamy, and rich in flavor. However, the spiciness of the dish was a bit too much, even for me and I love spicy foods. The level of spiciness did overpower the flavor of the dish at times, but I still enjoyed it. When ordering the espresso, I was asked if I wanted it when I placed my order or after my meal and of course, I chose after my meal. The espresso was cute and served with a mini spoon and a packet of sugar. I drank it in just one go and it gave me the kick I needed to keep going about my day. The expresso was rich and smooth. The rest of my party ordered the Margherita Pizza, family size. I tried a slice and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had so far. The crust was thin, light, crunchy, and had a nice homemade flavor. The sauce was homemade as well and tasted fresh. And the Mozzarella (from Italy), fresh Basil, and olive oil only made the pizza even better. We did try the Tiramisu and it was a great ending to our experience. The Tiramisu was not overly sweet, creamy, and light. Complimentary water and water cups are provided. Overall, I had a great experience and as an Italian myself; La Bella Napoli is the go-to authentic Italian restaurant if you are in the area and the flavors of Naples truly shine. La Bella is Italian-owned and their execution of Neapolitan-style pie is pretty spot-on with the beautifully thin, pliable crust. We've thoroughly enjoyed the Spicy Calabrese and La Vegetariana. Interestingly, the Margherita's tomato sauce was a bit too acidic so the more generous amount of mozzarrella on the other pies balanced this out better. While the star is their pizza, definitely give their pastas a shot because our Boscaiola's springy texture and rich flavors were derricious. Next time, we'll have to delve further into the menu and jump into the sandwich selection as well. Their pasta here is made fresh and was really impressed with my order of Gnocchi Al Tartufo For $19; I got the most amazing gnocchi via their Gnocchi Al Tartufo which is potato dumplings, mushrooms, feta cheese and speck in black truffle sauce. The flavoring of this dish was amazing. I could taste the black truffle in every bite. Rich and creamy; my tastebuds were definitely delighted. The potato dumplings were perfectly soft and i love how there was a fair share of mushrooms in this dish. It made me want to go to Italy!
