I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted with a smiling bartender (should out to Ms Ryan). Can't say everyone else was as friendly but that's not saying that they were NOT or that they were unpleasant in any way. The place was BUSY! Packed and busy (it was a Friday night) so maybe everyone else was just focused and trying not to bump into others. The menu boasts some really interesting options, it was hard to pick. I didn't want a big entre so I opted for what I thought would be two small starters... boy, was I WRONNNG. I ordered the octopus tentacle- it came served on a butternut squash (?) or root vegetable ragout which was sooooo yummy!! Probably my favorite part of the dish! The tentacle was overdone and therefore hella rubbery. I also ordered the Brussels sprouts which were fried but toted a promising recipe of mixing sweet and savory flavor with its pancetta jam. The décor was... idk how to describe it, maybe eclectic. But it was nice. Spacious indoors. There were families as well as friend groups enjoying themselves so literally there's something on the menu for everyone to enjoy.

The waitress handled herself with such grace and kindness after the man continued to give her a hard time. Later, I listened as he requested for her to ask the manager to take off a percentage for him being he was a veteran. After she walked away, they started laughing and the one guy said, you're too much. It was clear that he wasn't being honest. He certainly wasn't a veteran and sadly the couple we were with has a son serving in the military. Unfortunately, this man took advantage of this opportunity and I was upset to see that someone would lie about serving our country. I did compliment the waitress for handling that table with dignity after being treated so poorly. She did say they honored a 10% off discount for him and it wasn't warranted because he lied. Kudos to your wait staff for dealing with rude customers and liars.

But…read moreeven though I made my reservation at least 2 MONTHS in advance for our anniversary dinner we were refused to be seated as was the couple in front of us. Apparently there was a "problem in the kitchen" & the people sitting at their tables apparently had been "sitting there for an hour" according to the hostess?--not sure what that was supposed to mean? Ambiance--ALL tables are outside and a thunderstorm was expected so I feel like maybe it was a blessing in disguise & we dodged a bullet. There was no seating inside . They're supposed to have great views of the sunset but we wouldn't know bc again--our reservation didn't mean we could get a table. Now I can understand an issue in the kitchen and you can't seat ppl, but I received a text 30 minutes prior to my reservation (booked on Resy) that I was expected at the restaurant in 30 minutes. WHY in the world could the restaurant not text me before I drove over the bridge and out of my way that they could not serve us? Because of this it shows poor management, lack of regard for other ppl & horrible customer service and I would never recommend them or ever go back. I'd rather pack a picnic and watch the sunset from the park in front of the restaurant.
