Just a note for anyone not familiar with BYOB restaurants in New Jersey: if they don't have a liquor license, the servers can't pour your wine. I don't mind pouring my own, so it wasn't an issue. One of the standout dishes was the breaded pork chop stuffed with prosciutto and cheese, served with a cognac mushroom sauce. My spouse gave me a bite, and it was one of the best I've had this summer. The pork was juicy with just a little pink, and the combination of flavors worked really well. I'm still thinking about it.
