I throughly enjoyed our food here. We sat on their outdoor patio which comes with a view of the iconic Ferris wheel. We got there and waited 20 minutes before anyone even addressed us and brought us a cup of water. They were out of a lot of items on the menu. We ordered our appetizers and dinner. We received a couple appetizers and we received our dinner shorty after when we were almost eating our dinner and We received our third appetizer not sure why they would bring it when dinner was over. We asked to wrap up the food and they never brought it back out and we didn't even think twice about it at this point. They never even asked us if we wanted a dessert. I have crab legs my wife has beef tips and we had the burrata salad mix and basically was all good. Ive noticed a lot of people come here. This place brought back such memories 50 years ago was the last time i was here with my parents i had the salisbury steak my dad had t bone and my mom too. Yes i have such a great memory when it comes to beautiful times with people i love the most. New owners new restaurants new menu. I did relive my memeries But overall the food is good And the service is excellent Nicolette our waitress was such a lovely wonderful young lady who made our dining experience really delightful and we will definitely return. Probably the best restaurant I went to in Seaside Heights (and overall one of the better restaurants on the boardwalk). Lobster Lounge is a bi-level seafood restaurant with the top level overlooking the water. We ordered oysters, coconut shrimp, and a giant pretzel to start and I ordered a cold lobster roll. Pretty decent food - I think the apps were the star of the show here. Our waitress, I forgot her name, was super sweet and accommodating. They have high chairs for children and stickers were given to the kids at my table. Would recommend if you're visiting the Jersey Shore! read more

We arrived very excited to try out the food. The menu looked amazing. We get there and waited 25 minutes just to order a drink. We ordered and one of us got our drinks then the other drink never came. I had to go up to the bar after our waitress said she was checking on our drink and she never did. She kept going elsewhere. I go up to the bar and ask for the drink. He had no idea we were waiting and then he also said they lost a ticket. I had to watch him check personal text messages, he asked if the drink was on the menu and then made it by looking at what was in it on the menu. We then told our waitress and she blamed the bartender saying he claimed he'd have it ready and never did. We were first offered two free desserts then she dropped it down to one. After that we got some appetizers. The Drunken Clams came which were supposed to come with a broth and a baguette. We received neither. We brought it up to the manager and she brought back a lot of bread and some broth. We went to try the clams and they were cold and the broth was just white wine. At that point we were pretty fed up. I went to tell the waitress we were leaving. We received no apology and she just said okay. She said she'd bring the bill and when she came back over every menu item even the ones we didn't receive from the restaurant that we were waiting for totaling $170. I brought the receipt to the manager and she voided the whole bill. She was very nice but the whole experience was unacceptable. We ended up grabbing pizza on the boardwalk and it was actually amazing. read more

We went to lobster lounge for dinner. We started off with a glass of Josh sea swept wine and a hazy ipa. The hazy ipa came in a can both times it was delivered. This should have came with a cold glass. The Josh glass of wine tasted like nothing, I get this wine all the time so I was disappointed. For appetizer we got the oysters Rockefeller which was dry and flavorless. It tasted like a salty shell with dried spinach and breadcrumb. We also got the lobster bisque that had little to no lobster inside of it.. which is whole point of the soup. For entree we got the lobster mac and cheese which was 40$. This dish is served in a cast iron pan that should be baked. When we put the spoon into it was all separated and watery. This was not cooked correctly and did not have any type of creamy consistency. The lobster pieces were very flavorful. We also ordered a lobster roll which was very good. The roll was buttery and crunchy and the lobster was perfect. The French Fries were battered and crunchy also very good. The place was pretty empty but it was a quiet dinner for a Saturday evening. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and bright. You have a view of the boardwalk which is nice. The service was good she was very attentive and understanding when we explained the issue with the lobster Mac and cheese. read more

This place is truly a Hidden Gem. My 5-start review is based on what other offerings we have in a 30-mile radius. (I call "Toms Rive/Seaside a "Culinary Wasteland" because aside from Berkley Cut and Rue 571 we have no decent restaurants in our area.) So, based on that scale, this place is a 4 1/2. Sure, we have places with good burgers, tacos, and fried bar food, if that's your thing... 'nuf said. Without having to travel to AC, Red Bank, or Asbury Park this restaurant is the next best place for dates, craft cocktails, a seriously good filet, and fresh perfectly cooked seafood. The chef knows how to cook! The meat and seafood were cooked to perfection (true Medium rare and seafood that's not desiccated and over-cooked.) The food is nicely seasoned and not conformist to the seniors+ population that "can't have any salt or any meal that remotely has seasonings or flavor" like every other restaurant in the area. I didn't even need to ask for salt & pepper shakers (boggles). The atmosphere is neat and coastal and it's right at the end of Casino Pier (in the old Aztec Lounge) with the pretty lights of all the rides. Hence, super cool date place. Also, parking is super easy off season. PLEASE GO! Let's keep this place open through the winter because as much as I love Berkley Cut and Rue 561, I really want another option for going out. The prices are about half of those, and while the food is not the same, it's seriously damned good and infinitely better than any other place else in the area. read more

Other than being served our appetizers but not given small dishes to be able to eat the food properly and having to ask for them, everything was amazing. The food was served beautifully and cooked to perfection. What a great find right here on Seaside boardwalk. I'm going to start off by saying that the food was really good. Other than that I was extremely disappointed. Let's see, we asked to be sat on the patio and they put us at a dirty, wobbly table. With a Quick Look around you can clearly see How dilapidated it is. Chairs with literally big holes in the seats just placed at tables like somehow they didn't even notice. I'm not exaggerating they were actually really big holes as in no one could Possibly sit on it. They were supposed to bring out my two year olds food with the appetizers and that didn't happen. They brought him a plastic cup of water without even asking what he'd like to drink. I had to get up and go ask someone for silverware/knapkins and then had to go get salt and pepper as well. They never gave us water which was on every other table. They brought my husband raw clams instead of the steamers he ordered. They brought my son's pasta without asking if he'd like parmesan which he wouldn't eat without it and we had to ask for it. They also gave us our bill without asking about dessert. So let's just say the service actually sucked. The hostess didn't do her job, the food runner didn't do his job, our server didn't do his job and for sure the owner of this establishment is not doing their job either with the state of this rooftop patio, so this was a real group effort. I'm just going to add that I have over twenty years in restaurant experience and restaurant management. From dishwashed to line cook, to Manager I have literally done it all. I know what it takes to run a successful restaurant. You've got to be pretty darn bad for me to not leave at least a 20% tip but this sub par level of customer service was actually embarrassing. I don't understand the good reviews. This was a memorable dining experience but not in a good way. Okay, the steamed clams were good. That's as far as it went. I was warned by a disappointed patron that the lobster roll was puny. But I did not heed the warning. It was about 4 inches long and the bread was falling apart. It came with a vegetable and baked potato. The vegetable choice was only broccoli. And the potato did not arrive with my meal. When it was brought to me it was barely cooked and not hot enough to melt the butter. My husband ordered clams buccatini. Described as whole and chopped clams in a garlic butter. The clams were still in the shells and covered with a thick flavorless sauce. No one wants to pick clams out of a shell when they're dripping in sauce. The pasta, he said, had a weird taste. He ordered a cocktail and 15 minutes went by before the manager or owner came over and asked how our dinner was. He responded that she'd be sorry she asked. He then went on to describe the issues either his meal and then mentioned that he was still waiting for the cocktail that he ordered 15 minutes ago. She said she'd comp his drink and walked away. We still waited a while for the drink. She did also give us complimentary lemonade. During our visit, 2 other tables had issues and we also watched a waiter go to every table trying to figure out who ordered a salad. We never did see anyone claim it! We waited what seemed like an eternity for our check. This was a Friday at peak dinner time and there were only a handful of tables occupied. I guess I know why. read more

The worst food we've had on our visit all week. A majority of the food, most disappointingly the lobster, was reheated. The 'Alaskan Snow Crab' was smaller and less flavorful than crab legs at the chinese buffet. The restaurant hangs its astronomical price point on location and serving seafood as a badge of distinction, but can't even afford a good AC/HVAC System. ​When we were asked how everything was and let them know it was underwhelming by a massive degree, they shrugged, said "oh yeah" and comped the cheapest thing we ordered for less than 3% off. weird disorganized way to run a business. Closed monday-Thursday, which is fine, but a bit odd considering thursdays are busy for a restaurant. We checked back friday at about 9:05 and they said they closed the kitchen at 9, which is fine, our fault for not checking but again still a bit odd for a place in such a high traffic destination to close early. So, we did check the website for times because we love seafood and were really looking foward to some nice lobster. The website said that not only were they open until 9 on sundays, but it said quote, "We're now open, sunday hours 1-9 PM." We got there at 7:59, a whole hour before close and the restaurant was completely empty. Apparently they close at 8 on sundays. It's a cute space in a nice spot, but again unprofessional to have the completely wrong times on the business website. We're unfortunately leaving tomorrow so we never got to get our seafood, thanks lobster lounge :( read more
