Today is their fish fry and I'm thinking of trying it. Looked up reviews and saw someone raving about it. The bartender, Patrick, came over and offered me something to drink while I waited and seamlessly worked the tables of the many golfers. Mercedes, the hostess was smiling away when I called her over to ask how the fish fry worked. Very nice gal. Three pieces of cod with fries and slaw or one piece of Walleye with rice and vegetables ($1 more for the Walleye I'm excited to try it. So we tried both fish types and really enjoyed them. We substituted (for an up charge), salad instead of fries. We both preferred the Walleye but both are with the same batter. I'd never had Walleye before. It had a nice buttery taste and good texture. We are excited to have our friends go with us another Friday as they love a good fish and chips and turns out walleye is my girlfriend's favorite having come from Michigan.

Loved our AYCE fish fry. The fish was flaky and well seasoned and crispy on the outside. The pieces were huge( photo). The slaw was great. The fries were amazing. Every plate that came was fresh and hot. Loved it. Every table had malt vinegar, ketchup and a & p. Our waitress Eileen was fun. She was spunky, happy and was very attentive. Checked in on my Gavone ass every few minutes to constantly bring out the delectable fish. The cheeseburger looked great. They also do a Sunday AYCE breakfast with the works. It came to $21.62 including tax per person for the AVCE fish fry and a soda. Fantastic price for this value and quality and yes the stellar service. I thought I misheard her and asked another in our party did she really just say its your fault? In customer service for over 30 years I never ever had said something so rude. It's common knowledge that the customer is always right. How is this rude person a manager. " karla was her name" She should never be in customer service.
