I just wanted to say how disappointed I was in the breakfast I ordered today, March 29, 2026. Both my husband and I ordered your Eggs Benedict, our second visit there. The first time was ok, we really had no problems, and thought we would give your restaurant another visit. We received our food after some time, but you were busy, so we had no problem waiting. Our plates arrived. My husband's plate was perfect, no problem. But as I cut into my eggs, they were cooked to hard boiled stage. So I waved down who I assumed was the manager or owner. Explained what the problem was, without even an apology, the plate was taken away. (#1)The server brought back my plate, (#2)with new eggs, however it was on the same plate with a partial eaten muffin on the bottom with not much hollandaise sauce on it! I asked her to please bring me a new fresh plate. After a little time, I was brought a new plate, again(#3). When I cut in once again, the egg had no yolk! Possibly broken somehow, I have no idea, but that was just unacceptable. That was so unacceptable that I had by this time lost my appetite and my patience. I asked for my breakfast be taken off the bill, which she obliged. And yes, she apologized. But I left there with no breakfast, on a Sunday, and quite upset. This will be our last time we visit your restaurant. Too bad, because we enjoyed our first visit, and only being here, SCW, for a couple of months, I thought we had found our go to place for breakfast. The hunt is on. We were visiting family in the area and they recommended we have dinner here one night. It was easy to snag a table for 4 at 7:00pm on a Thursday. The service was excellent. Our order was taken right away and each food item came out quickly. The prices are totally affordable for dinner- I noticed some of their cocktails are only $5. We sat outside on their dog-friendly patio. The patio had misters that kept the area very comfortable while we looked out on a beautiful green lawn and fountain. They have a variety of salads to choose from and the ones we tried were all delicious. Service was a bit slow but the waiter was apologetic and friendly. I have to be upfront you walk in and they have a sign that says they're going to charge you a fee for using a credit or a debit card. Is it legal to surcharge debit cards? If credit card surcharging is illegal in your state, you may now find yourself asking what the debit card surcharge laws by state are. Under the Durbin Amendment of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, surcharges on debit cards are prohibited in the U.S. So, I asked to speak with a Manager the person never showed and then told that the owner would be in 2 hours later. I had cash and was going to stay, but the more I thought about it, I don't want to support a business that has that kind of policy. The unfortunate thing is menu prices take in the use of cards and their fees. Then a handful of restaurants are surcharging that because you use your card and encourage the use of cash! That's the consumer that loses because they pay full price. Remember when you use to get a discount for cash? They don't offer you a discount for paying in cash! And, remember I said menu prices are figured for the use of a CREDIT CARD and there are laws that limit the amount that can be surcharged. I have to give a star so I can give a review if possible I'd just wrote a review without one since we left after a manager owner didn't make themselves available. read more

From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed. Our service was great and our server (Zachary) was top notch. We started off with a couple of drinks. My wife had a glass of wine and I had an old fashioned. The wine was great, the old fashionable was a little weak but still acceptable. We ordered sweet heat of Italy. The dish had Italian sausage, peppers, pasta sauce, and penne pasta. The dish was hot, flavorful and plenty of it. We thank Tivoli's and their staff we will be back. Yum! There are so many pretend to be Italian places out there that one has the right to be suspicious on the first visit Food: I had the Ceasar Salad. The greens were fresh and chopped to the perfect length. The dressing was light and tasteful. I added the chicken OMG. The chicken was cut in stripes and was very tender as well as perfectly seasoned We shared the lasagna. The serving was large! I am a stickler for thick well seasoned marinara sauce. I was not disappointed. The pasta was perfectly cooked. The mix of cheeses was a fresh divergence from most lasagna that I have taste recently. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive without being obtrusive. Our food was served very quickly and at the correct temperature. The presentation was excellent. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The seating was not crowded. It is not a fancy place, but who cares when the food is this good. Now to the wine. If there is a down side to this wonderful place it is the wine. There was not much of a selection and is was listed in only generic terms on the menu. The was not terrible, but compared to the food it was a disservice to the quality of the food. The pricing was certainly affordable for most budgets. Their muffins are delightful, and the Belgian waffles with fruit and whipped cream are absolutely fantastic. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hands-down, Tivoli's is one of my favorite holiday destination restaurants, especially around Thanksgiving. We heard good things about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We started off by ordering drinks. Hubby ordered a Bloody Mary and I ordered a $9 mojito. I don't know if they have a real bartender or not, but the mojito wasn't made correctly. This was by far the absolute worst mojito I've ever had in my life!!! In all honesty, it tastes like dirty dish water with mint leaves! Not even sure if there was alcohol in it. Hubby's Bloody Mary wasn't great, but it was "okay" compared to mine. I ordered the Tuscan pasta and hubby ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. It was like eating Italian low budget fast food. Hardly even ate anything. The bread and ceasar salad was flavorful and actually the best part of the meal. Service was good. Very nice woman took care of us while the rest of the staff stood around with blank faces staring at the walls. 2-star rating for service, but realistically the rating is more like 1.5 stars. Came for Sunday brunch and for a small celebration - Elvis was turning 10 weeks old and we had to celebrate! Everyone was wonderful to the wet nose and the dry noses. We went to the patron enjoyed the shade, misters and fans. Elvis enjoyed ice water, bobbing for ice cubes and naps on the patio in between strolls in the grass and shade. We arrived after the lunch crowd and were seated within minutes of entering the restaurant. We were greeted by our server who was quick to bring us our beverages, including the pictured bloody Mary. The only issue we had the entire time was when the couple sat in the booth behind us, I felt like I might be going for a bit of a roller coaster ride as she was pushing against the back of the booth, which was also against my back. Now the important part: The staff all were pleasant and helpful. The open face pot roast sandwich served on marble rye (with scratch mashed potatoes and gravy) was extremely good as well as the fried cod. The french fries and coleslaw were just as good and all appeared to be made from scratch. We will definitely be back in the future! read more

Wife chose the hamburger omelette mostly because she had never seen one on a menu before. I went to my go to any time I have breakfast somewhere new, biscuits n gravy, over easy eggs on top, side of sausage. In all the BnG I've eaten over time, this ranked well. All that being said, what gets this place to 5 stars is the service! Everyone is friendly, fun, helpful, and attentive. And they seem to want to be there which is a plus. I'm a little older and I'm not looking for trendy or fashionable in a breakfast place. This friendly mom and pop restaurant really fits the bill. Tivoli Gardens has nice acoustics so you can have a conversation as you dine. The place is huge and well staffed so you get seated and served in a timely fashion. The service is fantastic the waitstaff orders and brings your food so there's no confusion over who ordered what. The coffee is included in the reasonably priced breakfast and they leave the pot. My over easy eggs were actually cooked over easy. I keep coming back to this place. It is my go to when we have company. Tivoli's was the best family experience! We came on Christmas Eve and our server, Robert, was an entertainer and he made the restaurant become a wonderful experience! All of the food is homemade and there are bigger portions so we were able to have leftovers for the next day. The food is homemade so it might be a little bit of a wait but it is worth it! The ambiance was great for a family and the music was low enough to hear each other but still loud enough to enjoy. You are also able to make reservations in advance and you can request a certain server. If you are ever in small town, Surprise, AZ come to Tivoli Gardens and ask for Robert. My waitress was very nice & checked on us often despite having a large part my nearby & several other tables. They have a beautiful patio overlooking fountains & a man made lake. A gorgeous backdrop for weddings or events. Prime real estate for sure. I never ate outside but would in cooler weather. I'd come back again. Long time ago I went on a Saturday night & they had live music too. Was pretty crowded with seniors & visitors.. always a good sign.
