Great service and delicious food! Got a great behind the scenes experience with Tony. I had the mac n cheese, garlic bread, and chicken picatta, all of them were really good and homemade. Looking forward to going again.

Chef Tony Macaroni is back in action and serving up his amazing food!!! Amazing new spot, same great menu, and certainly a must try! His homemade cheese medallions and The GodFather Panino were amazing. Fresh ingredients, quality products and SOOOO much food. You're missing out if you haven't eaten here.

I decided they today was an excellent day to take a ride down to Gunn highway and see Chef Tony's new place. I started with some fried ravioli, which was top notch. Buttery, oozy cheese, fresh and delicious. The sausage, peppers and onion sandwich is also amazing. Honestly you can't get this sandwich anywhere else in Tampa, it's definitely the most authentic style I've had. The side salad --- dear lord almighty! His croutons are the best period. Ingredients are fresh. You can t go wrong with the food here at all. They are working on moving into a permanent building by this summer, and I hope that goes well for Tony and his staff!

My hairstylist tipped me into searching for 'chef owned restaurants' in search of higher quality menu items. Located right behind Lowry park zoo inside an American legion it was easy to miss. As you enter there is a small opening to order / pickup and what looks to be an outdoor dining area . When asked over the phone when the order would be ready her response was 'i don't know it's being cooked now' I like to be organized with my sons after school and sports schedule so that threw me off a bit . We had the chicken parmigiana 3/5 ,meatball with spaghetti (4/5) I would ask for light sauce as it's very heavy and felt more soup based . Mussels 5/5 cooked to perfection and sauce was light yet flavorful . Chicken wings were nicely seasoned however still raw in the middle . A burger which I figured how can you go wrong with a burger . My son stated it tasted like cardboard in addition to being still raw as well . Overall I really liked the flavors but combined with the customer service experience and uncooked food i probably won't be coming back for safety reasons.

I have seen so much hype around Chef Tony Macaroni, I knew I needed to take my husband with me to finally try it! My fellow Instagram foodies- fourfoodfreaks, getinmybellytampa and feedingtampabaes were not wrong on this recommendation! An absolute gem of a top tier culinary spot hidden in the Seminole Heights American Legion! Savory Italian dishes just like nonna used to make right here friends! We started with the fried raviolis, served with Chef Tony's tangy pomodoro sauce and the cheesy garlic bread topped with his hand pulled fresh mozzarella- yes I said fresh made mozzarella!!! That being said, I really needed more of the housemade mozz so I ordered the chicken parmigiana with fettuccine- absolutely divine! Mr. Lombardo (see how I planted the fact we actually know what good Italian food should taste like!) had the macaroni bolognese and lapped it up!! He was a good husband and gave me several roasted garlic cloves he found in his sauce- he knows garlic is my favorite vegetable! It was sweet, buttery and melted in my mouth! I tried his dish and he tried mine and came to the conclusion this was the best Italian food we've had all year ;) Seriously, it was the best we've had in a LONG time! We finished our Italian feast with the cannolis- mama Mia- spectacular! I was a bit leary when I saw it tucked in the American Legion but it was honestly super fun and friendly in there! Great music, cheap drinks, casino games and pool!! TampaFoodMom will definitely be back!

A true hidden Gem! Located inside the American Legion building that is open to the public! (Closed Sunday and Monday) Plentiful parking available. You can dine in, order delivery or to-go. Portion sizes are huge! Love the sliced HOMEMADE mozzarella salad as an appetizer and the fried cheese medallions (perfect cheese pulls!) The menu has a variety of options-sandwiches, burgers, salads, heroes, and a wide selection of macaroni (pasta) such as seafood, chicken and meat. My favorites were the penne alla vodka and the chicken parmigiana. Don't forget to save room for the cannolis for dessert!

My favorite Italian in town, it's literally so affordable and the portions are insane. Tabitha and Chef Tony are so kind and caring, you can really tell they have such a passion for food.

tl;dr: Fresh, comforting, delightful Italian food at an affordable price in Seminole Heights! Go with Chef Tony Macaroni the next time you want Italian. Chef Tony, you are the homie. You ever just have a bite of food that just make you close your eyes and smile? That's how I felt when I bit into their meatball parmigiana sandwich. Oh. I had a moment there. Reminiscing about good food will do that to you. It's a lazy Friday, and nobody in the house is not wanting to cook dinner tonight. Time to use our good friend Uber Eats and find something new in the area. It was a good night for Italian, and after seeing Chef Tony Macaroni being recommended, I decided to do my research on his Instagram page. The food looked amazing! We went with some things that we can sample and still have for leftovers. We went with the aforementioned meatball parmigiana sandwich, Mediterranean mussels in béchamel sauce, and the sausage, pepper and onion sandwich. The meatball sandwich has a sweet, smooth and slightly tangy pomodoro sauce that was the perfect partner for the delectable meatballs. Apparently, the mozzarella on top of the sandwich was homemade. It's might sound odd to describe a sandwich as comforting, but that's the best way to describe this sandwich. Now the sausage, pepper, and onion sandwich had a different effect, more like, "That's a big boy!" It's a meaty sandwich loaded with lots of sweet peppers and onion. It's everything you could ask for in an Italian sausage! I can't pick a winner between the two! You can get either half or a whole sandwich. I went with the whole sandwiches, and they are HUGE! Lots of meaty goodness! Now, I'm not a mussels eater (that is for my fiancee). However, the aroma of the garlic bread that was included with the Mediterranean mussels tickled my nostrils. I had to have a bite. The bread is not your usual garlic bread. You can see the pieces of garlic on the bread! Tony, you're the man! The bread was buttery, garlicky... I dipped it into the béchamel sauce that housed the mussels.. REE-DICULOUS! That garlic bread was the perfect boat for the sauce. If that's any indication, then I imagine those mussels are going to be amazing just based on the sauce they are in. The prices are not that bad at all, and you're getting fresh, homemade Italian food. If you dare go to a Carrabba's, Macaroni Grill, or..... Olive Garden, I will find you and drag you to Chef Tony! Your taste buds will thank you for it! FIVE OUT OF FIVE!

Ordered the chicken parm and the eggplant parm. The sauce was sickly sweet, and ruined both dishes. Very unfortunate.

I want to say we arrived about 930, and found out that we were the last table they were going to accept. So make sure you double check what time they will take walk-ins for dessert. I feel like everyone knows this, but just in case the dessert room is all upstairs and each table is in its own private little room. We were right next to the piano player so we got to hear his playing. Otherwise, if you're a little farther away, then you can choose music in your room, but for us, his piano playing would've definitely drowned out. His piano playing was beautiful though, so I'm not complaining. You can pick up a phone and request songs, which we did. For dessert we got the peanut butter truffle and the vintage lush chocolate sundae. We switched out the ice cream in the sundae for the macadamia ice cream. Everything was super rich and delicious. You need to have a major sweet tooth to eat here, because the desserts were punch you in the face sweet. It is Valet only in Valet is eight dollars. They do let you tip with card, which is nice. Service here is fantastic and everyone is dressed to impressed. This is old school Tampa. So don't expect any modern decor. It's all dark woods and velvet feeling. This is definitely an experience that I think everybody would love.

Every detail was thoughtfully curated. Perfection plus! I can't wait to come back.

My personal favourite was the Raspberry Fizz bottle candies, which I believe are from Sweden. They were absolutely delicious and easily the standout candy from our haul. While we focused on the imported candy this visit, the ice cream, chocolate, and other desserts all looked incredible as well. Everything in the display cases looked tempting, so we'll definitely have to come back and try some of those next time.
