Worth the trek to this off the beaten trek restaurant. The seared bread complimentary with olive oil and herbs, the creamy from the beans pasta fagioli soup, the daily special: linguine with a generous amount of fresh hand peeled lump flower crab, so delicately sauced!!!! I licked every drop of soup and sauce. No conozco! Get your own bowls. I am not sharing. The limoncello layered cake was light and tangy. It was a perfect way to pucker close this perfect meal. Magnifico! Bravo Chef Eduardo who trained in Atlanta before starting this restaurant. I was so happy to meet new friends from Guatemala.

Went here yesterday for the first time. It was great. Cute place with a homey vibe. Food was okay. I had the white bean soup and a seasonal salad with chicken. The food was only okay, but the overall experience was on target. Will try again when I am ready to eat pasta!

My experience here was very disappointing. I understand that when you order for Pick Up, sometimes things don't taste the same as eating in a restaurant, but that was not the issue the appetizer were not edible. I have tasted frozen meatballs that taste better than this. They have also gone up in price and I understand but $10 for little meatballs cut in half is not acceptable and my appetizer which was a bruschetta I had to make it at home myself. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

Great ambiance, food and service! The soup was very rich and flavorful, with an assortment of veggies like carrots, celery, and had a thick broth. Caprese salad was the perfect starter and they brought out bread and olive oil to our request. Entrees were perfectly seasoned both the chicken Marsala and the chicken parm. We ordered the crème bru le for dessert which was coffee flavored and perfect end to our meal

Good environment. Staff are very friendly. Bread with butter was delicious. Meatball was ok. Sangria is delicious, with a touch of cinnamon. Spinach ravioli was very good. Fettuccini Alfredo also very good They gave us this dessert to try.

I visited Amaretto Ristorante on a Thursday evening. My husband and I were the only guests the entire time we were there. It was really strange. I give the food 5 stars but the ambiance and decor 1 star. I had a really hard time rating this place because the food was really great, the staff was enthusiastic and attentive but the inside is really drab. We ordered the lobster ravioli and the Sacchettini which I had never had before. It's made with cheese and pear. The sweetest of the pear is delightful with the cheese. Dishes are priced well in the $15-20 range so you get a lot of quality and flavor for your money. You just don't get ambiance.

Amaretto Ristorante in Tampa is a hidden gem! The flavors are amazing, and the staff is incredibly nice. We're thrilled to have stumbled upon this place and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

The lunch portion of Caprese Salad was just perfect! The tomatoes and mozzarella cheese were cool and room temperature. I loved that they had the basil diced up as well. Not a lot of balsamic vinegar, it was just right. They brought freshly toasted bread to the table with real butter! Yummm I had linguine primavera but instead of linguine noodles, I had mine with bow tie pasta. The veggies were cooked well. It has peas, carrots , zucchini, and Broccoli in extra virgin olive oil. It was wonderful! Hubby has linguine scampi with oil & garlic (no red sauce) The shrimp was cooked well and he loved the noodles cooked well. We had a great server who provided great table service. The ambiance was quiet with wonderful background music that just set the tone for a relaxing lunch!

Sacchettini pasta with pear and gorgonzola sauce

Sacchettini pasta. The food was ok, but it was small and didn't have much pear. Ok service. I have made dry pasta with blue cheese and pear bigger that was significantly better in flavor, with much more pear, had larger portions and cost less. Usually enough for lunch and dinner. This was with Trader Joe's ingredients.

This might be my new favorite local Italian restaurant. It is the definition of a hole in the wall; do not let the facade discourage you. The inside is a bit outdated but what is lacking in decor is made up for in the quality of the food, which is what truly matters. The service was friendly and transparent. We walked in on a Friday night with no reservation and were sat and greeted in a timely fashion. Our server kindly advised us that a large holiday party would be ordering soon so that we could put our order in first and not have to wait for all of their food to be done. We shared the tomato bruschetta, fried calamari (a special that evening), fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and farfalle principesa. All of the food was delicious and the portions were perfect for us. This was one of those meals where immediately after eating you feel satiated and ready for a nap, so plan accordingly. Our food cost right around $50 which was surprising considering the quality and the cost of similar dishes at other local restaurants. I will definitely be back and may also order delivery since they are on UberEats.

Review # 2700, this review milestone go to Local Italian Restaurant to recognize their new efforts during pandemic. The restaurant take over previous Italian restaurant which has been here for some time. The new owner creates the attractive menu. What you need to ask is their special. They do have separate chef special seafood items of the night other than the menu. I also like the bigger dining room with compare to old restaurants. The ventilation also improved from old setup. We start the night with the fried calamari. The coating has a special flavor with seasoning. The dipping marinara sauce is fresh and different. I love it. Ingredients must be good condition to have the good sauce. My wife have the chicken parmigiana with spaghettini with pink sauce. The chicken is breaded with marinated coating. It was crispy and tasty with cheese and marinara sauce. The pink sauce also interesting. My dish is a signature of the restaurant. I have the sacchettini with added grilled shrimp. This is the first time I try sacchettini. It is dumping stuff with pear and mozzarella. Then it cook in Gorgonzola Sauce. It is heavenly good. Highly recommend this dish if you have never have this Italian dish before. Overall the service and food is good. A VERY excellent Italian Restaurant. Please ask if you can bring your own wine.

Great place for some amazing Italian-! We dined on minestrone soup, bruschetta, spaghetti and meatballs, spinach ravioli. All were notable- delicious, flavorful and made you wish to order half of the menu to sample because it all was so so good & from scratch. One side of the restaurant is for dining, complete with sanitizer on your table and Buffalo paid tablecloths, Italian music piped in. Perfect ambiance and cuisine for a chilly Tampa night! I can't wait to go back- or takeout! Highly recommend.

Food was not good. They just reheated premade dishes as our food arrived 5 minutes after we ordered.

So delicious The one thing unique about this place is they tell you, order any classic Italian dishes and they can make it. I asked for chicken cacciatore, and was told, "sorry we can't make that". Very disappointing. I had to settle for chicken parmigiana. All of our dishes were delicious but still disappointed.

The food is homemade, authentic, and the prices are very reasonable given the quality. We started with the calamari salad 5/5 which is non breaded calamari , cucumbers , red pepper with lemon and olive oil. It was enough for 2 to share and was light and fresh . The eggplant Parmesan 4/5 was rich and comforting, not too heavy on sauce and cheese which I prefer. The beef lasagna with pink sauce 5/5 was so perfectly tender , hearty, cheesy, and clearly made from scratch ...one of those simple but perfect dishes! The chicken Marsala 5/5 came with pasta and broccoli ...super tender and paired beautifully with its mushroom Marsala wine sauce. We ended the meal with the tiramisu 5/5 , perfectly creamy, light, and not overly sweet. The espresso flavor really came through, making it one of the best I've ever had. A few things to know: the restaurant is very small with limited seating, and they don't take reservations. They also don't allow kids, so the atmosphere stays quiet and intimate. they're only open for dinner and take out seemed busy. There was also a standard 20% tip no matter the party size which I was fine with as service was outstanding! Osteria Natalina is a hidden gem. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

The food simply isn't on the same level as other Italian restaurants in Tampa. We ordered the bruschetta as one of our appetizers, and it was disappointing. The bread was barely toasted, there was no mozzarella, no balsamic drizzle--just plain bread with chopped tomatoes in a bowl, and not even Roma tomatoes. My chicken parm was equally underwhelming. It came as two chicken breasts with sauce and cheese, but they weren't pounded thin and they weren't breaded! I'm Italian, and this is definitely not authentic chicken parm. From the awkwardness at checking in to the disappointment with the food, we leave dissatisfied which is unfortunate. The parking is tight but we were able to find a spot. Walked in and nobody at the front so we waited and someone did come. Not really welcomed, just walked up and asked for our name. Gave our reservation name and time. We were a bit early. Told to hang at the bar until the table was ready. We just sat upfront. Made it to the table and seating was tight. I felt like I was in the conversation of the party next to us. Service was ok - server was polite and professional. Took our drink and food order but really didn't check back in on us frequently. The valentine menu included a starter, a soup or salad, a main entrée and a dessert per person. I ordered the artichoke dip as my starter, tomato soup, the blackened mahi and for dessert, the chocolate mousse cake. Artichoke dip was the winner of the evening. It was very good and plentiful so we actually boxed and took home to enjoy. The tomato soup came out next and was so salty that it was not edible. The soup and the artichoke dip sat on the table for a while before the waitress came over to check in on us. When she did come over we advised we wanted the artichoke dip boxed, but the tomato soup was overly salty, like the container of salt fell into the soup. The individuals at the table next to us agreed that the soup was not able to be eaten due to the salt level, the server basically apologized and said there was nothing that they could do given it was a set menu, which was very disappointing that they did nothing to either resolve the issue or offer a salad in place of the soup give we could not eat the salad. Since the meal was prepaid, they should've done something to fix, but the messaging was basically like oh you're SOL. Like I took your money now deal with it. On to the mahi -- it was supposed to be served over coconut lime rice however it was more like a firm block of mushy porridge. Like the rice, maybe had been sitting in water or something all day not sure but it was gross and it had no flavor. The fish was also overcooked because it wasn't flaky and I think that it lacked flavor as well. I ended up boxing it and not even eating it whenever we got home. I think the trash can enjoyed it more than I did. We were full and basically over the experience so we got our desserts to go. Hubs ordered the poundcake and I ordered the chocolate mousse cake. Got home, put everything in the fridge except for the desserts, sat down on the couch to enjoy our desserts and mine was missing!! I had a takeout container that had the whipped cream and a little thing of chocolate mousse in it but no cake. WTHeck man!? It was icing on the cake or the cherry on top for the evening we experienced at this point. Let's just say that based on all the reviews for this place, we expected better and were quite disappointed. Especially for the cost of the prefix menu. I truly believe that a higher quality should've been had given this was one of the busiest days of the year to win people over.
