I thoroughly enjoyed dinner at La casa Della pasta. The pasta was made in house and I treated myself to the Parmesan fettuccine and the experience AND the flavor was divine. The chef took the extra time to char the Parmesan and took his time tossing the parm cheese with the pasta till it came out so rich and creamy. Speaking of rich and creamy the tiramisu was perfectly balanced sweet and creamy. My date for the veal Marsala and stated that all the flavors were on point for this dish. The staff was friendly and the ambience was very conducive to date night. Will come back to this hidden gem.

Another great meal for my birthday .. home made , family business and great people! Make reservations.

Everything from start to finish was delicious, and even the bread was homemade. Our service was handled with care and with nine of us dining together, the pace was excellent. From calamari to incredible pasta dishes to great vino chosen by the owner for us, first class. You will find the interior to be magical with great colors and a classy feel, including incredible chandeliers sprinkled on the ceiling. The best thing is this is owner/operator driven, hands on, serving an experience with love!

We have eaten at may different Italian local restaurants and while we felt the meal was fine, our expectations were a little higher then what we experienced for dinner. Service was absolutely incredible however each entrè and the appetizer felt like it was missing something. Sometimes less is more but the both pasta dishes for the price felt like could have had more substance; feeling like I could have made it home. The Calamari was fried perfectly but the sauce did not exactly go with it; while I would try probably try this place again, it will be a while since I believe there are many other Italians restaurants at the same price points that could give you a better deal. Realistically I would give it 3.5/5 stars

If you have not gone to La Casa Della Pasta, you are missing out! It is located in a very unassuming strip mall, but don't let the location fool you! You are greeted at the door and I would suggest making reservations to be sure to get a table, They have a wonderful wine and beer list, The Fettuccine prepared table side in a wheel of Parmigiana is a signature dish and must be experienced! All of the food is absolutely delicious, I particularly like anything in their Bolognese! Save room for deserts as their Chocolate Mousse should not be missed, but the Tiramisu is delightful as well. The staff here is very attentive and the owners keep their eyes on all the details.

This pasta spot was such a gem: quaint, cozy atmosphere, a seriously impressive wine list, and scratch-made pasta that tastes like pure magic. I ordered the mushroom risotto and I'm not being dramatic when I say it might be the best I've ever had in my life. Every single thing felt top notch, from the service to the quality and flavor of the food. It's the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Will absolutely be back!

We went for Mother's Day, they opened for lunch that special day, usually they only open for dinner. We had the Italian staples: Beef Lasagna, Ravioli a la vodka and rigatoni bolognese. Tiramisu for dessert everything was perfect. Service was very pleasant in a family-oriented environment.

Ordered takeout from here since I was craving Italian food and this place is AWESOME! The ragu pappardelle was fire! I could tell the noodles were homemade and the meat was tender. Such a great pasta dish. The linguine seafood mix was so delicious too. It was flavorful and I couldn't stop eating! The sauce had a little kick but it wasn't spicy. It was flavorful and hit the spot. I called for takeout and it was ready in 20 mins. Definitely would come back! So delicious!

Food was great, a little pricey but some dishes are definitely worth it. The ambience is cool, they have these candles in wine bottles for each table , and they give you a book with the check that you can write in. It's a cool personal touch. The one knock is that our server was not great and it looked like they do services by committee. Not a great way to motivate for a good tip, however you get on a 20% service fee so kinda get why it wasn't great

This restaurant is absolutely delicious!!! We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and all of the dishes we ordered were incredible. The place is very cozy with an elegant touch, it makes you feel at home. The service was excellent, we were 13 and the food arrived at the same time for everyone and was hot. They were always attentive and checking on us to make sure we have everything we needed. I must say, our reservation was at 8:30 pm and when we arrived they kindly told us that we had to order quickly because the kitchen closed at 9, it seemed a little illogical to let so many people make a reservation at 8:30 to close the kitchen 30 minutes later, however they never rushed us, the service was incredible and as I said before the food came out super fast, hot and delicious. We finished with tiramisu and wow it was delicious, it felt homemade. Without a doubt I would return to this restaurant. PS: It is essential to make a reservation in advance because this restaurant is almost always full.

This is a gem of a find if you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine. Reservation is definitely recommended but they were able to accommodate a table for two when we arrived. The interior has been renovated (since the old taco place) with charming decor and Italian themed ambiance. You can see the owners take pride in their services and it also reflects in their wait staff. To start, they brought along various bread and dips to get you in the Italian feasting mood. With so many choices of regular dishes, we opted in for the special menu starting with the Speck and Brie, which was a perfect warm appetizer to start. The main courses were the Fettuccine Parma Wheel which were prepared tableside with an 24 month aged Parma cheese wheel from Italy; and Eggplant Parma which is freshly prepared and large enough to eat for two! Both dishes were uniquely made and the tastes were amazing. We ended with tiramisu as it's a must have for any Italian restaurant. It's homemade with simple and delicious flavors. Definitely will be back.

We started with the signature mozzarella cart, which was an experience in itself. The freshness and quality of the cheese, heirloom tomatoes and basil were remarkable, and it set the tone for the rest of the evening. The house bread with the lemon butter was delicious and impossible to stop eating. The tagliolini al ragù was perfectly balanced, with fresh pasta cooked to the ideal texture and a rich, deeply developed sauce that never felt heavy. The tortello all'uovo was exquisite--silky pasta surrounding a luscious, perfectly cooked egg yolk, creating an incredibly luxurious bite. The branzino alla Ligure was flawlessly prepared. The fish was delicate, moist, and beautifully seasoned, allowing the natural flavors to shine while the accompaniments complemented it without overpowering the dish. Every cocktail was equally well crafted and complemented the meal beautifully. What truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service. The staff was exceptionally attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm without ever feeling intrusive. Every detail was anticipated, each course was timed perfectly, and the team demonstrated the level of hospitality you expect from a world-class dining destination. What impressed me most was the consistency. Every plate arrived beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and thoughtfully seasoned. The attention to detail, precision, and respect for each ingredient made every course memorable. ROCCA delivers the kind of dining experience that reminds you why Michelin-starred restaurants are so special. From the flawless execution in the kitchen to the impeccable hospitality in the dining room, every aspect of the evening exceeded expectations. If you appreciate authentic Italian cuisine executed at the highest level, ROCCA is an absolute must-visit in Tampa. I can't wait to return and experience more of this exceptional menu.

I made a reservation on Open Table for 2 p.m. My husband and I live in the South Shore area and one of our sons lives in St. Petersburg. For each of us, it's a 45 minute to an hour drive to get to Casa Santo Stefano. My husband (the Dad whom we were celebrating) and I arrived @ 1:45. We get to the door with about 10 other patrons and the door is LOCKED. After a couple of minutes, the door opens and we're told the restaurant is closed due to an "emergency" but that the restaurant may open later that night and anyone with a reservation was notified. I checked my phone and received an email from Open Table stating " the restaurant canceled your reservation" at 1:10 p.m. Everyone was already on the road and we don't check emails while driving. Why not post a sign on the door instead of having patrons stand outside in 100° heat wondering what happened? We didn't see emergency personal, a fire truck or ambulance, so thankfully it wasn't anything catastrophic. Knowing the Columbia and Casa Santo Stefano are owned by the same family, we walked to the Columbia, they graciously honored our reservation. We had a great meal even though it wasn't the Italian Sunday pasta we were anticipating. Someone told me Casa posted that they were open at 4 p.m. on Monday. Good thing we didn't wait around on Sunday. Casa Santo Stefano, how about doing right by your disappointed patrons? How about comping a meal for Dad or least a complimentary glass of wine, coffee and dessert so I can change this 1 star review to a 5 star!
