Stopped in for dinner after a leaf peeping ride. We were able to sit on the deck with out pup. The staff is amazing so kind and hospitable. The best part is that the chef made a special porkchop for our pupper too. She not only devoured it but also shared with my hubbie. So happy to have stopped in. We loved the food

We had a couple of problems with this restaurant, some of them were probably a reflection of how busy they were on a holiday weekend. We have to compliment Luke, our waiter for poise (and stamina) under pressure. He was also waiting on several large tables with small children which is a lot of extra work. So, hats off to Luke for being super helpful. The bar is large and occupies the center of the restaurant. There are no quiet areas. As a matter of fact, the noise level was overwhelming. If you like going to restaurants/bars and screaming at one another at the top of your lungs, THIS is your place! Seriously. I had a clear view of the bar and people there were literally standing cheek-to-jowl and yelling at each other. It was so bad I started to wonder if I was imagining it. So I pulled out my sound meter app on my phone and the noise level was consistently at 90dB! So I give the ambiance an F-minus. Eat outside at one of the few outdoor tables if want to hear one another. On a busy night like ours, don't sit near the door or you'll have a crowd of people looking over your shoulder to see how soon you might finish your meal. Creepy! Not a great place for a date, unless of course you really enjoy screaming at one another. Now for the food. The Caesar Salad was lackluster and the little crown of parmesan was stale. My French Onion Soup was sweet(?) Bizarre. For our main entrees, The wifey got the Brisket Sandwich. Two chunks of brisket, one of which was mostly fat. My Blueberry BBQ Pork Chop was overcooked, hard to cut and there was about an ounce or less of the storied bluebeery BBQ sauce. I have to say that I've never until that night, bit into a crunchy blueberry. I hope I don't get sick! The broccoli "mash" looked disgusting and tasted like overcooked broccoli sent through a blender. The potato salad was basically chunks of boiled potato in some sort of tasteless white sauce. For dessert we had the Chocolate Carrot Cake which was really a piece of chocolate cake with sweet white carrot frosting. It could easily have been a mix. I hope this was an off night for the chef(s), but we ain't comin' back.

Sitting out with a great view of the peeps walking by.

Fantastic service and excellent food! Our waitress was incredible and made outstanding adult concoction recommendations. If you find yourself in N.Conway looking for great food, bevs, and service, give Chef's Bistro a shot!

Friendly fun bartenders give exceptional service. The food was absolutely beautiful and delicious. We just went for appetizers and could not have predicted. We would find the best charcuterie board in the white mountains. Seasonal cocktail menu is imaginative and diverse. Will definitely be back.

The steak frites were awesome! The drinks were great, although they had advertised beverages online, but unfortunately did not have them at the bar. Lots of options for vegan and gluten free diets. Yummy food! A friend got the Cesar salad, but was disappointed because she was hoping for more than 1 anchovy and there wasn't enough dressing. The other girls enjoyed their food as well!

Food is average with not a lot of flavor. Service is average. Not worth the cost as prices are high.

Great service and as soon as you walk in , the host is quick and friendly. Service was very good and the lamb Kabobs were delicious.

Interior is reflective of a Victorian manor. We were seated promptly at a table with an outdoor garden and pool view. Our waitress was attentive without hovering. My sister ordered The Manor Salad which was a meal size. Our salads were brought out in a reasonable timeframe. Her salad had blueberries, Gorgonzola cheese, glazed pecans, and dried cranberries on Bibb lettuce - very tasty. I ordered Caprese Salad which we took a picture of. It was excellent as well. We both ordered filets which were large (8 oz), cooked as ordered, were wrapped in crispy bacon with an excellent brown sauce on top. Both were very tender and delicious. I had rice pilaf which was the best I have ever had while my sister had mashed potatoes. Green beans and a carrot completed the dish. We were too full for dessert. We would recommend The Wild Rose to anyone especially for special occasions.

Very disappointing experience and it's not the server's fault…read more. There is no hostess on duty. Reservation was at 6:30 pm, dinner order was taken at 7;30pm and waiting for the bill at 8:30pm. The management had one server for over 30 guests (including a party of 14 adults) that created a wait for over an hour just to make a dinner order (only after we called out across the dining room to get her attention). Returned the shrimp cocktail as it was too slimy to eat. The wife and I traded our dinners between us her Halibut dry and overcooked and not prepared as described with a crust that did not exist. The wild rose dinner that included shrimp we did not eat as we did not trust it. This was our experience but your's be different! But we will not be back.
