We went with a roof mount install. The cover doesn't fully extend over my roof line so there's a weird gap that 5 inches of roofing would have made a huge difference. The install took 3 days but left my backyard FULL of metal shavings, I'm talking all in my brand new turf and all in my pool and in the concrete floor grooves. I asked them if they had a shop vac instead of a blower so they could actually pick up the debris instead of just blowing it around and they didn't. So I spent quite a while picking up metal pieces since dogs and kids usually run barefoot in the yard. I had some outlets installed that were placed in nice looking weather boxes but I was shocked they weren't GFCI. My neighbor used this company that's how we made contact, she just had to have the gutters unclogged professionally since the top is open and flat it collects leaves and other debris, so good to note I'll have to figure out how to routinely clean up there to avoid the same issue. Was this worth the price? - meh time will tell, but so far this was the least exciting part of our backyard reno.
