The prices are fair and the work is always so high quality! My mom goes exclusively to Phi. Every time I've gone I have not been disappointed! The ladies are always so welcoming and kind. I just went this week for a little mom and daughter date and they took great care of both of us! I like to keep my nails really short and the ladies did EXACTLY what I wanted! I am so so so glad I was able to find this place and book an appointment! I have a few weeks to go home for the holidays and my husband wanted to treat me out! Everyone here was super friendly and individually came up to me to greet me. You also get a glass of your choice of wine!! I had Nee. I showed him a photo I found off of Pinterest and asked if he was able to do it, he quickly glanced and it and said yes. I asked if it would take a long time and he said no. He was correct! He did such an awesome job with my inspiration photo I showed him. He's super confident and knows what he's doing! The full set took about an hour, which I expected to be longer. Chelsea Nail Bar was recommended by a few people from FB so I decided to stop by. I got a mani/pedi & eyebrow/lip wax. I'm highly impressed by the wax. She was super nice and my brows came out evenly and cleaned up. This was my FIRST and LAST time here. I came to this nail salon on June 14th 2025. I got a pedicure and full set. Mind you I've been to MANY nail salons (from California to Las Vegas and Oregon) and this one by far had to have been one of the worst experiences I've had. I'll attach pictures/ video with the review. I'll start with the pedicure, I asked for a regular pedicure which came with the hot stones, scrub and lotion. The lady added the color on my toes before she actually did the hot stones and lotion which was different because as I was sitting next to my cousin she received the whole treatment before they added the color and usually that's how it goes in that order. While the lady was working on my right toe, she went DEEP into my tissue to where I started BLEEDING now all she did was spray water on it and kept wiping the blood off my toe without even apologizing. The day after my toe is swollen, sore and scabbed up. I've been having to walk with a limp due to my toe. Moving on to my nails, I asked for a full set (acrylics) with a simple white French tips. As this lady is applying the powder on my nails I start to feel a burning sensation on my thumbs and the lady instantly sprayed alcohol/water on my nails to cool it down and I asked her "is the normal?" Her response was to laugh it off and say it happens a lot with people specifically on their thumbs. Which is a big red flag! Because why is my fingers burning? I started to touch my nails after she applied the powder and the temperature of it was HOT. Not warm, hot! Like I said I've gotten my nails done many times and this has NEVER happened. So when she trimmed my nails I asked her to go shorter and she told me she is going to file it down shorter, when it came down to the filing she didn't file them shorter I had to ask her again to go shorter and her response was "oh you want shorter?" Like she had forgot 10 mins ago I had asked to go shorter. Anyways while she was filing my nails she kept getting my skin. I've had to say "Ow" about a thousand times before she changed the filing piece. Personally my preference I don't like bulging nails so I had to keep asking her to file it down. Overall she did a messy job. 0/10 recommend. I paid $109 for my services. read more

This new nail bar has been a dream come true discovery in my neighborhood. They offer variety of manicure and pedicure services here, and personally, I've only done basic/regular pedicures and they've done a fantastic job. Given that many nail salons are capable of removing cuticles and paint your nails, I've been to many salons that miss spots and paint slightly over the nail, just not perfect. At this nail bar, I've had different aestheticians work on my pedicures and they've all perfected pedicures and I'm in and out within my time. They have ample parking lot and easy access off of Cooper Point Road or Harrison Ave. PLENTY of seats and also very spacious between each chair so I feel very comfortable here. read more

I went in for a fill knowing I needed two nails replaced. Well after filing it ended up 5 nails. I showed my design which she did great! However the nails that were replaced were cut but she never matched them to my existing acrylics, now I have really short thumb and pinky nails and one of my pointer nails is much shorter than the one she replaced. I walked in 5pm, they close at 7. I was immediately met by the front desk concierge and guided to the color wall. First impression, clean sleek and lovely. I opted for the Golden Spa Pedicure and a gel manicure. The people were friendly and kind. The setting was clean and relaxing. The spa chairs were divine. My manicure was done at my chair, previous experiences at other places have not always been great with this set up, but this was done with grace and care. When I went to pay, it was 3 times what was stated online and the front desk clerk wouldn't let me see a receipt until after I paid. Reluctantly I went ahead and paid. I got home and looked at the receipt they gave me and they charged me for nail polish even though it was supposed to be included. And what was supposed to be 42$ was actually 79$. So $79 per pedi plus $10 for polish x3. I have only been here a few times but I went here last week and was not satisfied with my nails. I got powder dip with nail tips from the top they were super cute but after I left and got to inspecting I saw both thumb nails actually had tips on that were way too big and there was a gap between my real nail and the fake one. Then my nails all had a divet in them showing where the nail tip ended.. needless to say I was upset then lost 2 nails doing simple things like opening up some paper towels and catching something falling from the fridge. I went back and told them what happened got told I was getting a discount Yay! Nope I got a different set but they managed to charge me for every single thing they could.. things I didn't even pay for last time. I really wanted to have a good experience. I've had so much anxiety about this appointment. I was getting my nails done for my wedding. Asked for black coffin shaped nails. If you looked from far away my nails look ok. But as the tech was doing my nails they were looking pretty thick at the base which I don't remember them being like that but I haven't had my nails done in over 10 years so who was I to say that it looked thick. I did mention something when they looked just off and she just said why black for wedding. Im not one to make a fuss over something for myself so I just said that my wedding is a diande los muertos themed and that we were getting married that day so that our loved ones who had passed could come celebrate. When she was done, I paid $80 and left without making a follow up appointment. I had planned to make this a treat of mine if I had loved the way they turned out. I washed my hands when I got home and the nails started to bubble and kind of have this weird burn feeling under the acrylic which has never happened before. Soon all of the nails looked like this and my wedding was in a few days. At my wedding the thumb nails had a chuck of the nail polish off and it looked horrible. I will never go back here and I really for once wanted to look like a princess for my wedding and then to keep it up. I love the coffin shape and a lot of nail places that I look into don't do them. Which is why I have them a shot since it's in their service menu. I am very disappointed, sad and bow on the hunt for somewhere that does coffin nails well. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, but I can't. So my daughter went in to get a basic full set acrylic with black tip and a little bit of silver glitter around the black tip. My youngest daughter went with my older daughter into the salon, so I was not able to be there. I feel they fully took advantage of her being young and getting the services done. Kevin Sang also added their own tip. When my daughter told me how much she paid I asked what she got done and she explained and I called the salon up and gave the exact same thing to get a quote that my daughter had done to her nails and they quoted me $10 less I decided to go back in the store to talk to the manager and she seemed very complacent not even caring and proceeded to talk to her salon people in her language as if, I was nonexistent that I was right there. She proceeded to get a Calculator and tell me that the basic full set was $49 but there is additional add-on because of the type of nail polish she got and the length of her nails. Which is clearly ridiculous because you can see her nails are not that long. I think that they took full advantage of her and overcharged her, and they proceeded to give themselves extra money with tip, and then the receipt said full set with gel at $74!!!!! This place is an absolute rip off, rude people, insulting, and inconsiderate to talk in their language when a person has complained and they are right there! I have gone here three times and I'm not sire why I continued to go back, the file who did my nails the first time was extremely rough I had cuts on my fingers from her filing my nails too much. Half of my real nails were exposed, I had to go back and get a whole new set because they were just that bad and the guy did a amazing job, two weeks go by and I go to get a fill and they did a ok job but they still weren't worth the money I paid. The last time I went I got stuck with the girl who did my first set and I was extremely annoyed she was rough again she made my fingers bleed I asked to her to make my nails thinner and they were extremely thick and the nail polish has been peeling off. This is the second time I've been to Chelsea. The first time was only for a pedicure. The salon is clean, and they offer you a drink. My girlfriend got hot stones on her legs, and I did not. No big deal. Pedicure was fine. I went yesterday for gel manicure and regular pedicure. Again, clean, offered drink. A man began on my feet, while a woman started on my manicure. I told her I had a powdered dip still on the remaining nails. As soon as they both began, I noticed that my nail polish was being taken off with a metal bit on their tool. Previously, I have only had a sanding one, followed by a wrap to completely remove the polish. I didn't think about it, until she hurt the skin around my nail bed. She kind of laughed and told me to turn off the massage chair. Okay....then, she did it again! She looked a the guy doing my pedicure, and soon, he was replaced with another woman. Fine. But then, OUCH again on my nails! In retrospect, I should have asked for NO metal bit to be used on my natural nails. I've read several other reviews here, and they say much the same thing, and when they asked for no metal, were told that's the only way to remove it. What it is, is quicker for them, but definitely not a good idea for natural nails....maybe acrylics. She finally got all the polish off, and did an adequate job on adding the new polish. (The nail polish I picked out of the book did not match what they were putting on, but, whatever.....). So, the woman doing the pedicure did not put lotion on my legs. After the manicure was done, the other woman only did lotion/massage on my hands, and a little past my wrists, not my whole arm. When paying, I noticed that the charge was $10 more than what I expected. They don't tell you that they charge $10 to remove your old polish! We'll see how long they last, but I have three fingers that have skin missing from the drill bit, and some of my nails are now very thin. I will go back to Sun Nails (almost next door, where I get my haircut), from now on. They are a little slower, but gentle, friendly, and don't upcharge. I only went to Chelsea because they are open on Sundays. Not going back here again. read more

I've gone here a handful of times and was extremely happy. The last two times were not pleasant in the slightest. They had some guy taking off my gel polish that seemed to have zero experience, and it felt as if he was trying to take off my whole nail. The guy who did my nails told me they would be able to do a flat black polish, but after he finished they were high gloss, so when I asked him why it wasn't a flat black, he said he thought I meant all black. Then most of my nails weren't straight, so when I asked if he could file them straight, he seemed annoyed. When I left I noticed there was some bubbling in the polish on one of my nails, and the next day the polish came off. When I went back to have them fix it, I got the same guy, and he was talking crap about me in Vietnamese. Unfortunately, this experience ruined it for me and I will not be back.
