The nail technician do not understand English very well at all. So when I told them that I do not want a massage because I have a medical condition, they went ahead with a massage anyway, and I told him to stop. I had to tell him to stop a few times and then somebody translated it. In general, there are also quite rough when they give you a pedicure. Although the salon equipment looks nice, the floors are always very dirty. They used to have a Nail Tech technician that spoke very good English, but she's not there anymore. She was wonderful and did a fantastic job. I will not go back and do not recommend this salon. read more

Best Customer Service I could ask for! My nails chipped a day after so I went back and asked if they could fix them and they did! They were apologetic and so nice. They also glued up a cracked nail! They do quality manicures and pedicures. The place is nicely decorated. Bring your own lotion as theirs smells really horrible and is hard to wash off, so the bad scent lingers. I went there once before and had a fairly good experience besides being rough with my fingers. So when I was passing through town on Aug 26th(I live in Puyallup) I thought I would stop in to get a dip manicure it was nice beside she got a little rough, I loved my nails when I left. The problem began that evening, I laid down and the side of my finger started hurting, I looked it was pink and had a small cut, the nail along the side of my finger was rough and scratchy. Sunday my thumb nail broke as pictured and then today Monday I chipped my middle finger. I paid 66 dollars for this. I am going to call and talk to them tomorrow. I used to come down to Posh from Tacoma once a month to get my nails done. I found a nail tech in Puyallup that I liked well enough and stopped making the drive about a year ago. At one point the technicians here were so good that it was worth driving sometimes an hour with traffic to get my nails done here. A few days ago I went in to get my dip redone because I was in the area visiting family, the woman who removed my dip powder was not paying attention and nicked my finger a few times but she quickly checked on me so I let her continue.. She kept the drill running in one hand while she put tin foil on my nails with the other and the drill slipped out of her fingers, bouncing off my hand - causing my knuckle to bleed where it had made contact. At that point I stopped the manicure and told her that I was going to be done, thanked her for her time, and paid the $12 for dip removal. I've never walked out of a manicure before and was deeply disappointed that my previous "spot" was the place where it happened. read more

I've had wonderful experiences here and it was my go-to nail place until my recent experience. I am so disappointed to be writing this review. I came in to get a manicure and pedicure. I asked for a clear polish that I brought for my fingers and a buff shine finish for my toes. When asked which type of pedicure, I asked for the clay mask pedicure. The technician asked if I wanted to spend a little extra on hot paraffin wax and I declined (though the paraffin wax is excellent). I have gotten these same pedicures from this place in the past. They start with the clay mask rubbed on the legs and then begin with the pedicure on the toes. She began her work but never used the clay mask. When she was almost finished, I asked her if she was saving this part for the end and she said she already did this part. She digs a small bag out of the trash to show me what she used (it was a cream, not clay). I could see the portion cup of clay on her station and she continued to lie and say she did the correct pedicure. On top of the this, the massage was horrible. She basically rubbed lotion my legs while staring out the window and then pounded on them. I finally told her that I've had clay pedicures done there before and asked her if they were changing products or discontinuing this type of pedicure and she said they are just using a different product. I was completely baffled and I could tell that the person doing my manicure was uncomfortable. When I went to pay, the person who did my manicure was calculating the total and finally told me that the other technician admitted that they still do the clay pedicure, she just chose not to use it even though I asked for it. I got a $2 discount. I really do not understand why she lied to me. I won't be going back for quite a while. I still gave a 3 stars because everyone else I have ever worked with here was great. Accidentally found this absolute GEM of a salon. Tony (the owner) did my manicure and not only is he a joy to interact with, but he gave me the highest quality set of gel nails I have ever had. I showed him a picture and he matched it EXACTLY. Also, I came in within the last hour of the salon being open, and he still serviced me which I truly appreciated, and wan't expecting, I had already been turned away by a salon nearby. I have been getting acrylics for about 6 years and I couldn't be happier with his work! Also he's hilarious, so you'll be laughing the entire time. Highly recommend! read more

Came in for a pedicure and was seated right away in a pedicure chair. They forgot about me for 50 mins while they were attending to people that came in after me for pedicures. The place is very nice inside and my past 3 encounters at this business have been great except for this time! I have never seen the nail tech there that did my nails today. But she caused almost all of my cuticles to bleed and I am still trying to stop the bleeding nearly 20 minutes after leaving the salon.. I work with my hands so I am not happy about the small painful cuts I have to deal with. I also didn't feel that relaxed when getting my nails done because I was getting a pedicure at the same time and the person doing my fingers had me in all kinds of uncomfortable positions, instead of moving around the chair, it was hard for me to balance the black light on my lap while the person doing my pedicure is having me move my legs in and out of the water, it was very odd. While sitting there the nail tech lady that was doing someone else's nails was coughing and sneezing all over the place without covering. They are not very friendly at all!! My partner was getting a stone massage and the mail tech forgot to put gel so she burnt my partner. I went in here with my sister to get full sets done. The price list says $45 for a gel set. Her and I both got a very basic shape and one nail color different than the rest. They tried to charge us each $56, when I questioned why the price was $11 more each the gal the was checking us out got an attitude and said that we each got a design. They had us in and out in a half an hour. They did one coat of gel polish so my nails are pretty much see through in any light. Pretty unfortunate. read more

It is fairly new and has far less foot traffic/wait times compared to other local salons. Previously, I had been going to a salon about 45 minutes away due to having been going there for 14 years. Once I found and tried this salon, which is much closer to home, I had no reason to continue business at the other salon. This place is truly a gem and you would be foolish to not try them if you are in the market for a new salon! I regularly get pedicures and full set acrylics/fills bi weekly. Hi, so i went in looking for a standard pedicure and full set. The ladies seemed sweet but the lady who did my hands absolutely destroyed my natural nails instead of soaking them off. the salon appeared nice and high end but their tools and the salon was pretty dirty. My pedicurist had me do a special pedicure that i didn't even want and my ACTUAL pedicure looks like a 8 year old did it. wanted to enjoy this experience but i was stressed out and it was kind of a painful experience. wouldn't really recommend unless you're a masochist or someone looking to destroy their nails and waste money. spent $127 and left tips for both of my artists--however did not enjoy the experience at all. read more

Her lady grabbed two really ugly blue and purple colors off her cart and told my friend to choose between those, didn't even give her an option to choose a color from the rack. When we got to the register they tried to charge her for a gel set and when I finally had to advocate that she in fact did NOT get gel, they examined her toes and made it super awkward. I never do a review but had to. The people are really nice. However, not the best at doing nails. I went in and had dip fill. I realized she didn't take off all the previous dip color before putting on the new dip color. She was two coats of dip in and you could see all the way through my natural nail. The color I chose was a hot pink color. She answered her cell phone a few times while doing my nails. By the time she was done and walked outside to talk on her cell phone, I could see the purple dip from the last color right through the new hot pink color. You could see straight through to my nature nail. I paid $48 for nails that really look awful. I explained to the guy that I don't like my nails to look that thin and see through. He offered to fix them but stated he would have to take off the color and redo my nails. I explained that I don't have another two hours to sit there and fix them. I went home and showed my husband and he was appalled too. It looks like a 3rd grader polished my nails. They look really bad. Not going back again. read more
