To my surprise, I encountered a relaxing massage. The price point is amazing and it's worth every penny. Just last weekend, I got a 60-minute massage and a 30-minute foot massage and it was everything I needed. The music is tranquil and the vibe is chill! The only two issues I have is the rooms are not private as the walls don't go to the ceiling and there is no door to the room, only a sheet. The folks that work there can be heard in the back talking among themselves, which doesn't always provide a relaxing atmosphere. Regardless, I highly recommend this place and will be back every time I am in the area!

The Esthetician led me into a dimly lit room filled with ambient background music and a comfy massage bed. I booked a one hour hydro facial treatment (extra facial serum with Yelp check in), and the process started as soon as I changed into my robe. The facial creams used during my treatment have this cooling sensation which smells fresh and clean on my face. Esthetician also removed some blackheads around the T-zone (wasn't too painful), toners used on my face were mild and did not irritate the skin too much. A calming mask was then placed on my face, and was told by the Esthetician to take a short nap- which I gladly did. Maybe cause I enjoyed the treatment a bit too much, it felt less than the one hour I paid for. Right away the person at the desk helped me and set me up in my acupuncture room explaining billing and insurance. Daisy was my liscensed acupuncturist. Made me feel very comfortable with it being my first time. She explained everything so well. Took her time to ask me question and listen with care. First is the acupuncture part the needle insertion was miminal pain to no pain. After 20 min with needle and infared heat is massage. Daisy is very good with this I had no pain from her. Last was cupping. Daisy is amazing and I feel for the first time since my pain that she will be the person to truly help me. I felt very relaxed and relief afterwards. They speak English and they are located in the basement so it can be hard to spot but once inside, their space is cozy, warm, and very relaxing. He knew exactly where all my knots were at and focused on it instead of just massaging at areas that didn't hurt. The seat was very comfortable and before sitting down, they even offer me water. With my 30 min massage, it also came with hot stones that my masseuse would use to rub my feet. It felt so good that I felt like he was melting all my pain and tightness away. I also had a body massage as well, and with that they would take you into a private room to focus on all your kinks and knots. I would point to him places I would like for him to focus on and he did. If he moved to a spot I didn't like and I ask him to move back, he was more then happy to do so. People complaining about pain but you can always ask to them to be more gentle, why take the massage for an hour and then complain it's too hard afterwards. As for tip complaints, when I go out to eat at places and spend 150$ on a dinner or so on a good dinner you still tip 20% just for waiters to bring out food you ordered, mean while massage places put a straight hour of effort and require a lot of energy to perform the massage should get more then waiter. I tip my barber 20$ for a cut they already get paid to do to show appreciation. Its not the same as restaurant, 20% of 40$ massage is $8, how you tipping $8 for hard work vs someone pouring water and bringing out food you ordered out. The person handling my appointment stated that I will be charged $14 in taxes based on the original price of the service, not the discounted Groupon price, and 10%. This is against the law, as taxes should be calculated based on the amount actually paid (the Groupon price). I tried to address the issue, but it was clear they weren't interested in correcting the error, I was recommended to cancel my Groupon. I feel this is both unethical and misleading. I would advise anyone using a Groupon for services to double-check how taxes are being calculated to avoid unnecessary extra charges.
