3.5 stars for the food and 5 stars for the price. Chens Kitchen just opened not too long ago located at the plaza where Walmart, Krispy Kreme, Chipolte, WAWA gas is located. So yes you have options just in case. We were hungry after some Christmas shopping at Walmart and walked over to Chens. Chens Kitchen is a small Chinese restaurant. Better for take-out but since they are freshly open, the store is nice, modern, cute and has blackboard like wall with writing on it that can entertain you as you wait for your food. They only have 5 tables; 3 inside and 2 al fresco. You order at their counter and then wait for your meal. Prices are good. Meals range from $6 to $17 more or less. Very affordable for a plastic white to-go container full of food. I went for lunch and took advantage of their lunch specials; $6.95. Jalapeno Chicken - thin chicken strips with different peppers and few jalapenos. On the menu it says spicy but it was far from it and so I was disappointed because I like spicy. Comes with pork fried rice that was ehh OK and an egg roll that was good. The overall flavor is good, it just needed the jalapeno kick that I was expecting. This meal should be called chicken and peppers. Chicken Lo Mein - Basic Chicken lo mein; chicken and noodles with veggies, pork fried rice; again ehh ok and an egg roll. They need a bigger variety for drinks. They have a refrigerator that you can open and grab a drink but the options are few. They only have some basic sodas, water and ice tea. They should carry more variety and having some Chinese sodas, drinks or products would kick Chens Kitchen up a notch. Service was fine, nothing out of the ball park, they are new and they looked busy trying to get the flow of things. I will try again because it was decent and the price was good for a quick nothing fancy lunch.

The cashier never looked up from his phone and shoved my CC receipt at me one handed while he played games on his phone

Food: Greasy Service:Poor Cleanliness Alright Price: Pricey for quality I walked in and the guy working the counter didn't look up from the game he was playing on his phone. He glanced up and I asked to place an order. He asked if I was picking up sesame chicken. I said no I wanted to place an order. He looked annoyed and barely put his phone down. His earbuds were in and he kept saying,"what?!" while I tried to order. He even picked up his phone while I was mid order to continue whatever raid game he was playing. I asked for two combo dinners and when he repeated back the order he said white rice right? And I said no I said fried rice, again he looked annoyed. He then told me the price and to drop my card in the box. He went back to playing his game one handed and literally didn't look at me again. He shoved the report paper at me. When I signed and placed back in box he didn't look up. He didn't give me a time to wait he just proceeded to the corner while chatting on his earbuds and playing his game. When my food was up he pushed through the box barrier and finally looked up to say, "everything good?" I grabbed my food and left. When I got home the general taos was not xspicy as I had asked, it was actually not spicy at all. The chicken quality was rubbery. My wings tasted as if they had been fried in old oil and they looked grayish rather than a nice red brown like I had in the past at other chinese takeout spots. The rice was okay. The best part was the wonton soup. Overall a disappointing experience and I will not be returning.

Shares busy, chaotic Super Walmart parking lot. Small inside seating area, table also outside on sidewalk. Quickly greeted and order taken. Order was ready after brief wait. Lemon pepper chicken wings were good, well seasoned & crispy. Brown rice with combo meal was so-so, undercooked. Beautiful bold wall murals.

It's new it's clean and definitely ahead of many take outs. The menus are on HD monitors rather than the usual menu style. The wall is dressed in artwork. I ordered General Tso dinner with pork fried rice and egg roll. The chicken was perfectly crispy and sauced well. It's not spicy at all and not too sweet. The fried rice was nearly perfect but needed a little more flavor from the oil. The rice had onion and sprouts which not many places use sprouts. My least favorite was the egg roll. It was something about it that I just really didn't care for. I would definitely eat here again especially if I'm waiting for a few hours at Walmart for my car to be ready.

I came here for the first time today I got the honey garlic chicken meal The chicken was fried good and they put the sauce on the side which I like so the chicken won't get soggy The pork fried rice they could've kept it .. I'll give it a -1 star I also got the crab Rangoon which is the reason for 2 of the three stars it's a little more than what I usual pay but it's the best thing I've order Overall will I come back I doubt it (probably for the Rangoon) Would I recommend a friend I doubt it

Really good Chinese food, wings can get a little soggy if not asked to fry them hard. Great prices. Clean environment.

I didn't understand the prices until the food came out. The shrimp and scallops were HUGE. I mean the size of a crab cake almost. The quality and freshness of the seafood makes this place next level. The portions are also large and shareable -- for 2 ppl we had leftovers. I fell in love with the Chinese mustard sauce they put on the table. Added the perfect touch of spice / heat. They have a full bar but they made me a nice grapefruit cocktail I enjoyed.

While waiting for my party to arrive, I perused the wine menu. It was quite extensive. I think an oenophile would be quite happy with the selection offered. I had a Cotes du Rhone (Alain Jaume, $12) that I thoroughly enjoyed. The menu is adequately sized, but I would not say it was extensive. If you are looking for your favorite Sunday eve dish, you may not find it here, but you won't have a problem if you can pivot to another preparation. Dishes ordered at my table were a spring roll, a house special wonton soup (very flavorful) and lobster dumplings for appetizers. If I can be nit-picky, I'd suggest that they change the size of their dishes to smaller plates and bowls. The food looked puny on the large stark-white plates without a garnish, but all the flavors were spot on, so does it really matter? I actually think it does because you can tell that the owners take pride in the details of their establishment. For entree's, we ordered a spicy shrimp dish (4 jumbo, crisp shrimps came in the order), a Grand Marnier crispy beef (4 large pieces), a house fried rice with nuggets of char siu pork, tender baby shrimp, white meat chicken, egg and vegetables and a special of wok fried string beans which was by far the standout of our meal. After supper, we ordered some tea. It was somewhat weak in flavor but that could have been our fault; we did not let it steep long enough. The waiter came by with a tray of delicious-looking cakes to choose from but we declined. Every person that we encountered was nicer than the next. The waiters were knowledgeable and paced our meal well. Prices are not inexpensive, and reservations are definitely suggested. They do takeout as well.

I asked the server how long they have been open and he said 8 months but I see Yelp pics and reviews dating back at least 3 years. Someone must have told him the wrong information but no matter, we are just glad we finally found it. We went with the classic Shoyu Ramen with nishu beef and black garlic. I was over the moon when they touted a 12 hour chicken broth soup base. Every ramen shop I have tried to get ramen from has a pork based broth which I do not eat. I'm finally able to have ramen and boy it did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly al dente and had a satisfying chew with every bite. The broth was so flavorful with the bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and all the slow cooked fats and oil from the chicken broth and the nishu beef, which was tender, thinly sliced rib-eye meat, I suspect. All this topped off with a perfectly cooked soy marinated egg. What an amazing flavor combination. The takoyaki appetizer was also delicious. Biting into the crispy exterior, you are then met with a soft and tender interior filled with chunks of octopus. The balls sat atop Japanese mayo and was drizzled with delicious takoyaki sauce. All it was missing was the katsuobushi which would have elevated the takoyaki flavor. We also ordered the Mala Shrimp which was on the Chinese menu and did not come with rice. That had to be ordered separately. Food came out quick as we were the only patrons apart from another table outside and service was good until a large party sauntered in and the server became inundated with requests. All in all, we will definitely be back to try out other menu items.

It's in a different type of location -- a very small strip of businesses with only a few spots in front -- in the middle of a residential location. We were driving by between lunch and dinner and decided to stop to bring some food home for a later meal. When we stopped by, we got to meet the owners and chef. They were both very welcoming and friendly. He told us about some special meals and made suggestions. He was preparing some blue crabs for his own lunch, and they looked wonderful. You can get some special meals here, off menu, if you preorder. We went with a couple of our usual choices so we could see how they compared. We ordered some pork with Chinese vegetables and an order of Singapore rice noodles. Plus, for me an order of egg roll. The rice noodles were such a large portion that it filled two containers. And we wound up eating several meals from our take home food. The eggroll was very good. I ate one right away! There were two to the order. It had a different crispy wrapper -- it seemed house made. And it was filled with larger bits of meat. I really liked it. There was a lot of large flat pork slices in with the vegetables. In a brown sauce, there was broccoli, bok choy, pea pods, etc. It came with a side container of white rice. The rice noodles were fragrant with curry, but it only had a slight kick (as in not too spicy). There were lots of shrimp, chicken, and pork strips mixed in with the thin noodles. This dish was addictive. We are so glad we stopped to try them. Really one of the better Chinese places we've tried and certainly one of the better take-out places. Wish they were closer, or we'd be there more often.
