My wife and I came here for the first time recently after hearing good things. I decided to try a small pizza and she ordered the Chicken Parm. The waitress informed me that the pizza was buy one get one so major bonus right away, One for here and one to go. The pizza came and it was great. Probably 4-5 star pizza. My wife's chicken farm was good but not great. The chicken was a bit overcooked which is why I settled with a 4 rating. I took the spare pizza home and had enough for breakfast and lunch the next day.

    Delicious House Special

Hot,fresh and delicious! Waitress was good and friendly. They weren't very busy and it was pretty quiet. Will definitely do it again.

Good food but a little pricey we had to tell the waiter 3 times how to run our bill through on our debit cards.

STAFF - The servers were very friendly and helpful. FOOD - The pizza was good and flavorful. It wasn't outstanding or the best I have had but if I was in the area I would go again. We drove an hour to try the food based on pictures I seen online. I was sad that the buffalo chicken pizza didn't have the cool drizzle of sauce on the top like I was told previously. I also wish they would have a deep dish option but understand may be difficult with lots of options on the menu. PRICE - I felt the pizza cost was very reasonable and the medium and large pizza we had could have easily fed 4-5 people. THE GOOD - Unique menu - Clean restaurant and friendly staff - Prices pretty reasonable NOT SO GOOD -Really wasn't anything negative to say. It's always great to find spots that cater to people with dairy sensitivities or different dietary choices. When you enter, you wait in line to order at the cash register. Then, you sit down and they bring you your food. I ordered a vegan pizza and sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and service was relatively fast despite the place being packed! While my pizza was a bit on the greasy side (which I didn't mind in the moment), the flavor was really enjoyable. Unfortunately, after eating there, I felt unwell for a couple of days. I can't confirm my stomach upset was related to the pizza, but that was my experience. They also host live music on weekend evenings. It was a little louder than I prefer, but if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, that could definitely be a plus. The place was busy when I visited, which is always a good sign, and while I had to park up the street, the free parking was convenient. Overall, I appreciate that they offer inclusive menu options, found their service to be friendly and fast, and appreciated the clean restrooms, even on a busy night. One additional note: the logo features imagery that appears to reference a stereotypical Native headdress, and as far as I can tell, the business isn't Native-owned. It might be time to reconsider that branding choice.

After watching Sooooo many pizza reviews, we decided to try the Neapolitan style pizza. Thin crust and cooked in a wood fire oven. So.... First and foremost pizza was good. Being a Neapolitan style, I was expecting a bit more crunch with the slight char. The tomato sauce was very good. You could tell it was fresh crushed tomatoes and basil. Bartender and our waiter were awesome. Talked to us about the local brewery, the styles of pizza, etc. very friendly and cooperative with all the questions we had. We were both pleasantly surprised by this local downtown place. Good atmosphere and good food. A must try when downtown Chattanooga. They do offer Detroit style and New York style pizza as well. It all depends on the way YOU like your pizza cooked! VERY good pizza! I would probably give this pizza, on a pizza scale; an 8.2 which is pretty high. A little flop on the crust, but the crunch, char and the amazing tomato sauce, partnered with the atmosphere and friendly staff made it a must visit pizza place! We finished it off with the local made gelato. I had milk and honey and my wife had chocolate. Both were very flavorful and refreshing on this very hot day. Community Pizza is fitting as everyone either in or around this community should stop by and try this pizza! Thanks for a great afternoon experience!

For three dollars, it just seemed too good to pass up. It came out looking great...but, three or four bites in, I felt something was off. Then it hit me! There was no flavor! It's almost like all you guys got on their case for too much salt, so they removed it from the recipe. lol I also had the adult fried cheese. They were just OK. The dipping sauce was fantastic. I'm not sure why they didn't use that sauce in the DeMarco Pizza. If they did, they did not use nearly enough. I think what I did not like about the fried cheese was that...in my head, I expected something similar to mozzarella sticks with flavorful breading. There was no breading to this...it was like a crisp, if that makes sense. It changed the dynamic. Less of a cheese stick, more of a wonton or empanada. I also love trying new things, so I had the blackberry vinegar drink. I don't know why I thought it sounded good, but it was written in fun, colorful purple chalk as if it was a great thing I needed to try....aaaahhh...marketing mind games strikes again. Maybe it's too sophisticated for me. Place was fun. Service was great. Everybody is super friendly. Very nice vibe to it.

Parking is pretty decent for the area, with at least one handicapped space right in front of the entrance door. Walking in was surprisingly cozy, with wood on the walls and muted colors for the seating. We were greeted on entry and seated quickly. Seating is a mix of tables and booths. Our waitress left menus and took our drink order as we sat down. The menu is rather extensive. The primary cuisine is Mexican, but they also offer traditional recipe pizzas as well as chicken wings. Many dishes are cooked in a wood fired oven. Our drinks came quickly, and we still needed time to make our selections. After a few more minutes, our waitress returned and we placed our orders. We did not receive any salsa and chips for the table, which was a bit surprising for a Mexican restaurant. We decided to order their homemade guacamole to start. The appetizer came out in maybe five minutes. The portion was much smaller than expected, and the guacamole was bland. It needed a good addition of both salt and garlic to improve the flavor. In addition, the chips were straight from the bag, without even being warmed. The food took about ten minutes or so to be brought to the table. The Pollo a la lena is two wood fired pieces of chicken, along with salad, refried beans, and rice. It also comes with your choice of wheat or corn tortillas. The chicken was tender and juicy, very well spiced with additional flavor from the wood oven. The refried beans are not the typical gray mush but actually have noticeable black beans. The rice was typical, but included corn, peas, and carrot pieces for additional flavor. The salad included crisp lettuce and diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos. The corn tortillas are made in house and compared well to the other components of the dish. I would absolutely order this outstanding dish again. The pollo loco was another good dish. The ratio of chicken to rice was good, and the amount of cheese was less than typical, which allowed more of the other flavors to come through. The asada torta was also good. The ingredients were plentiful compared to the bread, and everything seemed fresh and very flavorful. Even the french fries were well made. The chimichanga was the least liked dish, but still tasted good. It was prepared well and had a nice cheese topping. On it's own it would be a good choice, only suffering in comparison to the other outstanding dishes. One word of caution: the salsa accompanying the pollo a la lena and the torta is surprisingly spicy. The heat is deceptive, coming on slowly and lingering awhile. Although I was surprised at first taste, I included it in every bite of chicken, so it is addictive. Based on this visit, I definitely want to try more options from the menu, especially the pizzas.
