The waitress informed me that the pizza was buy one get one so major bonus right away, One for here and one to go. The pizza came and it was great. Probably 4-5 star pizza. My wife's chicken farm was good but not great. The chicken was a bit overcooked which is why I settled with a 4 rating. I stopped in and ordered takeout but will definitely dine in next time. I ordered 2 pizzas which were buy one get one free! They were excellent and good price for the amount of pizza you get. I also ordered a chicken Parm dinner which came with spaghetti. The chicken Parm was excellent and the portion was huge. I had more than enough for lunch the next day and it was only $12! I was visiting family/friends whom recently bought a home in this little town. We were between shopping and a dinner later on so we popped in here for a quick light bite. I have to be up front and be honest I don't eat pizza so I ordered a sandwich. Everyone in my group selected the pizza buffet. I'm a New Yorker and I'm still price shocked at many things southern! So in 2021 where in all the small towns in the world can you get all you can eat pizza buffet for less than $10 that's decent? Here obvi! Everyone very much enjoyed the quick snack. $12 pizza buffet/salad bar was actually pretty good. Now, weather or not the pizzas come in frozen or not eh I don't know, think smaller Costco pizza...same crust, same sauce, and definitely same cheese. They even send them out on those cardboard circles which is a big indicator. But I love Costco pizza so I can't complain and I enjoyed it. Salad bar had huge chucks of feta so just a cup of feta like that you'd be paying $12.99 at the store. The salad bar is small but had a decent basic selection. Ranch is great and they have those good pickles! The fried mushrooms don't have a lot of flavor but we're great too. I'll definitely be back! read more

This is my favorite go to for pizza in North Georgia. The pies are fresh and tasty, the service is great and as for the price? Fantastic! They do a two for one deal that just adds to my happiness when ordering! They also do calzones, Stromboli, and so much more, they also have a salad bar and a pizza bar which are great too. They let you know up front when ordering the bars that if you don't see a pizza you want on there then let them know and they will make it and put it on there, nice?!? Tonight we tried a few appz The mozzarella sticks definitely seemed frozen and store bought. No flavor. Super firm and not fresh. Same goes for the dipping sauce. Totally some canned tomato paste. Also tried the fried pickles. I'd say save your money on both. Over fried. Bland. No flavor at all. I really want a great local pizza option. Their food feels like what you see when you walk in. Horrible experience. The service was absolutely appalling. Our server was rude to us from the second we walked in, but was nice to everyone else? This food was not even what I would consider decent. If I wanted a digiorno pizza, I would've just got one from Walmart and went home! No wonder the place was basically empty. Everyone working was just standing around doing nothing while our drinks got low. I am a server and I know most places don't let their employees just stand around, so i'm assuming management here isn't great. Be careful when tipping based on the handset where you sign for credit charges because it highly over calculates or almost doubles the calculated tip estimates. We noticed on a total for $30 it saying a 20% tip was nearly $10. We told the cashier and she said that the tip calculator is messed up. So if that's the case, we recommend that you enter the tip manually because it is plainly wrong and they are aware of the issue and said nothing ahead of time. Gross! This is the worst Italian food I've ever had. I'm guessing everything is canned or frozen. The people were very friendly, but I'll never eat here again. We both had very bad food. Neither of could finish our food. We actually went somewhere else to get more food. We had to wait 5-10 minutes to get seated, at least ten minutes for her to ask us what we wanted to drink and even longer for plates for the buffet. This place was overall a huge disappointment. I'll say the positive note first, the actual setting of the restaurant is really nice, the decor is nice as well. The service was greatly lacking, we were the only customers in the restaurant and they still took forever to come get our order and we actually had to ask them for menus, straws, salad dressing, because the waitress was extremely forgetful. The food wasn't the worst food I've had in the area, the pizza is definitely a step up from Dominos, but just one step. I honestly would be shocked if they made their own crust, I think that they bring it in. They are an "Italian" restaurant and yet they have a lot of hamburgers on their menu, probably as many as they do pastas, which are located in the "dinner" section of the menu instead of the pasta section. They had very few pastas to choose from and the pasta that I got was flavorless and lack luster. I know this criticism is rough, but it's really just a plea to shape up so that we can have a great Italian and pizza restaurant in the area!!!! We were staying at a local hotel overnight. Usually when we do this we go to the Mexican place in town but it was closed. This Italian restaurant was really good for a small little town. My husband had the calzone and really liked it. My Greek salad and Gyro plate were also very good. The salad was fresh and tasty. It did have water at the bottom of the bowl and it only had one square of feta, though it was great to have green pepper and cucumbers in the salad. Our iced teas were also good. But the best part were my fries...they were excellent!!! I wish the restaurant was a little cleaner but we had a great server, good food and will be back again! read more

For what is worth the Chicken Stir was very good and salty. Just enough food - very tasty and the bread was a great surprise. The place seems clean, I've only been once and would return for sure. I was plesantly surprised by this place. It's a small, casual place to eat but the food was very good. I'm not normally in Ringgold but visited this place due to being a member of Tradebank which is a barter organization and this restaurant is a member. There is another Portofino's that I visited recently as well, but the two places have different owners (used to be the same) and do not have 100% identical items. This restaurant as mentioned is small, casual and very informal, almost like a diner. But I love places like this when I'm looking for this kind of food. Everything we tried was very good except for one small item. We first tried bread sticks with marinara. They make their own pizza dough so this was that dough cut and baked into bread sticks. Typical and basic but was pretty much perfect as far as bread sticks go LOL. So soft on the inside with a nice chew on the outside. BUT the dipping sauce was not good at all. It tasted like a thick tomato soup. No seasoning at all. Up next was hot wings. They were not battered but perfectly cooked. The skin was crispy and delicious. The hot wing sauce was unique. I could not tell if it was from scratch or if they took an existing sauce and added to it. In either case it was very good. They have mild and hot. We ordered hot but they seemed very mild. That was OK. Again, very delicious. Finally we split a stromboli. YES!!! AND, they also have cal-zones!!! So many places think they are the same and will interchange the two names no matter what's inside, but this place knows there's a difference. We had a steak stromboli and it was SO good. The steak just melted in your mouth it was so tender. There was a very generous amount of steak as well. Two people can eat one of these and be full. Since we had already tried other things, we couldn't finish it and it was great reheated at home later that night. Also worth mentioning is they have gyros CONES!!! This is very rare in this area. Most places selling gyros have frozen slices of gyro meat that are reheated. After being spoiled on gyros sliced from a cone on my trips to Indiana, I had to get one to go. We reheated it for my youngest daughter at home and she said it SO delicious. The prices are very reasonable. They have a TINY buffet table for pizza but it was still appealing. It's more of 'all the pizza you can eat' instead of a typical buffet. When we were there, they didn't put up pizza until someone ordered the buffet first and then would keep checking with the customers who had the buffet if they were ready for more pizza to be cooked and what kind they wanted. It didn't take long at all for more hot pizza to come out when they were ready. The pizza looked delicious. Lots of toppings and generous with the cheese. I will definitely go out of my way to eat here again. read more
