They no longer have prices on their street signs, and I know why. We went a few days ago to get some last minute fruits and veggies. $2.99 for celery. Down the street at Seattle Market it was $1.99, and at WinCo $1.29 $2.29 for a medium avocado. 89 cents at QFC a mile away. $3.49 for brussel sprouts. $1.99 at WinCo. The days of never waiting in line behind 1 or 2 people are also gone. As much as it would be nice to support local businesses, paying at least $10 more to buy 3 items is not not worth it. 2 stars because the fruits and veggies are fresh.

Finding the Pacific Coast Fruit Company has been a godsend since I juice so much. I'm so grateful…read morethat they do cash pickups for the community!! Although it is a bit inconvenient that the pickup time is during my work hours, I am able to have someone with a flexible schedule pick them our orders for us. The staff was all very friendly and I even got help with carrying the heavy load out to my car. The cash pick up door is on the corner on the backside of the building, near the retention pond. Please keep up the good work with letting the community order in bulk :)

We have had problems getting our other fruit vendors to bring us whip cream for a while now, but after speaking up and letting Gloria know that there is a competition out there that is willing to bring us whip cream, she stood up for her company and began bringing us awesome whip cream. There are always a time when the season isn't right, Gloria will always keep us updated on what is going on and she takes ownership when the fruit isn't up to par. She has been amazing and we hope to work with her for a long time at Pacific Coast.

For special occasions, like Mother's Day, you can email to order ahead adding special requests for featured colors and blooms. That day, they have many extra hands arranging beautiful bouquets. They were flat priced at $25 per. Usually, you can get a variety of bouquets that range between $15-$30. Just depends on the offerings that day. I haven't tried their produce or plants, but all looks fresh!

And the third fuyu has a super thick tough skin and inside was bland as well. The two hachiya persimmons we bought at $4 each was so high in tannins it sucked the moisture right out our mouths and were absolutely inedible. Even on this gray, rainy day the colors of the produce were bright and vibrant. It's so much more fun picking fruits and vegetables outdoors than in a fluorescently lit grocery store. The staff running the stand were welcoming and excited to be there. They do provide bags but it's always good to bring reusable ones from home. You'll see advertisement and directional signs off Meeker Street and on the Green River trail. There is free parking in front of the farm stand and a free parking lot just north of the Meeker Street bridge. I love supporting local businesses and I'm glad I can support our local farmers too.
