So glad we discovered this cute destination restaurant and market! First off was amazing customer…read moreservice, a great variety menu of smoked meats, plates, sandwiches, loaded potatoes and salmon (of course;). The smoker is onsite and all ingredients sourced from local farm or markets in the area. The owner Frank was very friendly gave some great suggestions even checked on us with drink refills. Such great service so rare anymore. We had the most amazing 3 cheese mac and cheese with Brisket the small was big enough! I'm so glad I up'd my salmon kiesh meal to also include the side of the salmon chowder. It was definitely the best chowder I've ever had, complete with flaked smoked salmon on top of a creamy and hearty salmon w/ potato soup. We were so full after our meal I would not normally order dessert. However, he did recommend that we may want to try his wifes amazing homemade carrot cake with the cream cheese icing (which I prefer over an overly sugary one) I am so glad we ordered a slice to go. I ended up having that for breakfast the next morning with coffee and it was out of this world so moist with crunchy nuts on the cream cheese icing. Yum! The cafe is located in downtown Chehalis, which is a cute town. They are completing updates to their 100yr old building. They have an upstairs loft with video games and a dozen tables connected to an artesian market downstairs, think gourmet foods, mead, craft items, fancy bloody mary mix, and they also sell smoked salmon, smoked cheeses in their cooler. I will definitely be back when heading thru Chehalis. What a find!

When Shop and Kart bought it I thought great. Started going again then it became really dirty in the Bakery. So I stopped going. So I figured I give it a try again since Winco in Centralia. I was surprised by the cake I bought, the Bakery was clean again. The customer service was fanstastic in the meat department Cory helped me and could answer my questions about the meat. He was so pleasant and didnt make me feel like im bothering him. He knows his product unlike Winco the meat department tells me they dont grade there meat? I was in the Hospitality Food Industry 55 years and my father was a Chef who owned and ran Restaurants. He would have laughed at the man at Winco...I was surprised how nice the cashier was and not making me wait in line and it was only one in front of me. That happen both times I went in.. Thats customer service again... Most stores dont care how long your waiting as you look at the employees standing. I will be going back to Fullers again due to new owners knowing how important customer service is and knowledge of products sold. The cashier who help me was the lady who helped me always at Shop and Kart who was always very nice, she older like myself. Her and Cory brought me back and the Baker who took my cake order over the phone. Desiree Casey

They are patient with any questions you might have and always accepting of some taste tests of their selections. They take pride in their products and actively help to sustain the bee population in the area and are supportive of environmental causes. There are so many varieties of honey they sell that I can't list them all, but some of my favorites are the Local Centralia/Chehalis Blend, WA Wildfire, WA Clover, WA Fireweed, and WA Blueberry. The teas, soaps, and incense that are stocked are also wonderful - with plenty of selections for everyone ... you can definitely find something you like. Take the time to enjoy the shop, try some of the free tastes, and walk out with a sweet treat made from local bees. Love it!
