We were looking at all the sweet treats and settled on 6 milk chocolate peanut butter cups for 60 cents each. I enjoyed them, but it would have been an extra bonus if they had used sea salt like they did with different items and charged a touch more. Everything was reasonably priced and they had some unique items, like chocolate covered orange peels. If you're looking for some nuts, chocolate or gummies for your significant other and are in the Kalamazoo area I'd come in and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

I normally love chocolate dipped pretzels but the coating on those and the graham crackers is way too thick, disappointing. The whole point is to have the contrast between the crunch and the chocolate. The prices are reasonable and the woman who helped me was very nice. I would stop in again to try some other things.

They also offer single servings of all sort of teas and coffee drinks! They offer a quaint little area to enjoy your treats if you'd like to stay for a visit with a friend! There is also a nice outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice! The dessert case is truly something to behold - so many wonderful looking treats! We also saw a menu with some other food items available such as quiches or sandwiches. The staff were extremely helpful with all of our questions - very friendly and kind! We spoke to staff, and they confirmed this was an issue with this batch. I left messages four times over two months for the owner, and she didn't call until today. She said that since it had been two months, she wouldn't refund the $18 we paid. We, once loyal customers, won't be back. In good conscience, we cannot support a business that doesn't respond to a customer's repeated attempts at communication to resolve a simple issue. So sad to see a business with a good product run so poorly without recognizing the importance of customer service at its heart.

The popcorn, available in both sweet and savory flavors, tastes great--much better than that break-your-teeth stuff you can buy in bulk at the grocery store. Around $3-$6 for a small bag that one person could finish by himself, the offerings are pricey. Again, I only shop here for special occasions. I love that they also carry a small selection of specialty sodas. I drink pop almost never, but if I see a unique flavored pop in a bottle, I'm suddenly all about it. Here I've found Jones Soda flavors I've never seen before. They also sell greeting cards. See? A very present-friendly place. I've always received excellent customer service. The employees are friendly and available to answer questions. You are able to sample any of their popcorn flavors. I do wish they were more proactive about serving their caramel apples though. I bought one and asked "Can you cut it up?" The employee responded, "Yes, that's how I'd eat it." You missed my point, sir; I wanted to know if you could physically cut my apple so that I could conveniently eat it on my way home. Oh well.

We happened to be in town during lunch time so Nate and I stopped in for a quick bite. Their lunch menu includes some sandwiches, a couple salads, pizza, soup, and quiche. I got the ham and cheese sandwich, and Nate got an 8" pizza. The food came out pretty quickly, and I liked the sandwich. It had plenty of mayo and thickly sliced ham and cheese. It came with a little cup of pickled veggies, which I enjoyed. I had a bite of the pizza, which was very tasty! The prices were great - I think my sandwich was $7.50. We also got some pastries for dessert - I chose the cherry danish, and Nate got the pistachio croissant. Both were very tasty and not too sweet. The vibe of this bakery is more old-school and homey than some of the more "trendy" bakeries that I'm used to - not a bad thing, just a little different. They sell loaves of bread, cookies, and pastries. I loved their merch, too - cute pins, hats, tote bags, etc. They have brunch every Sunday and they were swapping out some art while we were there.
