    The garbage they are pushing.

DON'T WASTE YOIR MONEY HERE. The the produce supposedly due to COVID so you can't inspect it. They place the fruit in bowls showing the good side and your chose the bowl. Then they immediately dump the fruit into a bag and keep it behind the counter until you pay. When you are able to inspect it you find the fruit is bruised and in terrible condition. The the fruit was $5 for a bag and all unusable as you can see from the photo. The garlic is super expensive at $8 for a bowl of super small bulbs and $19 for a braid. The Advocado's they advertise are kept behind the counter so you have to ask about them. They are so tiny that we didn't bother buying them for the 10 for $1 (some reviews said they may advertise 13 for $1 at time) that they advertise to fish you into the stand. Maybe they just make up the prices when you are there because the fruit and garlic have no posted prices. Con me once and everyone is going to know about it.

This was a good place we stopped off at before hitting Casa De Fruita on the way from Nor Cal to So Cal. The guy was really friendly. The selection was limiited to a degree But, overall it was a mini-farmer's market where we wanted to support local businesses and merchants like this.

We stopped here because this kiosk is strategically located with a huge sign. $1 for 10 avocados! On closer inspection, the avocados were little and did not look very good so I skipped buying them. I bought a jar of their pure wild mountain honey for $8.99. It isn't local honey but it's still tasty and a good price for unprocessed honey. Also picked up a bag of garlic which was a great buy. The garlic was fresh.

I haven't stopped here for such a long time, I usually just go for the renaissance fair, but by the…read moretime we're done, I'm tired and the heat got to me, so I don't feel like shopping. Since we were going to LA early in the morning, this trip experience turned out rather fruitful! Hee. (Sorry- too corny- but I had to do it!). My Fiancé got to taste the Fruit Wines, he sipped one and was able to give me the rest, since he was driving. Hee. The BlackBerry wine was my favorite as well as the sour- pucker-ness of the raspberry fruit wine, but there was something different on my plate for both these fruited wines that just didn't sit well with me..... then I tasted the Mango- and I was SOLD! I got a bottle of the mango wine and some mango dried fruit as my fiancés sister bought every jam and/or jell she could find with a unique flavor! Haha! I think we spend around $120! Hahaha I definitely want to go back and get some more fruit wines! We just didn't have enough space since we were heading to LA for the weekend of exploring! I couldn't very well load up the whole SUV at our first stop! We weren't even in LA county lines! Haha!

They have multiple outlets, each with a different purpose (listed below with notes from our previous visits. Scroll down to Casa de Burrito to see why we really love this place!) : * Casa de Fruit Stand Cute little market; featuring local goods, including fruit, fresh lavender, pickled veggies, candies, jams, and gifts. * Casa de Cabins, Inn & RV Park I've never stayed here, so can't share many thoughts on this but I think name is a pretty clear. * Casa de Wine & Deli Wine/gift shop with a deli that makes custom sandwiches to order. * Casa de Sweets Candy & ice cream shop * Casa de Restaurant Despite several visits to the property, we've yet to dine-in at the restaurant, especially since we are usually travelling with dogs and looking for more of a to-go option for our meals. * Casa de Train & Carousel Train & Carousel rides for the kiddos~ Not available in weather exceeding 95 degrees, or when its raining. * Casa de Diesel/Chevron Gas station with a diesel side for large trucks * Casa de Burrito This is our favorite part of Casa de Fruta -- and its actually not for the burritos, but for the Tri-tip Sandwich Served on a butter roll, with your choice of spicy or sweet barbeque sauce (we like to ask for a mix of both!) Located inside of the Chevron station, definitely a must-try! The space overall is cutesy and reminiscent of a farm-stand, with family-friendliness in mind. The staff are always kind & helpful. What more could you ask for? Take a visit to Casa de Fruta (and try the Tri-tip Sandwich!!)
