Mamy's Fruit Stand has an almost tropical setup on the side of the road. I really enjoyed shopping at this fruit stand. Selection on cherries and stone fruit were good. They have a good variety of loose garlic and garlic braids and their garlic were were all very fresh and solid. Prices are all comparable and either reasonable or as low as the other nearby fruit stands. They also have flavored nuts and honey and honeycomb. What I loved was that you can shop under the shade. Their fruits are fresh, full bodied and well organized. The cherries I bought here were large and 1/3 cheaper for the same amount when comparing with a nearby stand. The $6 basket I got here was priced at $9 down the road. Definitely worth taking a look if you are doing fruit and produce shopping!

There are bunch of fruit stands all over this stretch of highway, but this one has horses you can feed. I like horses, and I like eating fruit, so this is definitely a fun way to kill two birds with one stone. (Horse tips are encouraged, per posted sign). In addition to the abundant selection of fruit and vegetables, they also have a large variety of dried (and bathed in sugar) fruit strips. I spent $20 for 3 baskets of strawberries, a basket of plums, a basket of huge apricots/peaches, and some strips of dried mango. I was on a record pace back to SF, so I decided that a strawberry and dried mango meal would hold me over until dinner at home. The strawberries were amazing, and the only part more fun than eating 2 baskets full was slinging the stems (technically called peduncles) from the driver's seat out of the passenger window (I was 35 for 36!)

Large baskets of several kinds of fruit for $5, or smaller baskets for $3. The cherries are slightly more expensive by $1/basket.

My job had me there at around 7pm on a Wednesday evening. I saw a steady flow of medical staff getting food, so i decided to stop and check out the menu. So, it's a Mexican food truck that also has a limited menu of hotdogs and hamburgers. I decided to try a Super Burrito. Hmm, no prices on the menu, so I had to ask. The young lady had to look it up, and said "$14.58." She said they only have beef or chicken. I ordered beef with everything on it. The lady confirmed a Super Burrito with everything. Cash or charge is okay. After a few minutes, they hand me a huge foil wrapped burrito. Nice and hot, with napkins and sauces. I got it home, cut it in half, and it seemed to be missing sour cream and salsa. It's mostly rice, beef, and cilantro. It was somewhat dry and flavorless. It needed the sauce to make it taste better. Not much beans, or cheese. I believe they served me a regular burrito. Not sure what the price difference is because there were no prices on the menu. I won't be ordering from this food truck again.

But you are really stopping in for their tri tip sandwhich, at least thats what we did. And ordered THAT and then some garlic fries...oh and the tri tip tacos...oh wait, i want the COWBOY BURGER! This was our stop in lunch on a Tuesday cause my wige and I just happened to be in the area like that. And i must say that this place is definitely worth the reason. Their tri tip sammy is their staple order and promo off their website...which i thpught tasted pretty good, but i personally like my tri tip usually NOT in a sandwhich mode . Their garlic fries were awesome, very close to ballpark flavor. The tacos tasted very good and were presented well. My holler will be for that cowboy burger. At order, i asked for the meat to be medium rare...this burger came out fat! Had some onion rings in it, some bacon, and the patty was so buttery that i smashed this mofo in like 3 minute, 1 breath kind of ish...it was THAT good! ...washed em all down with a couple glasses of water. Overall...we will be back here again the next time we are down but in order ahead and take it to go form since it is made to order meal. I recommend yall do the same

This all started when my dad was looking for a venue to have a big party . We were lucky to found this location . We rented the whole restaurant it's a very large space our package included food with three kinds of meats rice and beans . It came with tortillas and two types of salsas. It also included sodas waters and three kinds of aguas frescas . My dad had an open bar the options for drinks for his guest were Margaritas, Centenario, Palomas, and beers . If his guest wanted something different they would have to pay for it . Everyone really enjoyed the food and drinks . This was a big party I think we had around 180 guest there was a lot of planing involved .. I was in contact with Irma the restaurants party coordinator and she was amazing !!! she made this stress free we talked about the decor and food . She was there to help and answered all the questions we had . She even helped me get in contact with the lady that did our cake which got delivered to the venue . Thank you so much Irma for your help . I have to say everyone working that night was amazing from the bartenders to the people serving the food. Los Cuates has a great team . My dad got músicos which is a live band and the party ended at 12am . They set up the party for us and they cleaned up after it was so convenient . Overall I highly recommend this venue if you are looking to have a big party or need to rent out a space this is perfect . It was stress free and we felt like we just enjoyed our party since we did not have to host and cater to people everything was taken care of for us . My dad had an amazing 80th Birthday we got to see all our family and it was a great turn out.!

There's a sign that says "Wait to be seated", but no one came out to seat us and a group of people walked past us to go inside, were sat right away. A girl who sat us ended up being our server but took a very long time for her to come back out to even take our drink orders. I had to ask the guy bringing water and tortilla chips who our server was. Once our server arrived she was very nice and answered our menu questions. I ordered the the spicy Mamacita and my friend ordered the pina colada. Both drinks looked cool but mine was very sweet, not really spicy at all and was tiny for $15. I think I mostly paid for the presentation part...flower, popsicle, etc. We both ordered the 3 taco trio and the food came out before long. I had a mahi mahi, carne asada and a taco macho. Again, the food wasn't that great: rice and beans had an off flavor, octopus was chewy in the taco macho, and the mahi was a bit fishy. We took half our food to go and checked out. All in all I would not come back unless it was out of convenience due to the location. The food and drinks have a nice presentation, but the taste of everything wasn't there for me. Although our server was really nice and my friend and I were busy chatting, the service was slow.

It's a shame the place isn't nearly as good as it was when it first opened. The food always looks great, but the flavors are average, and the cooks can be inconsistent. You might get a great meal one day and a very "mid" one the next. If you want an aguachile that's not too spicy, the aguachile de tamarindo is a solid choice, while the mango habanero has a nice kick. The tacos are consistently good. I'd stay away from the salmon--it was overcooked--and the pasta was too greasy. The calamari bites are on the small side but have a satisfying crunch. Services was excellent.

I have been in contact and working the details out with Irma she has been very helpful with organizing everything for the special day! We can not wait !! We came to have lunch here since I was in town and it was all party talk and organizing. The prices are very reasonable and the portions sizes WOW massive ! The waiter gave us our complementary chips and salsa the table salsa was very tasty . All the food was very delicious with authentic flavors. My mom order the Mole Chicken Enchiladas which I had to take a bite of it and the mole is just amazing. My dad ordered the Quesabirria tacos they are 3 huge tacos with the consomé to dip them in. ordered the Al pastor quesadilla it comes with two salsas, avocado, sour cream, and pico de gallo on the plate . They also have a kids menu. We ordered my nephew, a cheeseburger and fries. Our waiter that helped us that day was Valeria she was super friendly and attentive. Everyone had a smile on their faces it was a great vibe . They had Mexican music playing in the background, not too loud just perfect for a conversation with family and friends . We were here during happy hour which is $7 for cocktails and $3 beers. We ordered the Paloma and the margarita HH each were $7 normally $12 we also got the Mega Mimosa which is $35 it's a whole bottle of champagne with the juice of your liking. We shared that ! It's big lol . By the bar area I seen a display of the Margarita Flight and the Aguas Locas Flight the Agua Locas are Mexican agua frescas with alcohol. Both seem to be $35 dollars.
