The property is stunning -- each room uniquely styled with international flair, from Italian and Spanish to French and even Dubai-inspired décor. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a pool area that instantly transported us to Tuscany. There were plenty of loungers for relaxing by the sparkling swimming pool, plus a generously sized hot tub to unwind in. The staff truly elevated our stay -- warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special shoutout to Rosalina, who was an absolute gem. She made us feel so welcome and even surprised us with a homemade tres leches cake to celebrate one of our friend's birthdays. That personal touch meant the world. We dined at the property one evening; the meal was enjoyable, though not quite exceptional. Still, the ambiance of the mansion more than made up for it. Located about 20 minutes outside downtown Walla Walla, Cameo Heights offers a peaceful retreat -- serene, secluded, and blissfully quiet. The only trade-off is the drive to and from wine tastings, which can feel a bit long at times. But once you're back, it's pure tranquility.

The mansion itself is gorgeous along with the salt water pool and botanicals. There was an accident that had caused some water to come into the room. Not a big deal to us at all, it was very minor. The owner was so kind and gave us an additional night for free! We got to really enjoy the mansion since we had another night. We took bubble baths, watched movies, played ping pong, and ate dinner at The Vine fine dining restaurant (my review for how amazing it was is separate from this one). We loved how calm and quiet everything was as there were no children allowed either. The wake up service was great AND the coffee was so good which is unheard of at most hotels. ;) Breakfast was indescribable, OMG!!! Top shelf chefs are employed here! Michelle and Jessica were very kind and accommodating during our trip. Overall a much needed stay that was absolutely perfect.

The barn is an amazing place, you can tell Naina and Anand have traveled and make sure you take time to visit with them. We stayed in the Silo, beautifully decorated, wine cooler in a wine barrel, big out door shower we used everyday, big comfy bed with extra pillows plenty of room to hang out in. Coffee/tea bar has everything you need. We played bocce ball, hung out in the evening in the barn to play games with friends and one day we came back to the b&b early just to swim in the very clean pool for the rest of the day. Close to town, but yet far enough to be very private. Naina and Anand set us up with 7 wineries which were wonderful. They have great recommendations for wineries and restaurants. I highly recommend staying at The Barn B&B, set aside some time to enjoy this beautiful, well designed, 5 star B&B.

You will need to drive to the estate wineries - but exploring Main street is a FLIPPIN' BLAST- especially on bikes! Penny is a delight! She is so knowledgable about where to go and knows everyone in town. She is so thoughtful and has thought of every detail for her guests. Her bathroom is stocked with beautiful lavendar bath salts and lotions! The place smells like fresh baked cookies, probably because she just baked them! She has coffee service set out and her etiquite is from the 'good ol' days' so you feel kinda spoiled using a teacup with a nice little spoon to stir your milk that you have poured from a petite milk creamer jar. Penny takes care of the entire place and you can tell she puts her heart into it. Penny cooks a lavish breakfast every morning. Save up your calories for her breakfast. Her beds and bedding are very comfortable....and so so much lovelier than staying at a hotel. My husband and I have come to love Penny and have been staying there for three years. She is now like family to us! She deserves ONLY good people staying here, so if you are a good, decent, kind person, you should stay at Penny's Maxwell House!

We usually get a breakfast, sometimes continental, sometimes a full breakfast. For instance, the large suite we booked in Walnut Creek last week included a concierge lounge, which had snacks and drinks all day long. With this booking, all you get is the room, which is a very nice room by the way. Okay, they did give us some certificates for free pancakes in the morning or a free dessert for dinner. I used one once. There is an icebox down the hallway with pre-bagged ice that fills the rooms' ice buckets. Room service is available. The property is located adjacent to the Columbia Point Marina Park, a nice boat landing and beautiful park. A few restaurants are nearby within walking distance. There's a 24-hour Winco just down the street, which is very handy. Our suite included a wet bar, microwave and refrigerator. Two bathrooms was a must for us, which is one of the reasons we booked this room. Even the guest bath has a shower, which is very nice. The bedroom has a sliding door that closes off the living area. The room includes a gas fireplace, which was very nice to have. There's a good sized balcony with a perfect river/park view, two chairs and a table. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Be careful of their Riva restaurant, it's kind of weird. I've never had an untraditional lox bagel sandwich like theirs, and I didn't like it. They also thinly sliced and cooked the ham until it was brown! Whoever heard of brown ham? You might want to ask them how things are prepared before you order. The elevators are as slow as possible; even slower. We had some issues with our room. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was extremely loud, but they were able to fix that upon our request. The toilet seat in the guest bath is almost falling off. No matter what we tried, the main bathroom shower leaked all over the floor and onto the bedroom carpeting. And, the television is full of large white dots all over the place. The front desk said they are already aware of the television issues, and are working on replacing them. You can search YouTube for "Room 233 at the Lodge at Columbia Point" to see my video of the room. The bed was very comfortable, and they gave us nice pillows. The wet bar included paper towels, real dishes and silverware. The couch folds out to a bed. There are no electrical plug outlets or USB ports at the side tables near the bed; that wasn't good. The suite included robes. Our room was quiet throughout our five night stay.
