Came in for dinner while on a business trip as it came highly recommended by clients. I had been talking all day and asked if they could make a hot toddy and it was probably one of the best I've ever had! So good I got a second! I was also in the mood for a healthy dinner and the seared tuna salad hit the spot! The servers were friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The people watching was great as I got there just before it got really busy!

This place stands out due to its ambiance and excellent service and food. We normally sit at the bar and order the delicious smoked salmon and something to drink. This time we had the vegan burger and some sparkling water. Even though they were very busy the servers were great and the food delicious and fresh. Will come back every time I am in Denver!!

No Hats No hats in the dining area, but you can wear them at the bar. Food and service are always incredible. The chicken and ribeye are delicious! Try the seared ahi tuna salad and salmon with toast points for appetizers. Avoid the filet mignon - it's so thick it doesn't translate well.

Had the most amazing birthday lunch here. The food was delicious and our server Kirk was amazing. The dirty martinis are to die for!

My sister loves to go here almost every time we are in the cherry creek area. It is a fancy place and great from an upscale date. The servers are incredible! The menu is diverse and I haven't had a single thing I do not like on there. When they have the artichoke it is a must have!

Stopped in on a whim and was very impressed. Service was phenomenal, our servers worked together to make the dinning experience great! It's cherry creek prices but you're definitely going to get good food. Finally a nice day we sat on the patio and it was gorgeous with the elegant music playing in the background. Jumbo Shrimp was actually jumbo and both cocktail sauces were delicious. I CANNOT say enough about the Jackrabbit cocktail! Im coming back just for this! Duo Dip is a different take on queso (think palmetto ball) & guacamole. If you aren't afraid of spice, order this! Deviled Eggs come with 3 1/2 eggs and is on the mustard side but for someone who doesn't like mustard, I still enjoyed this.

Ask the Community - Cherry Creek Grill

Is there still parking in back?

The parking is just the regular street parking for the Cherry Creek outdoor shopping center. There are paid lots available if you can't find street parking. During the week day you can usually find something but on the weekend make sure you plan…

Is there a happy hour before dinner?

    Unfortunately they do not.

    Is the cornbread back?

Yes and it's not the amazing cornbread they had before. Now they give you small bits of dry cornbread and over charge you for it!

We had an amazing dinner at Local Jones (LJs) at the Halcyon Hotel, visiting on the second night of their new menu, and they absolutely nailed it. Our party of four was impressed from start to finish. The staff was outstanding--knowledgeable, prompt, and attentive without ever hovering. It felt like they truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. The food was excellent across the board. My New York strip was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The rest of our group loved their dishes just as much--the mussels, shepherd's pie, and braised short ribs all got rave reviews. It's not often that four totally different entrées are all home runs, but LJs pulled it off. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. We will definitely make LJs a regular stop whenever we're in Denver. Highly recommend!

The price was a bit high, but the quality of the meal was spot on. I had the seared scallops with celery root puree, pomegranate seeds, cous cous, and toasted hazelnuts. Divine. My husband had the filet mignon with Bearnaise sauce, and roasted potatoes and asparagus. Also amazing. Both dishes per cooked to perfection. All employees were professional and our server was friendly. The atmosphere was lovely--clean, warm, inviting. It was an interesting journey to find the bathroom. It's shared with other parts of the building and was the only thing that needed attending. Four stars for the messy bathrooms, price being quite high, and it was a 2 hour and 45 min dinner. Took forever. I've never had so many glasses of water in my life in such a short period of time. If you can afford it, I would certainly say the food was almost worth it--desserts were just okay, and one of the appetizers was alright.

By now, average foodies have experienced what Culinary Dropout is all about and yet I humbly and honestly admit the fact that I was a virgin until I for the first time experienced it today on July 16, 2026. In a way, it was like celebrating a super belated birthday of someone I know. This Denver location is rightfully located in this one of the newly developed residential areas that used to be a desert (lol!!) With a blink of an eye, all sorts of businesses popped up within the last 5-10 years or so. First and foremost, what a spacious restaurant this is! Very modern with some casual sense but upscale at the same time. All 5 of us were taken all the way back to the u-shaped booths that is at the "Converse sneaker" decorated wall near the restrooms. Our waiter was John. His impeccable friendliness with expert-level server skills was quite notable. His timeliness in giving us a moment or two so we could decide what to drink/eat, checking back on us to see how everything was tasting etc. was almost AI-driven accuracy. For food and drinks, I am just going to speak just for myself. I got... -Vida Verdita which is a non-alcoholic cocktail that has a good amount of kick in it with pineapple with green appearance and -Roasted Salmon; the portion is a bit small and yet overall it tasted good with perfect medium-ness. Vida Verdita is one of the best NA drinks I've ever had in a while. This minimal consequence beverage is $9 as of mid-July 2026. If you want to steer clear of being drunk but want some energized push to get your night going then I highly recommend this NA drink. Roasted Salmon, on the other hand, was lacking exceptional quality for the price of $31. It wasn't bad as it was prepared in the perfect medium texture but I found it a bit boring so if spending $30+ on a mediocre plate is your pet peeve, then this "run of the mill" dish should be avoided. I feel that they should add more ingredients such as broccolini (yes, something green (not just some cilantro leaves) needs to be added to the plate.) In conclusion...did I walk away being super impressed after dining at Culinary Dropout Denver tonight? No, not really. And yet I wasn't disappointed either. Overall, my experience tonight sits somewhere between 3.5 and 4 star level. It was an occasion for our monthly "girls' get-together" and it's my understanding that we will meet at this place next month again. I will thus explore more on the menu by trying something different.

I'm glad our first experience ended up being at the Denver location because it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant has a more upscale feel than a lot of places around Denver, but it's still comfortable and welcoming. We started with the grilled artichokes, which were outstanding. They're a fun appetizer to share and pick at while waiting for your entrées, and the dipping sauce was incredible. For my main course, I ordered the cheeseburger with the coleslaw, and it was fantastic. I've been on a mission to find the best restaurant cheeseburger in Denver, and this one immediately jumped near the top of my list. The burger was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and the coleslaw was a great complement. My fiancée ordered one of the salads and really enjoyed it as well. For dessert, we couldn't pass up the brownie. Since it was my birthday, they added a candle to the scoop of ice cream on top, which was a thoughtful touch. The brownie itself was rich, warm, and absolutely top-tier. As someone who loves a good brownie, this one delivered, especially with the nuts on top adding a little extra texture. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our water glasses were constantly refilled before they got low, and one detail that really stood out was when they replaced my martini glass with a freshly chilled one so my drink stayed cold throughout the meal. It's those little touches that make a restaurant memorable. Overall, this was an outstanding birthday dinner, and we can't wait to come back. There were several dishes we want to try, including the Hawaiian ribeye, the barbecue ribs, and more of the salads. Starting with my favorite and the absolute knockout: The Dry-Aged Bistecca Agnolotti. Think of a ravioli pouch, but smaller and better, filled with meat, sitting in a bed of the most perfectly browned brown butter with thick parmesan shaves on top. You think it's over, and then your server comes and pours a sweet yet vinegary reduction on top. I'm actively eating it for breakfast as I write this. Insane. Will be thinking about this for a few days. The others in the group got the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which is one of their most popular dishes. It was good (we swapped bites), but mine was better. For the table we split a Caesar (which I do wish had more dressing, but I love a dressing so that could just be me), filet mignon meatballs (4 in an order which was perfect for our group of 4), and the tuna and avocado carpaccio. Favorites were the meat and fish. We used the bread to sop up the meat sauce at the end. Lastly, the Chicken Parm Pizza was ordered for the table. Basically, the "crust" of the pizza is chicken parm. I think it's a little expensive for what it was, but I'm glad I got to try it with a bigger group. Can't imagine reordering it, solely for the size and cost, but it was a unique food experience. Drinks at the table included a Barbera, a Chardonnay, a Sangria, and a Spritz. All good.
