Don't waste ur time coming here. Though their hours say they open in the morning, they were closed when I showed up at 12pm. Then later around 3pm I happened to be driving by and they looked open, so I figured I'd give it another try. The doors were locked and said to ring the doorbell, after ringing it twice the owner finally decided to get up and open it only to tell me that I cannot come in because the store is "by appointment only". The store was completely empty, yet she wouldn't let me in. I went to this store because I saw a review on Vintage Vortex's page that said Vintage Vortex sucks, and to go to Cherry-pick because it is so much better. Well, after being turned away from Cherry-pick I went back to that review and realized that the lady in the profile pic is the lady who answered the door...the review was made by the owner of this store. So not only is the owner turning away customers, she is dogging other businesses and promoting her store on their yelp pages. Definitely not the kind of person I want to be giving any of my money to.. No where on the website, instagram, or yelp page does it say that this store is by appointment only. I drove 40 mins to get to this store, if there weren't other amazing thrifts in the area this would've been a huge waste of my time. Do not go here. read more

An adorable vintage shop with cool finds. Definitely worth checking out! It's hit or miss, as with many vintage stores, but I appreciate the diverse taste and hodgepodge​ of cool and unique items. It was here that I found two of my most favorite vintage pieces...with the most honorable being a jacket​ that I dubbed, The Prince Jacket. I found any excuse to wear it and welcomed any and every compliment that came from wearing it. I took it with me to London and the jacket led me to an underground rock club (cuz that's​ what Prince Jackets do), where I danced the night away with new friends. One rocker gentleman asked if he could please try on my cool jacket. Obviously flattered, I obliged. He asked for a pic in it, and as he struck a pose, feeling the purple rain energy surge through his veins (am I being dramatic?), he RIPPED it. My heart sunk. Now,​ this is where I was actually dramatic​​, because I couldn't bring myself to dance anymore knowing my jacket wouldn't be dancing with me. I've gotten it fixed twice since said rip and it's holding up alright, but still fragile. It's vintage though, that's what ya get. The Prince Jacket makes an appearance every now and again. But its underground club days are a thing of the past. I guess this review was really just a way for me to commemorate my jacket and to say, "it's in good hands, Cherry Vintage. " It's had a good life, and still gets a social hour now and again. I imagine my prince jacket had quite the wild-life​ in its​ early years, before I​ came into the picture. The only sales associate in the shop did not greet/acknowledge us, but she did find time in-between watching paint dry and dust bunnies forming to enthusiastically greet others that stopped in after us. I'd like to mention we found a used Merona (Target) brand button-up cardigan priced at $45, which should speak volumes about the "cherry-picking" that takes place here. Finally, we headed out the door only to be sent off with only a glare, silence, and a forced smile to remember them by. I look forward to another terse and cold encounter with the privileged "natives" of LA's Cherry Pick Boutique. Here's a tip: if you don't look LA, you won't get help in LA. Take the time and head to Burbank for Besame Cosmetics and Pin-Up Girl Boutique. You'll get your money's worth there. read more

I'm not normally a vintage shopper, but I wanted to get something special for my little sis for Christmas, and I was drawn in by some psychadelic boots I'd seen in the front window for days!! It smelled so nice in there, and there were some cool vintage things on the walls... lots of vintage tee-shirts, boots, hats, and the perfect red and black, 60's vintage print dress for my sister!! The girl at the register said, "Goodbye" to the dress. She picks each piece carefully, and you can tell! I love supporting local shops, but this one was a major let down. First of all, I was told that the clothes were not sorted by size, but rather by visual presentation. You have to do a lot of weeding through small sizes to find anything appropriate. Secondly, not everything in here is true vintage. I would venture to say most of the items are just used clothes from the last few years. I felt like it was more in the style of Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters than Bettie Page or Stop Staring. The young man who was working was more into reading in the corner than helping me. Only if you asked him a direct question would he engage with you and even then he never got up from sitting behind the desk. I do remember him telling a shopper that they don't buy any vintage clothing, so don't bother bringing in your fabulous garments. I like that they have some handmade jewelry pieces and plenty of accessories. I just feel like their prices are a bit high for what you're getting. The shop is also really small and doesn't have the greatest selection. I was also expecting to find some kitschy items with cherries on them since their name is Cherry Pick. That didn't happen. I guess this store is less Katy Perry and more Los Feliz hipster. I give them two stars for less than stellar service, poor selection and unreasonable prices. BTW, while I was in there I overheard a conversation with the salesperson and another shopper. She was trying to exhange a dress that was marked one price and when she wanted to do an even exchange the guy tried to tell her that because she received a discount before, it would not be an even exchange. Not so much. It's one thing that the selection is crappy, and the prices are really high - more like a thrift store with Kitson or Anthro. prices. But the topper to my experience: staff here = super obnoxious. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's obnoxious sales people: like it's my honor to push through their ratty clothes. This boutique is quite small but it is PACKED with an abundance of women's wear. And in a small sliver off to the right hand side of the store you will find the Men's wear. Although the section is small, their quite unique range of blazers, leather and Jean jackets, plaid shirts, and amazing rock band Tee's (Grateful Dead, Aerosmith just to name a few). Make the Men's section definitely worth checking out. Fellas, also in our small section you will find a handful of skinny and bow-ties, sunglasses and work bags (able to at least fit a "15 laptop inside) There are two fitting rooms in this shop. The first, is quite tight, no bigger than ones standard bathroom shower. Cool creative drapes that open and close like theatre curtains. Adds a nice touch to very tight space. Fitting room number two though is an experience worth trying even if you don't plan on purchasing anything! Bigger than some of my previous apartment bedrooms. Inside you'll find a plush throw rug, two leopard print arm chairs (just in case you need critiques or assistance when slipping in and out of clothes). What else am I forgetting???? The glass sliding door factor for this fitting room is also pretty cot damn nice as well. I mean, everyone has been in a fitting room before.....nothing really epic about them. But this one......?! This one is bittersweet because the experience inside is the most relaxing change clothes experience yet once you leave you are once again subjected to the harsh reality of standard fitting room experiences. I mean really.......it is that WORTH it to go just to experience the fitting room IN THE BACK. Fitting room in the front........? Meh. The staff was one lonely soul but very well seasoned in the history of the shop and the items inside (where they came from, what time period, etc.) Extremely friendly staff, ask for Nina (not Mina). They said a steady supply of merch comes through, so I'll be back. read more

I wandered in on a cold rainy day hoping to be cheered up by beautiful vintage clothing and a little shop therapy. Instead I was greeted (or actually NOT greeted) by two blokes behind a desk viewing videos on the internet. No hello, no glance up, nothing even corny about the weather. Oh well, that left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, but I continued to peruse through the shop. And the disappointment continues. I'm an avid collector, so I don't count the 80s or the 90s as vintage which were abundant in supply. There were a few 60s day dresses, a bit granny looking...meh. You can find much better choices elsewhere for about the same price. Maybe their men's selection is better? Moving on. I find a lovely black fur collared coat. No price tag and it wasn't vintage. It was probably from the mid 90s and had the appearance of a vintage 1960s coat. So I wander around the shop looking for a few more things to try on and also to see if the gentlemen at the desk have even noticed I am in the shop. No notice. Should I have made more commotion? I thought a simple throat clearing would suffice. Nope. I put the coat back. I rifle through the blouses and more dresses. I was even more disappointed that the shop carried a lot of non-vintage and newer brands, similar to the brands Buffalo Exchange carries mixed in with the vintage while sporting their brand new labels. After about 10 minutes of still no aknowledgement I leave the shop. Then and ONLY then, one of them looks up from the computer and says "See ya." The shop itself is cute. Can't fail with girlie pink walls, right? I really had high hopes for this vintage shop. I won't be returning again as there are so many other wonderful places to shop for vintage in Los Angeles. read more

I walked in, was not at all greeted by either of the 2 guys sitting and chatting at a desk. I took a quick look around and the first thing I saw was a Radiohead shirt on the rack. I own an In Rainbows shirt, it's not vintage at all and was curious how much this small shop was selling it for. French new wave, mod, rock, and romantic aesthetics all have a place here. This is a cool little rockin spot for things of the vintage persuasion. I like the fact that it is near all the good restaurants, bars and such. Would come back. Parking is at a premium though. Most spots are taken and because it is in a busy area, you may find yourself driving around in circles if are unfamiliar with the area. Happy shopping! Been shopping here ages, unlike every other vintage store where you walk in and the staff is too stuck up to greet and help you. I always feel welcome and find unique one of kind gems. The layout is charming & picture perfect, great music low in the background unlike stores that have hip hop blasting so loud its hard to think. Prices on items are fair weather on a high or low budget you will always find something. This is the first time I have ever entered a shop and thought "I'm home". It was like entering my dream closet: the long, slender space was filled with sturdy clothing racks housing a wonderful selection of well-maintained vintage pieces. Displays full of unique purses, sunglasses, and other accessories sat atop the racks, providing a million and one things to look at while strolling through the store. They had everything organized by type, which I absolutely loved. They were also burning a vanilla candle when we walked in, which was a nice change from the usual mustiness that accompanies vintage clothing and the stores themselves. Overall prices were very reasonable, jewelry selection was excellent, and their shoe collection was impressive. The gentleman working the counter was kind and helpful but did not hover, which would have been quite awkward in the small space. He knew a lot about the pieces we inquired about, and had a nice mix of music playing the background. I ended up with a gorgeous slip in near mint condition for under $25, though I could have easily walked out with several other items that caught my eye. Somehow, I exercised restraint...perhaps giving me an immediate excuse to return :) I will definitely be back! read more

I live about 3000 miles from home - Washington DC. Home sweet sticky political home. It means a lot when you go into a vintage store and find an 84 Redskins tee with Theismann and Riggins on the front which reads "Redskins America's Team". It seriously kicks booty. And we also found a Smithsonian shirt - ROCK! This place is really good for slight men and women but the staff was friendly and there are some true gems here. Hail to the Redskins! read more

One of my fave stores in LA! I've been going to House of Pies for years and just randomly stumbled upon this place in April. So glad I found it! The selection is amazing and prices are pretty reasonable for what you're finding. I've seen everything from Gucci to super indie brands. You can tell this place is meticulously curated. The owner Nina is one of my faves! She not only has exquisite taste but is a complete sweetheart. Truly a hidden gem in LA. If you can catch her when she's at the store I would definitely have her select a few things for you. I swear this girl is a clothes whisperer! She really knows her stuff! I love this place. I never wore jewelry before coming to this store. I also never wore color or dresses. This store and the lovely owner's sense of stye have totally changed my own style and she has made me fall in love with shopping which I had always hated. I now have a drawer filled with jewelry and I wear lots of color. I read some of the comments below. If I had to choose, I'd rather have someone at the desk watching videos on a computer as opposed to overly pushy sales staff who monitor my every move the way they do in some stores in Los Angeles. I always leave those stores immediately. Anyway, in my own experience, I have always found the people who work there to be friendly, attentive and helpful. Super cute little store, but the selection was a little too small for me. I love browsing through racks and racks of gorgeous vintage clothes and I just felt like my browsing spree came to halt too quickly. Nice clothes though, not all of them are vintage however. I did find a good number of designer items for super cheap ($40-50 average) such as Theory and Michael Kors. They have a rack of designer denim for good prices too. Tried on one dress but didn't get it, it was $55, a little more than I wanted to spend on it. I may come back if I'm in the area. read more

i just found this store by accident and can't say enough good things about them (having shopped vintage most of my life this one was very different and sort of gourmet) they are not a cheap store but have a Euro san fran classy vibe and love the small eclectic decor and friendly service. No one bothered me and i stayed there and tried on so many dress' for my xmas party and found an incredible one in the 80's range well worth the price tag. If you like not being bothered and listen to AMAZING music and then i seriously advise you all to check her out.. There were motorcycle, 60's moccasins n some rare other finds there.. Very cute place with a seemingly friendly employee. I would have bought many items except the store seemed to be just for skinny people. All the sizes I saw were small or medium. I may have bought an item or two but I felt they were a bit pricey.
