What an exquisite charming place ! Walk into a old fashioned time capsule full of your favorite vintage things ~ clothes, accessories, shoes, trinkets and keepsakes. Note that things are price marked on the higher end of the spectrum. You're guaranteed to fall in love with something, so go in at your own risk of spending $$$! Worth it if your a lover

My friend and I were driving around and spotted this vintage shop among a row of Ethiopian restaurants. The owner explained that this area used to be more antique stores and this store was a clothing boutique run by a Hollywood costume designer, and true to its roots, more vintage and clothing shops are returning to this area. But Cannonball and Tilly is worth a visit. I took some photos of gauzy classical maxi dresses that would be beautiful bridesmaid, prom, formal or wedding gowns, and it was gracious of the owner to allow me, because she doesn't usually. (I think there is an issue with designers copying.) I also bought a pair of hook and feather beaded shoulder duster earrings inspired by a Brazilian singer's from the 70s.

This colorful, dazzling vintage shop has been a go-to for several years now. If you're looking for something special, a piece that stands out and is certainly not shy - then Cannonball and Tilly is the place for you. Owner Laura Kranitz travels all over the country (and the world!) to find uniquely lively clothing for the adventurous fashionista. She was once a buyer for one of the most well-known vintage shops in the city and has owned an accessories store for years, and girl knows her stuff. Nothing is over-priced, and you are SURE to be asked where you got that dress/pair of boots/necklace. Insider's Tip: Their spring sale takes place April 1st and 2nd, with $10 and $20 specials!

Some cool vintage pieces. But the prices they want for 'em spiked my blood pressure & had me reachin' for my smellin' salts!

Absolutely. but the store opens at 11 AM, & it was around 12:30.... ???? (They left a sign that says they'd be back in 30 minutes.) & my other thought was that - at the price point of each single item from Reformation, I believe the business can afford at least two employees on site at a time. After about an entire hour, two girls showed up with leftover food in their hands. I was there, & I waited because I needed something specific to wear. & I don't mind waiting at all for an employee to come back from lunch. There were other women waiting outside as well. This case was unique. There were two employees, who took a break simultaneously because they'd rather the clients wait. & when they came back, they did not let customers in immediately. It was hot outside. Not terrible, but waiting an hour out there was not fun. One other customer was not as patient. She had exploded over the phone with maybe customer service (or her friend) regarding the same experience. I was confused when the employees entered without paying any mind to the people who had been waiting. Sure, it only took them a few more minutes to reopen the business. but what? Never mind the people who had been waiting. Bottom line is, I would never return to this store. It was a shit experience. Not everyone is here out of a desire for luxury, but this was pretty low on any customer service I had ever experienced. There was not a single considerate thought for the customers. I appreciate a brand like Reformation for its sustainability efforts & a price point that isn't too far out of reach for some people. And a brand of this magnitude simply cannot endorse this behavior.

Platform is a fun outdoor/indoor shopping center located in Culver City. I honestly hadn't heard…read moremuch about this shopping center until one of my favorite stores broadcasted that they would be having a pop up located here. Platform was fairly simple to navigate in many ways. Coming from Ventura county it was a little bit of a drive which was to be expected but luckily this center isn't far off the 405 freeway which did make this very easy to get to. Also the parking garage is clear and colorful (easy to find). Seemed safe enough and I felt comfortable leaving my car behind, haha, harder to say in some parts of LA these days. The parking garage was reasonable on pricing and it had an attendant so easy peasy. I appreciated that they had multiple maps and signage so you can find where you're heading with ease. This shopping mall is slightly more upscale, I said it. Not $$$$ price point but the restaurants and some shops are a little boujee for the average person. It's no rodeo drive but I could see this maybe not being the most accessible price point for the average person. We knew the content of the shops though so we were fine but did we blow a few hundred dollars, definitely. They had a nice ratio of clothing shops, to home goods, and restaurants/drink stalls. However, in grand total the amount of stores is slightly underwhelming. We walked this shopping center pretty quickly and were eager to see more cute shops. Felt a little empty in some ways but if you come here in mind of a few stores you know you want to see then your fine, this spot just wouldn't be on my regular shopping rotation as there isn't enough for me to see to justify the drive. Our favorite stores though were definitely Catbird (jewelry) and the Mojave Flea Trading Post (heard this was only a pop up store through 2023). I'm hoping they'll maintain the good stores and continue to get creative in bringing more to this center as it has potential and overall was a nice and chill environment for a girls shopping day.

There is street parking in the area but you have to be willing to walk about 8 minutes (a few blocks). Be sure to read the signs for any street cleaning or parking restrictions. There are also some meters if the street parking is full. Also, if you take a Pilates class at Homebody Studios, they validate structure parking for 90 minutes. That should be enough time. I loved my experience here!…read more I've always wanted to work with a stylist, but never knew how to go about finding one. Since having my baby I haven't been able to shop for myself and got fed up with wearing my maternity clothes. Somehow I found Trunk Club and thank goodness I did! After receiving my first box I decided to schedule an appointment with my stylist Alexandra. She was wonderful and pulled about 15 pieces for me to try. Some were a hit, some were a miss, but Alexandra took notes on what looked good on me for future reference. The location itself is beautiful. It's large with lots of natural light coming in from sky lights. There's a bar serving complementary beer, wine, water bottles, and coffee. Alexandra offered me a cold brew to drink which I gladly accepted. Also impressive was After visiting Trunk Club, I'm not sure why I wouldn't return every time I need a few new items in my wardrobe.

I'm not a big clothes shopper but I always look forward to my trips here (and always end up spending more than I plan) By appointment only (but super easy to make one) Trunk Club makes it so easy to shop for good looking clothes from a range of labels. They do tend to be more on the upper end (their acquisition by Nordstrom is indicative of this) so be prepared for the corresponding pricing. That being said working with a stylist and their range really helps with putting together ensembles that actually work and that involved multiple interchangeable elements. Trunk Club also has their own custom shirts and suits that are tailored for each customer. I've ordered both and love them. Their dress shirts are now my first choice both in terms of look and feel.
