I called Cherry Valley Automotive on a weekday at 4pm after 2 other places said they didn't have time. I needed someone to look at my wheel as it has been squeaky for about a week. I honestly didn't expect them to have time to check it out but they said come on down. Within 10 minutes, they told me the issue. I do not recommend this place. I dropped my two cars off here. They were able to fix one. But as for my other car, it ended up WORSE than when I took it in. I can't to get my headlight fixed. My high beams worked going into this shop. When we went to pick up the car, the owner I'm assuming gave me the absolute WORST attitude for no reason. I was asking him questions but he could not hear me. He asked me to take my mask off so he could hear me better, and I told him I'm sorry but I am not taking off my mask in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. None of his staff or himself were wearing masks either. When I did not take off my mask, the owner got increasingly frustrated with me and was being absolutely unprofessional. He told me they were going to give me back my car and there was no further work they were going to do on my car. When they gave me back my car, my ENTIRE HEADLIGHT WAS OUT! Let me remind you, my high beams WORKED! After they shoved my light back in they BROKE MY HEADLIGHT! The owner then said "there's no work we can do but I'm going to charge you for labor" luckily he thought about how they didn't even fix anything and said they could not do any more work. So they ended up not fixing or charging me. I had to buy an entire headlight due to their poor craftsmanship and unprofessionalism. I do think it's fishy how I went to change my headlight on my own there was a jelly on the connectors... which I'm sure the owner instructed to do so, I wouldn't doubt they were spiteful as well as unprofessional. As for the other car, they fixed the AC but dude get a hearing aid if you cannot hear people or get another employee to help you. It's not ok to talk to people the way you did. read more

If you're looking for a reasonably priced repair shop with a great amount of integrity, don't look any further! Before choosing a place to diagnose and fix my German car, I did my due diligence and asked for recommendations. Cherry Valley Auto was the clear winner and I completely agree! One of the things that needed repair was the door check on the driver's side. As they discovered, the door check needed replacement as it was broken. (The dealer never told me that!). I was shown the piece and, indeed, it was broken and unrepairable. A new one arrived the next day. The replacement process required the need for welding from the INSIDE of the driver's door. CVA took great care in ensuring the heat from the weld did not bleed through to the OUTSIDE of the door by packing it in ice. Needless to say, my door is perfect! My car also required a search for the cause of a rattle. Found and speedily fixed! And not a transmission issue as I had thought! Whew! I couldn't be happier with my experience at CVA and will definitely return should the need arise. I highly recommend this shop! I should add that this is the cleanest shop I've EVER seen! First time bringing my Volkswagen GTI here, the check engine light was coming off and on for a couple months and I didn't want to go to the dealership as they have been charging an arm and a leg. At Cherry Valley Automotive they diagnosed it and fixed the problem on the spot in less than 2 hours, for about $150 all together for parts, labor, and diagnosis (the dealership wants over $100 alone just to diagnose). Both the man I spoke to on the phone and the lady who helped me when I brought the car in were very helpful and kind, answering all my questions. I needed an oil change and rear brake job on my F250. I've been taking my truck to Redlands Ford since I bought it but after a couple years of "the stealership" experience I decided it was time to find a local shop who could be my new 'go to guy' with all things automotive. I pulled in without an appointment. The staff was super friendly and Philip came out to meet me and answer some of my questions. Rather than dump it on them a few minutes before closing, I made an appointment to come back the next morning. I showed up early for my appointment and it was no problem. They got right on it. Philip notified me of a couple of issues for which I was very grateful. He let me know which issues needed to be dealt with right away and which could wait a while. This is my first time here. I brought my car in this morning because my brakes are seriously bad, to thr point that as Im driving my wheels were squeeking the entire time Im driving. I always get anxiety when it comes to auto repairs because I always feel like Im getting ripped off, so I always delay in my auto repairs (kind of like going to the dentist it gives me anxiety). However, when I arrived I was greeted and was made to feel very at ease. They inspected my car and Philip showed me what needed to be done rather than just telling me (like some other places Ive been to where they inspect your car and just tell you without showing you so you dont know if theyre being honest or just over charging you). I did my homework and the price that Philip quoted me matches up. He also took the time to explain to me the repair process. Honest and trustworthy! I had gotten diagnostics at Supreme Auto Service which is not far from CVA. I took it to them thinking I had a bad thermostat. When they called me to give the diagnosis and estimate.. Supreme AS told me the vehicle had severely overheated and the head had a leak. They recommended resurfacing the head and replacing the gasket to the tune of $2000. Well after I saved my money to get these repairs I decided to get some more estimates. Right off the bat I was impressed with CVA because their estimate for the repairs was $700 cheaper. So I took my car to them.. when I dropped it off they told me they would run diagnostics again to be sure that was the problem. They called me the next day to let me know that there was no sign of a leak in the head and that the thermostat was stuck shut.. which was what I thought was wrong all along. So CVA knowing I was prepared to drop $1,300 into my car let me know that all I needed was a thermostat and a new coolant reservoir, which only costed me $530 in total. Now my car runs great and I saved almost $1,500.. They have secured a new customer with me. Thank you CVA! read more
