There is also a huge selection of beers and we got some local Ale from Appleton to pair with it. It's true it was not very friendly, all men at check out though the younger one seemed pleased I had bought the cheese, mind you I had no idea it was going to cost so much. Like others, I agree a hello, a smile and thank you would have been nice. The ambiance is that of the usual country store without the smiles.

The atmosphere felt cold, unfriendly, and almost as if our presence was an inconvenience. My husband sarcastically referred to it as the "Happy Farm" because it was anything but happy. Unfortunately, that pretty well summed up our visit. My husband is still kicking himself for not simply walking out and leaving our items on the counter. Looking back, he wishes he had trusted his instincts instead of rewarding such poor customer service with our business. After our visit, I read through other reviews and noticed that many people described similar experiences, so it doesn't appear we were alone in feeling this way. That's unfortunate because a business can have great products, but if customers don't feel welcomed or appreciated, it takes away from the entire experience. Hospitality costs nothing. A simple "hello," a smile, or a friendly attitude would make a world of difference. Instead, we left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Until that changes, we won't be returning, and I can't recommend this market to anyone looking for a friendly, enjoyable shopping experience.
