I got a cheeseburger and my daughter got the chicken fingers. I asked for my cheeseburger medium well and I got it really pink inside. More medium rare. My daughters chicken tenders were on the verge of being burnt. The whole part of the tender was pretty dark brown and the ends on the verge of being black. I broke off the ends and tasted them. Yep. They were burnt. My daughter was hungry and my wife and I got our food. So I broke off the ends and fed the less burnt middle parts to her because I wasn't sure how long it would have taken them to make new ones. I love this place! The atmosphere is comfortable and just social enough that it has a fun feel to it, but isn't too loud. The decorations are cute and there is plenty of seating. They have the drink dispensers that you can choose from various flavors of any kind of soft drink. The food is delicious! I *highly* recommend their old bay wings. They are huge and full of flavor, especially for the $9.99 price. I was so impressed with the short wait time for our food and the presentation. The crab Mac and cheese is phenomenal. I would get that once a week if I could. The fried oysters are great & they have cheesy crab tater tots! What an amazing combination. They have such an expensive menu that it took us almost 10 minutes to go over everything and finally make a choice. My own got The Rachel with onion rings and my mom got the Prime rib sub. They wanted to lick their plates clean. They have great service too! Everyone is polite and really attentive. They have clean bathrooms too. It's a tucked away place, but deserves more recognition! Always consistent quality in their food! We have eaten inside throughout the years but recently order curbside. The cream of crab has a ton of jumbo lump and the burgers are delicious. Prices have increased every where but at least I know it will be worth it when ordering from here! read more

If you want a truly amazing, fresh and delicious meal and some Maryland flavor, this deli is the place to go!!! I live in North Beach and this deli is a total gem! The crew is great, quick, friendly and welcoming. I remember when it was Honey's Harvest, and these owners have changed the game. I really love how they kept the local wines the best though. And located next to the marina with a pretty oudoor seating area, such a great place to visit, view and really enjoy food that brings us together! And the rewards program?? This was the first time that we tried Chesapeake Grille. We ordered the Italian sub, old bay wings, and chicken wrap for dinner. The food was delivered to our home an hour later. Everything was good and at the right temperature. The wings were s but salty for my taste but I think that was just the old bay seasoning mixture. My partner got the Cheesesteak and I got a special of the Day burger with BBQ sauce and onion rings on it. I loved my burger. It was big and juicy and just the right amount of BBQ sauce. My partner said the Cheesesteak was ok. We were sure glad they were open - just what we needed after a long plane ride. read more

Been going here for years, and they don't disappoint. They adapted well during Covid and are one of our favorites for good local food!

I've eaten the salads, the entrees and my son loves the appetizers. I've never had a bad meal be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. Everything is always fresh. Came by for some soup on a cold afternoon. We had cream of crab and md crab along with fried pickles and fried green beans. Cream of crab was full of crab meet but one bowl had quite a few shells, md crab was delicious. Our favorite cream of crab so far in the area. Fried pickles and green beans were very good but thought portions were a bit small. We finished our lunch with a piece of Smith Island Cake, thought 8.41 was a bit pricey for a piece of cake. The employees bringing out food were quite cranky, grumbling each time they came out of the kitchen. Will not sit in the front near kitchen door next time. Dunkirk MD leaves a traveler few options for dining. My spouse and I attend a church down the road about 40 minutes from our home in PG Co MD. We're always looking at the side of the road for dining options on a Saturday night. We tried this place after a few times driving by ; reading relatively solid reviews on Yelp. We tried the Cream of Crab Soup; fried pickles and Bay Fries appetizers. Soup was outstanding - high marks - lots of crab meat and super creamy. Fried pickles were another solid choice with excellent bbq ranch dipping sauce. The Bay Fries were tasty....but as Tony Soprano used to say...."the envelope was a little light." For $2.99, I expected a burger joint amount of fries. Instead, I would guess the portion was about 1/4 pound if that. Probably best to get a sandwich or entree next time that comes with fries. The FreeStyle Coke machine is always a HUGE plus in my book. We'll be back for seconds. read more

Wow, what a unique concept. Only in the area for the day so we will have to wait until our next visit to try their other offerings. We had the Crab Cake Sandwich and the Grilled Tuna. Excellent!! I must say that the tuna I ordered medium was cooked to perfection which is hard to do with fish. The fresh chutney gave the tuna an extra kick that set it apart from other tuna dishes I've had. You get the feel of a fast food place because of the counter you order at, but the menu, food and service quality sets them far apart from fast food or most full service restaurants for that matter. Stopped here to grab a bite to eat. This was my first time and because of time restraints I got my food to go. My Grilled Chicken Wrap took an awful long time. I sat at a table with my number waiting for my to go package to be delivered as I watched multiple people who came in after me and dining in getting there food. We grabbed take out here for Mother's Day lunch and I have to say, it was one of our better take out experiences. The broiled crab cakes were on point! Warm and full of GOOD meat (not just filler!). Let's start with the not so bad item that came with the burgers - the fries (good, as most things are when you put in a little Old Bay! But that's the Marylander in me!). With that said, let's move onto the burgers. The combination of ingredients in making these specialized burgers are good but not great as we were truly disappointed with the burgers themselves. They are not fresh or juicy, meaning they appear to have been taken out of the freezer, placed on a flat grille to cook. It was a very disappointing $34 order overall. Overpriced burgers for ok taste. I'm on a quest to find a great burger joint or diner in Dunkirk! Maybe I should expand my search outside Calvert County? read more

Decent sized portion and good sauce. Also recommend the Clam-strips (with tartar sauce (my preference over cocktail sauce)). My only complaint would be that sometimes it takes a long time to get your food or sometimes the food is not cooked consistently from the time before. This place has been headed downhill, so tonight is my last visit. Just waited 2 hours for my order. When I got home all the food was cold or undercooked. Nothing like waiting two hours for cold and undercooked food. Never saw so many angry people, as I arrived people warning me to leave and not to waste my time. I should have listened. Upon arrival the girl has no idea where the order is and begins mumbling to another employee. No explanation no apology but says can you wait a bit longer. Ok, sure. She says "yea, sure dont worry about it" she also told me they would bring the order out to me. 15 minutes later still no order. I go inside and the order is sitting in the window.
