Location/ Ambiance: Huge! Located inside a small food court. The bar is massive, and there's a variety of picnic tables. Along the walls, entertain yourself with electronic darts and other arcade games. Fun mosaics decorate the walls, and as an avid cat lover, I love their logo and merch. Music playing and lots of TVs. Parking: Paid street parking (free on Sundays) right out front. Walking distance from the Elkins Park Septa Station. There might be surrounding free street parking in the residential area. Beer: Decent selection of styles and flavors. I wasn't wowed by my Strawberry Wheat Beer - it was just "okay". My boyfriend had their two Belgian beers (he wasn't driving) - and he liked them. Food: Options available from the Deli counter. There's also a Vietnamese place inside, but wasn't open we visited on Sunday. We shared a chicken cheesesteak and fries. The cheesesteak was massive and shareable. It was saucy and flavorful, but in my opinion, needed more cheese. The fries were good and hot. The cheesesteak roll, one of the most important components, was a winner. Service: When I visited on a Sunday afternoon, the place was virtually dead. There was only one bartender, and she was nice enough, if not seemingly a little distracted. I can't see me going out of my way to come back, since the location is 30+ minutes from home. This would be an ideal place for large gatherings or families. Not sure if they have wifi, but it could be a fun place to post up with a laptop if you're able to work in a noisy-ish environment. read more

I didn't know Elkins Park was such a nice area. Cheshire Brewing is near the train station so I assume it is in the center of town. They share their space with 2 others business. Is is big space with lots to do, ie. air hockey, arcade games and room for bands. Creekside Deli and market is one of the other businesses. They open the earliest. They a have a good deli menu. I got a cheesesteak. Angie's is the 3rd business. Angie was a no-show. Cheshire is Alice in Wonderland themed. I got a flight. I know I said I would never do that again but I saw 4 beers on the menu that I thought I would like. I liked all of them. I definitely liked one more than the others. Service was good. The bartender was setting up the bar her way. She brought in a dozen donuts. She offered a donut to everyone except me. I felt like Jim in Wonderland. read more

Beer was great! My party of 5 plus grandson were not greeted at all! Since this place looks like multiple businesses we were unsure where to sit. Grandson saw toys and games so we sat far from the bar in what I think was a deli/ market . Happy Hour food was great! Service was cold but so were other patrons, even ones with small children. If you're up on the far side of Philly just over the border in Elkins Park, Cheshire Brewing is a somewhat hidden little gem. Inside the Creekside Market next to the Elkins Park train station is where you'll find the brewery. It's basically just a square bar right in the middle of the market. It has plenty of seating options at the bar and around it, as well as plenty of good food options from the market that is just a few steps away. The beer list is small but fun. They have a wide range of options from lagers to IPAs and dark beers. And they have a handful of guest brewery beers from other local breweries which is really nice. I enjoyed the service when I was there, the bartender is really friendly and she's quick to provide you with whatever you may need. They have big TVs all around the area, so you can stop into the market and have a beer and enjoy the game - whatever game that may be! I am glad I found this place. You should try it too! read more

I was excited to try the bar for an Eagles game but it was EMPTY. Which was nice because we got our pick of seats and some 1:1 attention from the bartender. I don't eat meat so I was limited but the grilled cheese wasn't bad. Fries are frozen crinkle cut fries, not horrible but disappointing. I got 2 cocktails, both were good! A lot of ice in the one but the taste was good. I would come again because I like to try places twice but I wasn't overly impressed. Last time I was here there was nothing but Hoppy IPA items. I'm not a fan of IPA. Currently the delicious "Honey" Porter they have on tap is the first I've had in the 7% ABV range. read more

2 orders of wings and 1 beer... Almost $70 with tip. Ridiculous! Beer was decent but the Wings were average at best. To make matters worse I ordered all flats and the server said she would check if they could do that and let me know. Well I never heard that they couldn't and then I received a basket with more drumsticks (which I don't care for nearly as much) than flats. Had I been told they would not honor the all flat request I honestly would've ordered something else. But that aside, the wings were very... meh. And for the price??? $24 for a dozen average wings.... They should be delivering them on a silver platter any way you want them. I almost forgot to mention how long they took to come out. I wasn't timing but my guess would be about a half hour. I thought they forgot the order and got up to ask the bartender who said they would check. Order came out about 5 minutes later. I think they did forget. I may go back for the beer and atmosphere (there was live music which was cool), but I'll likely eat before I go if the wings were any indication of the rest of the menus pricing/ quality. read more

My friends and I went here for a simple chill night out and it could not have been a worse experience for us. After our first beers we were refused service by the 18 year old bartender. She cited that we all had different IDs (We go to graduate school here at Arcadia University and have IDs from all over the East Coast) and didn't know the differences between beers like stout or lager as if she knew better or was even of legal drinking age. She told us we were being rude to her despite us not directing any of our comments towards her and only interacting with her to order drinks (of which we were only allowed to get one each). Jenn and Brian are both great bartenders! I love their service and attentiveness, but even move I love the ambiance of the Creekside Market. There are plenty of events that go on such as karaoke on Monday's and the open mic on Tuesdays. I love seeing the monthly comedy events hosted by the various comics that patron the brewery. All of this while being served by the various food items served by the outlets in the market. I highly recommend checking this place out and seeing what it's like for yourself. read more

Great neighborhood taproom (they sell beer that Chesire brews in Pottstown I think). Huge bar area with some games and food options from Creekside Deli and Haven Local, which share a space with them. A sad excuse for a bar. The management tried a concept but it's a complete failure. Soccer moms with their kids in a bar. Literally the locals come in and sit at picnic tables and have two beers and think everyone loves watching their kids run around the bar. The place is too big, zero atmosphere and they need to rethink their business concept going forward. It's big enough for a nightclub and it might be more successful as that. read more
