Been wanting to try CM's pizza for some time...finally remembered while out running errands tonight. Originally planned to takeout but found that CM has a dining area with about ten tables so we ate in. Pie was ready when we arrived (told 25 mins, arrived 5 early). Soft crust, sweet sauce and plenty of cheese (even on the side without extra cheese) and flavorful pepperonis that curled up and were crunchy on the edge. Server attentive and dining area clean with several tv's. And being part of a market, a wider range of drinks to choose from. And no bate anywhere near the pie or dining area! read more

We have a dog show coming up at Delaware Cty Fairgrounds... came up a week early to preview some local restaurants. Were told this is the better pizza.... ... had I not gotten SO many referrals to here I might have tried somewhere else today but I really was curious. We had been here months ago but didn't order a pizza. I felt today was the day. Inside you enter into a convenient store. Half of that is a tackle/bait shop. In the back is a door and through there is a proper pizza parlor. Tables and everything. (Not what one would expect from the exterior.) The convenient store sells pizza by the slice. We go to buy the slice. We tell the cashier its our first time. She says. Oooh buy a pie it will be better these have spun around for a while (in their heating element tower). We order a large pep. She tells us 20 min. The wait begins... As we sit in our car we watch the steady stream of people coming in and leaving with two, three boxes of pizza or single slices. Okay, the point is: everyone leaves with pizza. Okay.... There is something to the recommendations. I mean its mid day. Not dinner. Not lunch Non stop customers. Pizza is done in 20 min... just as promised Lots of pepperoni is on it. It was not too big. Not too small. Not too greasy. Not too thin. Not too thick. Not too much pep. Not too little. Same with sauce, garlic, cheese. It was just right. Have I had fancier pizza... yes. But this pizza is just OG and just plain good. We will be back. Try them! read more

When we got there was only one customer, we sat down and I noticed how old the interior was- old tables, metal chairs and its small. Usually those places have the best food, so I was ready! They have keno and we ordered a few beers and played. They have some nice vintage beer signs and cool atmosphere for a little place. We ordered double Italian, chicken tenders and medium pizza. Then .. out of nowhere came the crowds! My gosh so many people with ONE waitress. She was working so hard I didn't want to ask her for another drink! My tenders were kinda yuck to me. I hated the presentation and the sauce came in a small plastic cup that I poured on them. The blue cheese was salad dressing in a plastic pour bag- just ok at best . The double Italian on the other hand was amazing ! Fresh sub bun , tons of meat! Fresh toppings! Brother and I decided to go have the pizza buffet at the Cheshire Market today. It's unassuming pizza place in the back of a combination convenience store and bait shop. They have a lengthy cold table with everything you need for a great salad and more. The ranch dressing was delicious. On to the real deal, the pizza. They put around 4 pizzas out at a time. Lots of variety while we were there. I had a pepperoni/mushroom/onion first. This was on a pizza dough that was perfectly cooked. Not crispy but still had structure to it. The sauce had a smooth taste to it. Not real spicy. The cheese was nice and creamy which was cooked to have the slightest browning to it. It was perfect. Also tried a pepperoni/onion slice and a plain cheese. Also a pepperoni/mushroom/onion slice. Several other. The waitress that was taking orders, running the bar and clearing tables was rocking it. They had 3 people running the kitchen in back. Very little wait time between changing out pizzas. Overall it was a great experience. For sure I will return. A friend of mine swears by this market (he is an avid fisherman) and said I must try the pizza. Yeah, I admit I was like pizza from a bait shop. WELL I WAS WRONG. Stopped in on way back from Delaware and glad I did. They have everything you would need for a day trip and probably one of the top 5 pizzas you will find in CBus. Got a large pepperoni to go. So hot, fesh, and good. Great flavor with the right amount of cheese, sauce, and pepperoni. I hear that next time I need to get the "mixed" sauce. They also offer other great food items for dining in the dining room or to grab and go to fill your cooler. Service was very good and everyone was very pleasant. My sister loves this place and so we came one evening. We ordered the boneless wings, a small cheese pizza, and potato skins. The pizza was great, we both loved it. I decided to try the pizza as many individuals rave about Cheshire Market. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with bacon to go. The pizza was delicious. They add the right amount of toppings which is a plus. While waiting on my pizza, I ordered chicken wings, drums only. When I received my basket of wings, I wondered if these where actually chicken wings or Cornish game hen wings. They were extremely small and odd shaped. I thought the hot and spicy style sauce was amazing but the wings didn't fill my small appetite. Service was solid. My server was by herself, it seemed yet she handed the tables with ease. The atmosphere is lively. It appeared they have a buy one get one beer special as I saw many individuals with two beers in front of them. The pizza was excellent. We had loaded pepperoni and mushroom pizza from the pizza bar. They are heavy on toppings and keep pizza coming. I highly recommend the quick stop for pizza. This is a locally owned and operated market which has been in the family for well over 50 years. It may look tiny on the outside but aside from the food and few aisles of basic groceries, their fish and bait section will have your mouth dropping. Excellent spot for campers in the area to pick up any necessities or order some food to-go or dine in. They have a small restaurant and bar attached in the back. Breakfast sandwhiches offered in the mornings with local donuts from sunbury OH along with coffee needs. Excellent prices I may add as well. Some of the highlights of the market definitely include the fish and bait section, live bait sold there as well and a large variety of fishing essentials . One of my pals is a heavy time and pro fisherman and literally was about to jump up and down with all that was available for purchase and he has driven past the market hundreds of times and never thought to ever stop in. Highlights of food- Tuesdays they have a salad buffet with spaghetti and meatballs. They do delivery on this but dining in gives you unlimited salad buffet along with a few dollars in price savings per each ordered meal. The salad buffet is quite amazing as well- their cucumber salad is the best I've had in any surrounding areas . They also offer a macaroni or pasta salad too, plenty of salad choice options with variety of meats...even if you just eat salads the salad buffet, in my opinion is top notch. (I've been to a lot of buffets as well I should add :) Thursdays they offer a unlimited salad buffet with unlimited pizza buffet . Yes you can order pizza to go and be delivered but I've had both and personally prefer to attend the buffet (I love their thin crust offered there). Pizza is unlimited as well and closes at 8pm sharp. All day long. Quaint and cute old school market with attached restaurant. Is there anyplace that is more of a duality than the Cheshire market? It's a market and bait shop in the front and a small restaurant in the back. The restaurant is small and the bar is even smaller. I ended a long day here and had second dinner of Stromboli and wings. The Stromboli is all madero order by individual topping. I had a pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion, and green peppers boli and it was excellent. Been coming here for years to grab bait and snacks when fishing, but tried a dinner here for the first time. Boyfriend and I ordered a medium with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and banana peppers. The crust seemed thicker than a thin crust. We asked for it to be well done and was pretty good. Then we shared a whole Italian Sub. The meats and goodies inside were really good however the bread was not even toasted. Next time we will ask if they can bake the whole thing. Just north of the hustle and bustle of Columbus Ohio and it's ever expanding suburban ring, is a small community on the edge of a reservoir called Alum Creek. This community has a secret. Hidden within the walls of the bait and tackle shop and local convenience store is a place where the love of pizza isn't a secret. My brother shared the Cheshire Market secret with me in a recent visit to Columbus and to this day I wonder how many other secrets he's kept from me all these years. What a wonderful evening spent eating fantastic pizza and drinking icy cold adult beverages. In a dining room that's reflective of the community, with walls covered with local high school football memorabilia, one TV for the latest in news and sports- filled with small tables for family conversations and a bar where friends can gather to cheer on the Buckeyes, we enjoyed a hot, well sauced pepperoni, mushroom and olive pizza. We chose the mild sauce but they have three to choose from. Not disappointed with our choice AT ALL! The eating experience was so good I forgot to take pictures of what we ate!!! Lately ; 1)no price tags on beer = sorry totally unacceptable , indicates they want to overcharge by eliminating price shopping and masking shopper from seeing the higher price strategy(Der Dutchman does this). In addition , when I asked cashier how much PBR 6 pack was -- after looking at his info , he didn't know ? 2)Limited single beer selection and no ice beer. ICE is cheapest choice and perfect for a senior going fishing . 3) two Subs ordered to go - took 44 minutes while nobody in restaurant got any food (sit down,carry out, or delivery while there). 4-5 customers were there but just drinking beer . When ready = only one sub. Asked did I want to wait for my 'correct' order. Said I didn't have 45 more minutes. Said it could be ready in 5 ???? . I was not going to wait given the 45 min before . Suddenly , she's back w/2 subs = I took from another order ??? Asked why the long wait = said the 4-5 workers were doing other orders == there WERE NO OTHER ORDERS . So, I was nice and my other half to his favorite pizza place. He was thrilled and I at least got some good chicken wings. He got the gluten-free pepperoni pizza and loaded potato skins. I got the chicken wings and a small chicken chef salad. That's right... a small salad that wasn't that small at all! Now, I had the onions taken off and didn't know kw about the chopped green peppers in the salad. Next time, nix the peppers. The wings were very good and thankfully coated, some places slack and here they don't.
