But the last 2 orders have been disappointing due to way too much sauce (to the point of being sloppy) and very little cheese. Delco pizza in my opinion is Delaware's #1 overall best pizza. They aren't skimpy on the toppings the crust isn't my favorite crust but it is a good crust. I prefer thinner crust that is crispy. But overall their pizza has it all over most pizza places in Delaware. You have to order by phone or go through the drive thru to order which I find to be alittle inconvenient but still overall a pizza that I believe you should try when you're looking for a pizza above most others. It's a little higher priced but all the toppings justify the higher price. read more

I had never heard of this place until this evening. We ordered a large thin crust pineapple, bacon and ham pizza and a order of pizza bread. When we arrived to pick our order up we were surprised to see that Delco has a drive thru attached to it. You can get your beer, soda and other snacks im while you pick up your pizza. The pizza was great full of flavor with a sweeter sauce. The crust was cooked perfectly, crunchy on the edges, firm and chewy on the inside. The pizza bread was outstanding, the crust was thicker then the thin crust on our pizza. It was covered in mozzarella and provolone cheese and either garlic butter or something garlic based. It came with a large container of pizza sauce to dip the bread in to. read more

First off, it's a massive inconvenience on picking up from this location. Long lines and only two registers. Both of which also have to retrieve items from the drive thru portion, which just adds time to your wait. Pizza is above average at best. It's a simple frozen pre prepared dough that sits in the freezers, as witnessed by sitting In the drive thru line and them wheeling frozen stacks of doughs from the freezers. Again, pizza aren't terrible but you can tell they're assembled in a very elementary fashion. I ordered pepperoni with onion and pepperoni with sausage. What I got was two different pepperoni pizzas with soft cooked raw onion and some sort of I don't know what to call it sausage just layered over a cooked pizza. Not cooked with or into the pizza. Extremely disappointed. If you want good pizza try Amato's Woodfired or Payne's. I tried to order wings to my liking, as a customer should be allowed to do. I prefer all flats. When I asked for wings selected to all flats I was told that the manager wouldn't allow that, as it was to difficult to comply with. I asked for the manager to discuss this simple issue but was told he/she wouldn't talk to me. Ownership/Management as this location is absolutely abhorrent. Furthermore, the taller bald guy with glasses (the owner) should look into reinvesting some money into the parking lot as it's a pot hole disaster. My favorite favorite Pizza is Del-Co Pizza. I had my first pizza from Delco when I was 16. I have ordered Del-Co religiously at least once a week to now once every two weeks from the time I was 16. I lived in MARION and now A place 45 min away from Del-Co and I still once a week to ever other week get pizza from there. I honestly love calling my Order the people are very nice and not pushy. This is the best pizza I've had in Delaware. My family recently moved to Delaware and it's been hard to find a real good pizza place! Delco has thick, sweet sauce that I just love. We had the thin crust which was perfect. We did get mushrooms and were sad to see they are canned. If they had been fresh, I'd be ordering pizza every week from here!! Nonetheless, the pizza was also blanketed in pepperoni, which was delicious. We also got the cheese sticks and my kids gobbled them up so fast, I only had a few!! They were amazing. Someone stole the pizza and Delco refused to make it right. The manager was rude and continued to argue with me. He was not professional and what happened to customers being right? I've been ordering from delco pizza for about 15 years now. In the past year the pizza has been showing up cold, Luke warm at best. For 15 years I've never complained but this past year has been horrible. I called, again to complain, because if I'm paying $20 plus tips and waiting 45 minutes, it should be hot. The one manager, Sam, answered and was completely rude and even told me that I'll be put on a "non delivery" list from that point on if I made them remake the pizza. Grew up on Delco Pizza and always order it whenever I come back to Delaware. Have to say that it's the best in town (and that's saying something for a town of 20+ pizza places). Be sure to ask for extra shakey. The pizza subs are really good too- also the spaghetti dinner is a steal! Recently moved to the area and wanted to find a local pizza joint when I stumbled across Del-Co. Ordered a basic pepperoni pizza and the pizza bread and they were absolutely delicious! Their sauce is sweet, pizza crust was thin and the cheese was perfect. The pizza bread came with an abundance of the yummy sauce on the side and I may have enjoyed the bread more than the actual pizza! This place is built into a drive through drinks / tobacco store. I've ordered here twice now, with varying degrees of quality. The most recent one was great (pepperoni, bacon - which comes in tiny pieces like sprinkles, banana peppers, jalapeños and their special "shake" seasoning). It's greasy, but a thin crust and cut into squares (with four triangles obviously). The mushrooms I had on my first order were the canned variety - steer clear of those. They sell wings too - I'm not overly keen on them but they fill a gap. All the usual flavours and dip (I had buffalo coating with ranch dip - they seemed quite greasy too, flavoursome though) The local dominos here is dreadful - this is much better. Often orders come with free cookies. Everyone here loves it and it's easy to see why. No seating. Call up, order, pickup and go. Or they also deliver too...not sure on radius as I stay straight across the street. read more

I lived in Delaware for years and this was my go-to pizza place. Moved to Dublin and still get it every 6 months or so because it's just genuinely that good. And we have very decent pizza in Dublin. Everyone has been telling me for years that this is THE place to get pizza in the City of Delaware. The other night, I decided to try it out and see what the fuss was about. You call them up and you drive-thru to pick it up. It is located at a beverage drive-thru so there is no dine-in. They will deliver to you though. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and went to pick it up. We got it home, opened it and it was cut in to squares, similar to Donatos (I love their pizza). I will say, I do not think its "all that" but its definitely not the worst but will put it high on my list, under Donato's. Pretty good overall! read more

I'm from Newark, OH and grew up with good pizza all my life. Moved to Delaware, OH and good pizza joints are very hard to find in this town! It's mostly national chains, and where's the fun in that? There just isn't a lot of choice for those of us in this little town. So, you have to give props to being able to get a good pizza that isn't from the big chains, and Del-co is easily my favorite pizza in Delaware, OH. They are probably a little higher in price compared to some other local pizza places, but in this case, worth every bit of it. What I hate about most other pizza places is how they skimp on the toppings when you order more than one topping. Not Del-co -- they PILE on the toppings. There is literally so much on the pizza that some of the toppings have no choice but to obey gravity and fall off while you try to eat a slice, which works to the benefit of our dog. He's a Del-co fan too. My wife really likes their Chopped salad (or was it the Chef salad? -- the one with the ham and pepperoni), but if you like Ranch dressing, make sure to skip on the pre-packaged packet and ask for their house ranch sauce, which is just like a dressing, but much better. Oh, and that salad is HUGE, so bring your appetite. Probably enough for two people to share. What's really cool about this place is that it's a drive-through, so while you're picking up your pizza, you can grab some refreshments, including some cold brew. No dine-in, just drive through pick-up or delivery. read more

I have been ordering from Delco for years, endless years as well as my family. I placed an order on Friday night, big mistake from the start because when I asked about delivery I was told "We can't give you an exact time". I placed my order at 7:25pm and was famished, an hour later I was borderline hangry (so hungry it caused anger). When I called a little over an hour after I placed my order to check on its status I was told they were putting in the pizza now and it should be out for delivery soon. By 9:18 I was ready to cancel my order and just resort to a mainstream pizza company. I was hesitant to call because I didn't want my food to be tainted by bothering them so much but I was concerned. The last time I called I asked to speak to the manager. When I explained the situation and that it had been almost two hours since I placed my order the man explained his employees were shit. He downgraded his employees, explained he pays minimum wage and no one wants to work and he also explained the food would go out as soon as someone was available to deliver it. While on the phone my food finally was delivered and didn't match up to previous deliciousness I've experienced before. Literally this alone pushed me away from Delco and now considering other places before on the totem pole. I don't feel as if excuses fix a situation and was beyond disappointed. read more
