Your first red flag is how easy it is to overlook the price on the website. Your second red flag should be that the price is not included in the appointment confirmation email. Your third red flag should be that she doesn't ask for payment before providing the service. She did agree to the $85 price "this one time," but there won't likely be a second. For $125, I can get a mobile groomer's van to pull up to the curb right in front of my building.

She offered to let me sit in on the grooming appointment, which I gladly accepted. The biggest thing for me was that she truly took her time with both Kuma and me, which is so hard to come by these days. She was willing to put in the effort to teach me simply because she cares about you and your dog. She has inspired me to learn more about grooming so I can better care for Kuma at home. I truly believe Sherry would make an excellent grooming instructor because she has both the competence and compassion that dogs (and owners) need. This was such a positive first grooming experience for Kuma, and I'm incredibly grateful. I highly recommend Sherry!!
