The meat carver (pitmaster?) was very personable as were the ladies helping with the line. I opted for the 3 meat platter. Fatty Brisket, Chicken, Ribs, and had them through in a Jalapeño cheddar sausage. The ribs aren't part of the 3 meat platter but the carver was able to add 3 ribs to my plate for a slight upcharge. For my sides I ordered Mac & Cheese and the BBQ beans. Momma ordered a Tri Tip sandwich and had twice baked potato casserole for her side. To wash it down, I ordered a Local Hazy IPA which I thought paired with the BBQ very well. She ordered a Diet Coke. The Ribs were fantastic. Not fall of the bone but with a slight chew. As it should be!!! The Brisket was decent. Not my favorite but it was still tasty. I wished it was a little juicier and more smokey. The Chicken breast was meh. It was dry and had very little flavor. It needed more rub for sure and I'd say way more smoke as well. It was my least favorite item. I think it was overcooked. The Jalapeno Sausage was FANTASTIC. Perfect snap. Delicious and smokey.
