The only time I yelled was when the karaoke DJ Pitbull got attacked by this drunken guy who should have never been allowed back because he caused problems with me a few months ago and is very violent and then the cook says to me oh don't worry he only goes after Native American women and I looked at her and I was like I'm Native American she probably couldn't tell because I'm also black. It was just very inappropriate and I've noticed that they don't have security so it's just not safe at all they should have called the cops but they were trying to avoid that so they tried to keep everybody inside. A pimento burger at $17 and a Caesar salad at $12 wouldn't be an issue if everything else matched up, but combined with the small portions and overall quality, it just feels overpriced. It's frustrating because this place has so much potential. With a few adjustments--especially bringing prices down a couple bucks or increasing portion sizes--they could absolutely pack the place. The expresso martini is not a happy hour option. It was $12, and it was excellent. I never order them, but always taste Jan's. This was the best expresso martini I've ever tasted. For food I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It was good and I enjoyed it, but I'm not a fan of chicken salad with grapes in it.
