I don't know what's going on with their deli department, but if you are trying to grab a quick bite for lunch, do not go there. You will be waiting for a while, they have three or four people working behind the counter, and apparently there's only one special unicorn that can ring people up. This is the third or fourth time in the past couple of weeks that I've had to wait longer than five bloody minutes just to get some damn chicken tenders. The same goes with self checkout, you don't always have somebody standing there when you need to get ID check or help, and even though I'll only scan three things on their little checkout, it seems like every friggin time somebody's gotta come in there and check it because the machine thinks I took more than what I had. Getting real tired of the self checkout, I don't get a discount for doing somebody else's job, what the hell? And QFC seems to delight with extra charges. Every other store I can get cash back without having to pay an extra $.75, but QFC is gonna get their due. So now I get to decide if I'm just gonna go hungry at lunch, start packing my own lunch, or go get it from some other place because I am done with this place.

I knew the previous managers (Tim & Lynne) by name and they acknowledged me every time I saw either one of them. I have stopped shopping at this store because the new managers merchandising strategies cater predominanatly to the hipster crowd, and I (as a senior citizen) felt snubbed when I asked about the reason(s) for all the recent changes that were made within the last 3-4 months. {for the new managers} Sorry, I know retail work is challenging, but I do have a choice of where I spend my money.
