Devoted Kiss Cafe was a restaurant we had in mind to go to when we were coming back from a trip…read morefrom Port Townsend. We left there early and by the time we reached Gig Harbor we were most certainly in the mood for breakfast. Apparently lots of other people did to and also it must frequently that idea in town as it was quite busy. We were informed that there was a wait but it wasn't a bad one and the restaurant looked highly enticing so we put our names on the list. When we were called we sat at the bar. Which was fine... we weren't about to be choosey. We ordered our food and we enjoyed immensely when we got it. I got a waffle with strawberries and cream which was amazing! The waffle was perfection, the fruit was fresh. Just wonderful! I also saw breakfast potatoes and they looked great too so I ordered some of those too. No big surprise... they were excellent! Steve and I both got a Bloody Mary and it was so good! It had a nice, spicy kick to it and was great! Some mornings call for a Bloody Mary and this one fit the bill nicely! Steve got a great tasting omelet and he had no complaints either! It's definitely worth the wait to get a table... not a shred of doubt with that.

The Food * Biscuits & Gravy: Forget the stale, "day-old"…read morebiscuits and watery gravy you find elsewhere. These were a revelation; fluffy, flaky, and buttery. The gravy was thick, rich, and absolutely bursting with savory flavor. It's the gold standard. * Banana Bread French Toast: This was a great "breakfast dessert." It was dense, incredibly moist, and hit that perfect note of sweetness without being overwhelming. Pure decadence on a plate. Atmosphere & Service We arrived right at 7:00 AM and were treated to a lovely sunrise reflecting off the water. Honestly, there isn't a bad seat in the house. The staff was the perfect blend of friendly and efficient, and even the fellow patrons seemed to be in a great mood--which speaks volumes about the vibe here. Bottom line: Incredible food, stellar views, and a warm, welcoming energy. We'll be back!

Netshed No. 9 is a must for the absolute best brunch…read more Ample outdoor seating, mimosas while you wait to be seated, fresh salads, enormous sourdough pancakes, and the most incredible cinnamon rolls that are so hot and fresh you'll be drooling over them. Since this is a popular place in Gig Harbor you can expect a long wait on a sunny day, but staff do a great job of turning tables and getting everyone seated as promptly as possible. So don't let the line deter you from going here-trust me, it's worth it to be patient for this one!

Great place. Good luck finding a parking spot during the hours they're open…read more Excellent service; equally excellent coffee. I had the BLT, which was very good, but nothing I'd leave Arizona for (by itself). What WAS superlative in all regards was the Tomato Bisque soup, which IS THE BEST I've had. THAT I'd drive from Arizona for. Two of us at the table had the "Stuffed Biscuit" -- which was an excellent Portuguese sausage wrapped in a biscuit, all drowning in a sea of red gravy based on the sausage. One other person at the table with us had some form of pancakes loaded with all sorts of sweet stuff: I tried the stuffed sausage but wasn't offered a bite o' pancakes. Oh, what the young can eat! Other than parking is the matter of prices. Four breakfasts, 3 coffees, 1 soda: $125.00 before tip. Breathtaking food: breathtaking prices.

Prices felt reasonable, especially for the portion sizes. There's also a whimsical chandelier made out of small cast iron skillets. Cute, I've never seen a chandelier like that before. I had a breakfast plate with pancakes that were just right. Not too sweet, not dry. The bacon was especially good, and everything else on the plate hit the mark. Coffee was decent. My husband went with the eggs benedict and was happy with it. We both left full and satisfied. The dining area isn't spotless. You can tell it could use a deeper clean in some corners. That said, our table was clean, and the food and service made up for it. Overall, a step up from the usual chain spots like IHOP or Denny's. We'd come back.

Your doctor will tell you at a minimum, you should share the portions! Servers are really good too. And the bathrooms are clean, thanks for that. Pricing is generous on the high side. As a one-er my tab with tip was over $20. With my wife and two kids, another time, it approached $75. Quality costs. I didn't notice if they had a senior menu.

This place is a reminder not to judge a book by its cover, don't want to call this a greasy spoon because there was nothing greasy about the food. Quaint and clean. The food was sooo good! Eggs, hubby's scrambled and mine over medium, were perfectly cooked. The sausage patties were delicious; nice crisp sear on the outside and tender in side. Best execution of hash browns I've ever had at any restaurant. The rye bread toast.... To make this place even better, the service was incredible. Charming and just overall nice, you know you're being taken care of with them. Renee made great recommendations and we got an omelet (forgot which one...it was a supreme/something omelet towards the top of the menu) and my hubby got a club sandwich! Omelet was cooked perfectly and they were not cheap on the meat! My hubbys club sandwich was HUGE! You must get the loaded hash browns, they are incredible!! Will definitely come back!
