I ordered the "big bite" with all of the veggies and had it toasted a little. (See menu pic for sandwich details. The bread was so fresh and prefect. It was delivered this morning as it is each morning, the proud owner told me. The meats and cheese stacked high and were all sliced fresh today. And while all of the above was very fresh, the crisp freshness of the veggies still was noticeable. This is so much better than any subway sandwich ever was. Come and try one. Locally owned. My friend and I were in the mood for some yummy sandwiches and found this place and we're not disappointed! We walked in the small and cute store and were greeted by two employees. We told them we were looking at their menus on the way over there and still needed some advice on which sandwich was the best one! They both said the big bite for sure. So my buddy and I both ordered the big bite. Mine with gluten free bread, his with normal. 10 or so minutes later our food came out. It was delicious! Stacked high with meat and toppings. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. The only gripe I have is wish my bread was toasted a little longer to be more crispy but that's minor. Would definitely recommend and will be back! read more

So to compare: Pros: a lot faster (but could be because I was the only one there), either way I appreciated how quickly I was served and they were really nice. Tons of fresh turkey meat stacked up, way more Than msm. And tasted good as well CONS; not a fan of how hard/chewy the bread was. MSM def has them beat by a long shot. Heading back from Oregon to Seattle, we were hungry and made a stop at Mosa's in Tacoma which was a straight up sandwich place with bottled/canned drink and chip options. The interior is minimalist in terms of decor but there are a few tables to sit at if you want to eat in. You can call ahead or just order there. Service was friendly and ordering was efficient. We enjoyed their Roast Beast sandwich which featured a soft French roll, thinly sliced seasoned roast beef, Swiss cheese, mayo, mustard, shredded lettuce and thinly sliced tomatoes. It was a solid sandwich in terms of size and quality of the ingredients at a decent price, and we hope to make it back to try their other sandwich choices. read more

There was hardly anybody in there and several people came after us and left before us, super frustrating. Looks like they are doing the best they can, but give people a heads up if something that should take 15-20 is going to take double or triple that. Ambiance is lacking, there's a few tables and a a fridges for drinks. The food, it's a sandwich, nothing to write home about. We had the momma Mia, the deluxe and the Philly. Also, for the record, there was a hair in Kid 2's sandwich, we are on our way out of town and couldn't go back but that was a bummer. The meat is freshly shaved and all the veggies appear to be pretty fresh as well. I'm so glad we got one over here in Lakewood. To me, it feels similar to MSM from 6th Avenue, but I'm not sure whether it's a father-and-son or a brother-and-brother. Who knows? But the fact is, the sandwiches were excellent. My wife got the deluxe Deli club, and I got the Philly. We both tasted each other's sandwiches. She had hers cold; I have mine toasted. Both of them were excellent, top-quality sandwiches. The bread was nice and tender, soft, and chewy. I felt the customer service was truly more welcoming. I felt really included. Came twice in a week span as we recently moved to the neighborhood and they remembered me and gave me an extra sandwich just because they forgot how I wanted it cut (wanted the nine in cut in half so I could split it with my husband & they cut it in three like usual on auto pilot -I was like oh just cut one third in half and put half with each third- instead I got that plus a whole extra which was above and beyond for such a minor mistake). The service is amazing. The ingredients are fresh and you get plenty. We enjoyed the roast beast and the... whatever is first on the menu with the turkey bacon. They were great and I'd go again. But they asked me to write a review and make recommendations on how to make it better. The sandwiches were bland and ate dry. We went home and put on salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. Haven't been in person but I ordered a 9" club and French dip. The dip was oddly cut into three very thin pieces which I was confused by, but it was pretty good. The jus was very strong (in a good way). The club was also pretty good as well. I also ordered some cookies (iykyk) and they were delicious. Glad I finally got to try this place. Decided to try this place after rave reviews saying it's better than MsM and akin to a sub from a deli in the NY/NJ area. Well that was a load of lies...the bread is trash it doesn't hold up to more than two bites before it begins to break into nasty soiled sponge like consistency. The lettuce looks like it's having an identity crisis- half cut on the slicer and then some rustic chopping??? No signage about the cold cuts so I'm going to assume straight from Winco or the restaurant equivalent. I went in 45 minutes before closing and the two dudes working waited a good ten minutes to start on my sandwich after I ordered even though there was no one else waiting for food. Love a good sense of timeliness and respect for a customer and one who tipped though I wish I could have tried my lackluster sandwich first because my tip would have come in a different form of compensation.
