Two 6" Hot subs, 12 chicken tenders and 2 fries for $34 is a great deal. We both got the Chicken Philly, 6 Honey Lemon Pepper 6 Mild Tenders, 1 Crinkle fries and 1 Straight fries. I liked the traditional fried better than the charred wings, the char conflicted with the buffalo and garlic parm sauces we had and gave a metallic taste. I've ordered Philly cheesesteaks from here and I must say they are different than any cheesesteak I've ever had because of the buffalo sauce that they place on the cheesesteak, but they really are very tasty. The rolls hold up against the sauce and the cheese in the slight greasiness of the meat so it doesn't fall apart. The fries are OK you can choose between the straight option and the crinkle fry option. I think I prefer the crinkle fries. I've also tried the wings those I would give a six out of 10 sometimes they are a little dry and I'm not quite sure about the sauces, but they complement the Philly cheesesteak in my opinion. I've also tried the chicken tenders and those are probably a seven out of 10. The location is small nowhere to really sit so it's more a pick up and take it to go type of establishment but if you're looking for a good Philly cheesesteak that's not your typical Philly cheesesteak. I was wanting some wings so I decided to try Buffalo Eatz. If you're in the University area, it's about 10-13 minutes up North Tryon. There's plenty of parking since it's in a plaza with other businesses. The inside of the establishment isn't that big so I'd say it's a takeout spot. I ordered from their website and got 12 wings all flat and fries. When you order 12, you get the choice of 2 flavors, I got hot and sweet chili. You can order combos which come with a drink but I did al carte essentially. Once I got there I saw they were selling desserts like cheesecake and Bundt cake. I saw a banana pudding cake and had to try! In total, I spent about $30 including a 20% tip. The wings were good flavor wise. The hot wasn't hot to me but I enjoy spice, like a lot. It was a bit salty but not unbearable. The sweet chili had a good balance of sweet and spice. Temperature wise I felt my chicken wasn't fresh so that was disappointing. My fries weren't extra crispy like I asked but they were still ok. Just typical crinkle fries. I felt like I got the bottom of the bag fries because they were short fries but again they were ok. I ordered the Chicken Philly & my husband ordered the Chop Burger with fries! My husband was completely satisfied with his food. He said the chop tasted just like back in the day at Chat n Chews (IYKYK), and the fries were seasoned very well.
