Visited the Chez Flo food truck in downtown Dallas. The food was clearly made fresh, as it did take a bit to receive my order. The #2 is a chicken, artichoke, pesto, cheese, crepe. The crepe was really good, thin, and crisp. The ingredients inside the crepe went well together, and were arranged evenly. The garlic parmesan fries were a little over flavored for my taste, but still good. The crepe, fries, and a sprite totaled - $13.00. Granted, the meal was filling and fresh but the price seemed a bit much to me. I would revisit and try the Nutella and banana crepe. read more

They were at the Richardson Food Truck Park a few months ago and I really enjoyed my meal from this food truck. The owners were extremely friendly and the food was out of this world good! I ordered the Croque de Madame with a fried egg and garlic fries on the side. It was a busy night, and they accidentally gave my meal away to another woman. No big deal. In fact, I didn't even notice. The owner apologized frantically and told me to come back and grab a free dessert crepe. The customer service was fantastic and they went above and beyond to fix an issue that I was not even upset about. The food was SO GOOD. And it was extremely filling. The fries had a good portion of garlicky goodness in top that I didn't even need to dip them in anything. And the fried egg on top of the Croque Madame was the right choice. The yolk made the dish even more flavorful. And when I went back for the crepe, I felt like I won the lottery. Sweet goodness in my belly. Can't wait to find these guys again! read more

This food truck was awesome!! They were at Martin House Brewery in Fort Worth. The crepes looked amazing and if I get to see this food truck again, I will totally order them. My boyfriend and I shared the #13 which was a French sandwich. We ordered it with a fried egg and the garlic parmesan fries. Oh boy it was delicious! The fried egg was perfect. Crunchy on the white part and the yolk broke open onto the sandwich. Can't get better than that. The cheese on the sandwich was gooey and tasty. My friends and I were in the area going to the museums and wanted to grab something to eat beforehand. The choices to choose from was limited; so we ended up going to this food truck. CREPE- roasted chicken, mushroom, caramelized onion, béchamel sauce on buckwheat flour crepe This has got to be the worst crepe I've ever had. It was so dry and the chicken was super dry as well. The sauce was nowhere to be found or tasted. Everything was so tough and dry. All I could taste was the mushroom and onions. I didn't like this crepe at all. GARLIC PARMESAN FRENCH FRIES I was really excited to give these fries a try, but they were just so salty and not even crispy. They were drenched in oil and I literally had to drink so much water after to get some of that salt taste out of my mouth. It was such a disappointment. I'm 100% sure I won't be coming back. So the idea of eating a crepe from a food truck was fun, but I didn't expect much more than a decent sweet treat. These crepes are effin delicious. I had banana Nutella, which should be simple enough, and they went the extra mile and a half. The bananas were roasted, with a few slightly charred pieces on top. The edges of the crepe had the slightest crisp to them. It was magical. And the french fries! They actually have bags of potatoes to make freshly cut fries. I went with the garlic parmesan, which have a delicious seasoning. I'll definitely be back, and I'm really going to try to convince myself to order something different. 5 stars. Let me start by saying the food is good, but their process for ordering is lacking. We came on a Wednesday to Truck Yard and Chez Flo was present. There was a small line, and the person inside the truck wasn't taking any orders. We waiting about 10 minutes before someone popped out of the window to take orders. When the people in front of me were done, the person disappeared again. I looked inside and noticed there was only 2 people working. When the person popped back, I put my order in and paid. For the price, you get a good amount of food. We waited about 20 minutes before our food was ready. The crepe was really good and the chicken sandwich was tasty. The fries however, were not. They were soggy and lacking flavor. Overall, the place has a lot of potential and needs to figure out a better ordering process. read more

What a great food truck! We saw them at Klyde Warren Park yesterday. Crepes were packed FULL of flavor! We shared the vegetarian and chicken crepes as a group because they sounded delicious and they did not disappoint! Veggies were very well sautéed and meat was succulent! Both crepes had great, distinct tastes and I couldn't even pick a favorite. Garlic parmesan fries were the perfect complement and were made to perfection as well. Since our local crepe place closed 2 years ago, we have been looking for a replacement nothing comes close. I was so happy to find Chez Flo because its even better. My husband and I shared the #2 - chicken, artichoke, spinach, pesto, cheese crepe and the garlic parmesan fires. The prices seem a little high, but its great quality ingredients and great portions and this was enough for both of us for lunch. So much on the menu looks great, can't wait to try other crepes, sandwiches, salads and definitely the dessert crepes. The crepe was fantastic, good sized with tons of stuffing. The buckwheat is hardy and stands up to the savory crepe. The were big portions of all of the filling, chicken was good quality and the pesto added great flavor. The garlic parmesan fries were heaven. I feel like they are usually hit or miss places. The fries are salty and crisp and would be great alone as well. But there is good quality parmesan and garlic and plenty of it without being overwhelming. The quality of ingredients I think really make a difference here. Buckwheat crepe has dark coloring which looked unappetizing but it was not bad. Not sure why they don't use just wheat flour crepe for savory but maybe they could, I didn't ask. Crepes were ok. A little dry around the edges but flavorful. However, they are crooks. Payed with my credit card and they felt entitled to give themselves a 25% tip, without asking or letting me know. They've got one of those tablets with a reader and they don't give you a receipt, so you don't know what they are actually charging you. What a great food truck! I tried them out at Truck Yard one day and was so glad I did! I ordered their new menu item, the destroyer sandwich. Daunting name, delicious concept. It was a bacon wrapped sausage link (cut in half) with caramelized onions, horseradish Dijon and chipotle mayo on a bun. My goodness it was good. This was served with a fistful of their awesome garlic Parmesan fries. Most of the time garlic Parmesan fries are too strong but these were perfect. They took my order and handed me an electronic buzzer to let me know when my food was ready--perfect! No need to wait in the hot sun by the truck. I was left full and satisfied for only $9.75, what a great deal. Try them if you see them around town. read more

The Bread that the sandwich came on was really thick and extremely dry, The Fajita chicken was a bit dry as well but the Avocado Mayo spread they used on the sandwich was delicious! Fantastic crepes! Enjoyed lunch today at Richardson Food Truck park and Mr G and I ate here. He enjoyed his Croque monsieur while had the crepe with Brie, apples, ham, bacon and tomatoes- both came with salads which were fresh and well dressed. We shared the pumpkin cream cheese crepe for dessert and enjoyed that as well since it wasn't overly sweet at the end of the meal. Just came across this food truck at the Pride Block Party here in Dallas, and all I have to say is the customer service is completely non-existent. Ordered my food, and noticed there was a line of people waiting on their food already. So I decided to sit near the crowd and wait. This is when I noticed people that had ordered behind me were starting to get their food before mine. So I went up to the window and asked what was going on, and saw they had all the tickets out of order and mine still had 4 other people ahead of it. I asked why so many other people were served before me, when my friends have already gotten all their food, and had finished already. They just responded, oh it's coming up next and pushed my ticket to the front. No apology, no nothing. Decided that I did not want to waste anymore of my time at this place, and just left. Communication is such a huge part of the hospitality industry, and as someone who's served tables and been on that side of the industry for more than 10 years, I can say that talking to your customers and communicating what is going on usually puts out any fires before they happen. Not in this case. Silence and non-communication was the method of this places customer service. Never coming back and I'd rather spend my money at places that actually care about their customers. read more

Chez Flo came to our private event which was a horse show for mostly kids and their parents. She was awesome! Not only does she have a delightful personality, she was super thoughtful about the planning process. She was game to tweak the menu so it was both kid and adult friendly. Her food was excellent and her service even with long lines was super. We used Chez Flo for our wedding reception a few weeks ago and couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Everyone raved about how wonderful the food was. People say that the bride never gets to eat at her own wedding - NOT THIS BRIDE. I demolished my sandwich and polished off every single parmesan truffle fry. I have been to a dozen or so food trucks and had sworn them off - everything always seems kind of bland and, well... mediocre. But then Chez Flo came to my area tonight and I *really* didn't want to cook dinner so I decided to check them out. And I'm happy I did. I ordered the #1 (roasted chicken crepe) and - telling myself that I would save it till tomorrow - I also ordered the #12 (bratwurst (sausage?) sandwich with Parmesan fries) because it looked so good. Thank goodness my daughters were not with me or I would have been forced to order 101 Nutella crepes as well. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed both the crepe and the sandwich. And the fries. And I ate too much. But I don't regret a thing. The Parmesan fries were addictive and I must admit I ate them first. The chicken on the roasted chicken crepe may have been just a tad dry, but the crepe itself was tasty. The most flavorful of course because of its fatty goodness was the bratwurst sandwich with mustard and a side of Parmesan fries, but that is to be expected because of the fatty goodness. Maybe a bit heavy on the mustard, but if it had bothered me I would have scraped it off, and I didn't. Perspective: I love to cook and am a bit of a foodie, but not quite a snob. If you want to see a beaten-down chef, have dinner at the James Beard house. World-renowned chefs have their a**es handed to them on a regular basis by people who think they can do better, but can't. I have had sushi all over Japan and no sushi restaurant I have been to in the U.S. (including the best in New York) can compete with *the best* sushi I have had in Japan. That said, there are some awesome sushi restaurants in America that I thoroughly enjoy and am happy to go to. Likewise, I have had sausages in Germany and crepes in France. Does Chez Flo measure up? To the best of the best, maybe not, but I highly recommend them nonetheless. They would do themselves a service by paying a little more attention to the the chicken, but being a "tad dry" was not worth taking a star away. Yep, this was absolutely delicious! I had the savory chicken, spinach, artichoke crepe and my friend had the ham, goat cheese, and tomato crepe. Both of us could not stop talking about how good each of our dishes were as we ate! Comes with salad on the side but you can sub for some legit French fries if you'd rather. We can't wait to go back and try some of the sweet crepes, everything looks absolutely amazing. You definitely need to give these awesome ladies a try!! read more
