I've gone to Nazee for over twenty years. She has done my mani and pedi and eyebrow waxing the enire time. I have never gotten a rash, infection or anything else but great work from her. I find Nazee responsible, cooperative, easy to talk to and sanitary. She is always willing to go above and beyond for each customer. So what she answer's the phone, she is self employeed and answered your call to make an appointment. I rarely hear Nazee say no to someone calling for an appointment, she slides you in if she has to. I started going to Nazee about three years ago and during these three years I have moved around the Sacramento area and finally to San Francisco, making it almost impossible to go see her regularly to get my eyebrows waxed. But I still do. Why? Because of what she told me the first time I ever went to her: "I am the best." She is the best. So I initially went to Nazee to get a Brazilian. It was my first time so I was nervous and had the jitters like any first timer would. Nazee made me feel comfortable and always had conversation going to keep my mind off of the pain. She is a very nice lady. She noticed my eyebrows needed some touching up and did them complimentary to my Brazilian. Her eyebrows are beautiful so I was all about it. She touched them up and I let them grow out for the next time I came in several weeks down the road. She kept her word and did another Brazilian wax with a complimentary eye brow wax, which was awesome what college student does not love to save some cash. Several ladies I work with among others I know go to Nazee and I would recommend her to any of my friends. After reading other reviews I will say I never payed attention to the double dipping of the wax. Can that not transfer "coodies" hypothetically speaking to others? I mean I know the wax pot is hot and would kill most of what enters it, but when it comes to hygiene I do not think that is something to mess around with, especially in the fun zone. 4 stars for Nazee's great service, comfort, and always able to accommodate to schedules. 1 star less because of the wax issue. read more

I bought a coupon online for a Brazilian wax for this place. I had waxed before but still, it is never a totally comfortable experience. However, my experience here was so uncomfortable that I felt I should write a review seeing the new Groupon - to save someone else the discomfort. The lady was nice but very curt. She came in the room and asked me to take off my underwear. When I was waiting for her to leave or at least shut the door, she didn't and just said "are you nervous?" Well yeah, if you want me to take my skivvies off while all your other customers are just around the corner of the open door and you're staring at me! I quickly changed my mind to only have a bikini line wax and thank goodness! She was not gentle at all in the waxing process. Again, I have been waxed at other salons and this was like being "ripped". The coupon came with a facial which involved her asking me to go into a bathroom (shared by the dog salon next door) to wash my own face, she applied a product (pretty nice product I admit) during the wax, then asked me to return to the bathroom to wash it off. the second time, I had to wait in a line with the mask on my face until others were done in the toilet. This lady clearly has a set following of customers but if looking for new customers, she may need to soften her approach and improve the "pampering" (and privacy of the experience. read more

Chez Nazee is a really cute and very clean place right off fair oaks so the location is great! This was my first time coming for a wax and I was very nervous! I'm 7 months pregnant and wanted to try waxing since shaving is getting harder. Nazee is the sweetest and makes you feel very comfortable. She does an amazing job and is so thoughtful! Nazee is really nice but I don't think she really knows what she's doing. I went in for a brazillian and in the middle of my brazillian she took a phone call from another client. She double dipped the wand she was using into the wax pot multiple times (I was horrified and didn't even know what to say or do at that point) and she opened and didn't shut the door while I was trying to wipe the wax off of me that she had slapped on. I bought a 3 for thing on groupon but I will not be coming back here again. Ladies beware. I don't trust any place with any kind of waxing that double dips their wands. For those that need a schedule she can be your friend and o know people that schedule out months in advance and are her regulars, but for me, the last-minute is my thing and she is always so accommodating and flexible. NAZEE IS THE BEST! I have been going to Nazee for my eyebrows for 12 years. Six years ago I moved to Elk Grove but I still go to her every 6 weeks. Every time I get my eyebrows done, I walk out amazed by how good they look. I get so many compliments on them and I always tell people to go to her. In the past 12 years, I have tried 3 other people. Only in a pinch because I needed them done and I knew she was out of town. All three people were "highly recomended" and I figured it would be okay to just get them "cleaned up" and each time I was dissapointed. Nazee is the best! I have had brazilian waxes from many different people over the years and she is the only person who truly gets all the hair. I now live 3 hours away and will travel to get to her or schedule an appointment every time I come to town. It's not painless, but she is very quick and SO thorough. She is so good about getting you in and working around your schedule. She is also way more reasonably priced than most. I'd rather not pay more for mood lighting and tranquil music. This isn't necessarily the place for ambiance, but it is certainly the best wax you can get. read more

I had the pleasure of having my hair cut, dyed and styled by Delia Jensen at Chez Nazee on Saturday, 3/1/13. My hair is long and dark but I have a lot of gray on top now and like to keep it up and not allow it to become dull and lifeless. My hairdresser whom I have been going to for 5 years has allowed it to become just that - it looked terrible and it was literally making me feel like an old lady. I was referred to Delia and was told she is an artist and will spend a lot of time with me to make sure I am satisfied. Well satisfied is not exactly how I ended up feeling when I saw how my hair turned out - I felt ecstatic and rejuvenated! My hair looked shiny, with a deep rich color, trimmed in such a beautiful way and then styled like I haven't been styled in forever!!! She consulted with another hairdresser in the Salon, Pam before proceeding, and together they determined which hair color and products, including conditioner would work best on my hair. One week later my hair is still looking incredible, and unlike when my old hairdresser did my hair, the gray around the crown has not started to come back. It looks like the day she colored it for me. I am getting so many compliments now on my hair and I am telling everyone about Delia and the salon. She is a true artist and took time with me, asking me what I wanted and then kept working on my hair like she was painting a portrait, I am not exagerating. I also had my eyebrows waxed by the owner, a darling little lady, named Nazee who first looked at the shape of my face and made suggestions before proceeding. My eyes brows look like they match my new hair style and are shaped perfectly. I feel beautiful after my visit to their salon and I do not intend to go anywhere else for as long as they are in business, I am not kidding. It was well worth the drive out there. going to nazee is like getting your service done by your friend. don't expect anything professional. i went in for a brazilian wax and 60% of our conversation was her complaining about her customers that go online and write bad reviews about her. i wouldn't be surprised if she is complaining about my review to a customer right now! the service was horrible. since i didn't make an appointment i was treated like garbage. since it was my first time i was already nervous enough. her telling me to "hurry! i have customers coming! i don't wanna get behind." made it even more humiliating for me. she even stopped waxing to go attend to other customers that came in. it was kinda awkward when she answered the phone and waxed at the same time, then told the person on the phone she was in the middle of a bikini wax. like really? she would also leave the door open when she left the room, and yes, even tho no one could see it made me feel very awkward.i was there for about an hour and a half. i left humiliated, embarrassed, and like my privacy was invaded. i feel like if you made an appointment your experience with her would be good. but even if you don't she shouldn't treat her customers like that. i personally, am never returning. read more
