I love coming to this nail salon. It's relaxing and the workers always do a good job and want to make sure you leave happy! I usually show some inspo pics and Mandy does a great job to make my nails come out the way I would like. She has explained how different pictures use different techniques, how colors blend to get the look you might like and also that each hand and nail is unique so you can own your own! I usually get compliments every month I change up the look. Plus, if you're wondering after looking at the pics, believe me that these are my real nails with gel/dip. I have a toddler and do garden work a lot so I especially like that Mandy takes the extra effort to make sure my nails remain strong and the polish won't chip as easily. P.S. you're welcome! This review is long overdue--I've been coming to Tobi's Nails for over 4 years now, and I absolutely LOVE getting my pedicures here. I've "cheated" on them twice over the years, only to quickly realize: no one does it like Tobi's! The level of care they put into each pedicure is unmatched. They really take their time--massaging my legs and feet thoroughly--and the gel polish? It lasts me over 2 months every time. No chips, no lifting. Every visit, they offer me water, make sure the massage chair is on and adjusted, and go out of their way to make sure I'm relaxed and comfortable. It's like a mini spa day every time. It's my second time coming to this nail salon and honestly it's such a hidden gem. So far, I've only received pedicures from here but it's probably one of the best places for it! The last time I got a pedicure here, it lasted through me walking on rocks at a beach and not once it has chipped from that trip. The service here is very welcoming and friendly and the perfect spot to get your self care (specially for people who are introverted). I got a full set with Mandy. This is the first time in the many years I've been getting my nails done where I requested the square round shape (which is what I already had) and some of my nails were filed at an angle on the side. I get the square round shape to avoid that because I have very curved nails and if they get filed on an angle on the sides they often become ingrown. Once I realized she had done that and mentioned this to her she tried to correct it by adding acrylic but I knew it would eventually chip off and it did. The paint job was sloppy on some nails (the corner of one had a noticeably thinner amount of paint--even though she did three coats of color it looked like there was one in that part of the nail). There was also quite a bit of acrylic underneath most of my nails. She was very sweet and didn't charge me for the removal of my old nails because it was my birthday and I really appreciated that however due to the issues with my nails I won't be returning. read more

Mandy the owner is super duper sweet & She really takes her time doing your nails. But, I will say she really dug into my toe nail and it really hurt. It's just now healing.. as you can see in the picture where it was cut. Another bummer is that my toe polish on my nail is chipping & it's gel & my nail could have been a little more painted up it grew out so fast. She only has DNC and some other brand I've never heard of. I wish she would have OPI. DNC never stays on my nail. read more

Went to this place for the first time, and it took almost 2 hours to do a fill I am mortified. It was a simple fill with medium size nails, which is actually a lot on the shorter side. All I had done was a gel fill with the nude paint and it almost took two hours to the point where my family was calling me asking me where I was! a girl that came in after me by 30 minutes and left way before me and she had the same thing done!!!!The dude had the audacity to charge me an extra five dollars because he said your nails are too long and on the longer side. I was told my service would be $35 and they charged me more! I will never go here again or recommend this place. No wonder it's always empty. Seriously such a waste of time for such an average mediocre service and I ended up paying more. read more

I made an appointment for a fill & a nail fix because one had broke off after hitting something & I'm not too sure if maybe the original set (not done here) before the fill was just not good or if it was the fill. I didn't have any problems with the nail just falling off before, however. 4 days after my appointment, I went to grab a towel and my thumb nail broke in half (not the base of the nail itself). The nail that was repaired fresh, (the one that had broken), just came clean off as if I had soaked it a few days later. I had chose to go here because I seen they had 5 star reviews, so maybe it was just a bad day.
