First of, I have been getting brazillian waxing before I moved in the Sacramento area. Nazee was such a sweetheart and I feel very bad giving her 2 stars BUT reading through the 1 star reviews from 11 years ago- SHE STILL DOUBLE DIPS. I went in for a brazillian wax, and boy I felt uncomfortable she was double dipping and when I thought she was just over half way through, she was already done! She didn't do any oil or after cleaning, she even said that she can see my skin sensitivity. I have dried wax in different parts of my private and when I got home I have to ask my partner to help me clean because it hurts! Im taking antibiotics right now from my doctor and am still in pain even 4 days after the process! There were a lot of unwaxed hair too (like I said, I know she didn't finish and said she did) She doesn't use hard wax and used a total of 2 cloths and 1 stick through the entire process. No care whatsoever for the client but made sure she was engaging with the client the entire process. A very puzzling experience with this sweet but uncaring and unsanitary lady. read more

So the customer service is great and I really wanted to like this place but I didn't realize until the end that she was double dipping into the wax pot for my Brazilian wax (using the same stick to dip into the pot each time she applied wax. Hovering temperature of a wax pot is 85* and this does not kill bacteria which means any client she had that morning I was exposed to. This makes me really sad because this can interrupt your vaginal health. I had really bad ingrown hairs after the service and ended up going to my pcp just to make sure I didn't contract anything. - I like to add that I am a seasoned Brazilian waxer and have been getting waxed for 9 years read more

I live in Texas but had heard from a friend who lives in Northern California that Chez Nazee was one of the best spots in town. So when my girlfriend took a trip to Sacramento to visit one of her friends, I bought a gift certificate and arranged for her to get a manicure and pedicure. She LOVED every minute she was there. I made my appointment with Pamela for a Sunday at 8:30am which worked out really well for me. She listened to what I wanted, showed her pictures and she worked her magic. This woman killed my vagina!!! I bought a groupon for a Brazilian and boy...do I regret it. First off when I walked into the room I immediately saw that the towel was stained. EWW! So she put a thin layer of paper on top of it (like the ones on top of the beds in a doctor's office) then she just stood there and watched as I stripped. How uncomfortable. Then she told me to lay down and started. She used the same stick and cloth over and over and over again. Double dipping!! How unsanitary! I've gotten brazilians before and no one has ever put me in such uncomfortable positions like Nazee did, knees over my head and what not. I thought maybe she was just being very very thorough. Not the case. After the waxing, another customer came in and she handed me a wipe and rushed out the door, while I was STILL PANTLESS! When I got home I double checked on her work. There were still soo many strands left!! And I guess the wax was too hot or she pulled too hard or something, but she pulled off some skin!! And now there's a painful rash. The only reason I even got the wax was because it was mine and my boyfriend's 4 year anniversary, and now I cant even get any action because it's too painful!! This place is NOT WORTH IT!!! I was so nervous I debated for hours cancelling my appointment. With all the horror stories about how painful it is and what not I was scared to say the least.. I showed up and Nazee got me right in. I am one of those girls who doesnt even feel comfortable with the Dr down there but Nazee actually made the whole thing a breeze. It was not nearly as painful as I thought it was going to be and I am so happy with the results. I was forewarned that it wouldn't be ideal to get any action down there for a few days because things need to "clear up". I had red bumps and looked like a monster for about 4 hours but once the puffiness and redness went away I was smooth as an egg! I really love Nazee. I originally came to her to get my eyebrows waxed in a pinch and I was in the area. I found her to be chatty, friendly, and almost motherly. I asked about the Brazillian because I've been curious since forever, and ended up scheduling one. She managed to make getting your hoohoo waxed as un-awkward as humanly possible. We just chatted the whole time about various topics, including men who indulge in the Brazillian wax. Ouch. And yes, she occasionally answers the phone while waxing you. She is a small business owner, and I completely expect this and am sympathetic to it. I highly support the local community so this doesn't bother me in the least (and it rarely happens.) Those who do care need to unknot their panties and stop being so needy. Just my two cents. Nazee got me in here in a pinch! I called and she was booked but she told me she would call me later in the day if she had any openings. Nazee followed through on her word and got me in that afternoon. I recommend this place to people who are familiar with waxing especially Brazilians. Probably do not come here if it is your first time simply because the setting is so informal and it could feel uncomfortable having someone working on your undercarriage when the place doesn't feel 'clinical'?. However, after having been to some other more formal salons I felt Chez Nazee made me more relaxed. She was VERY detailed with her waxing but check that I felt comfortable the entire time. I thought the wax with strips was way less painful than the hard wax European uses. She left the room for me to change but I did notice she double dips, I don't know much about waxing but this made me a tiny bit uneasy for hygienic purposes. Nazee, is not only skilled, but very sweet and makes you feel SO comfortable. I mean, let's face it... getting a brazilian wax is not necessarily the most comfortable or fun situation to be in. I've been going to Nazee for 7 years. I love that I'm able to schedule an appointment with her and she's always available especially until the late evenings. She is very accomodating. I didn't expect a "spa" type of experience. I want to be in and out. She finishes my waxes in less than 30 minutes. Her prices are very reasonable. For the 1-star reviews, I did my research prior to booking my appointment with Nazee years back. I even called her to ask how she does the Brazilian wax. I don't go blindly to an establishment. I do not normally go here but today where I typically get my eyebrows done the lady was not there, they charge me $8. So i called here got a price quote of 17 dollars i wasn't interested because the price was expensive and the woman I spoke to made me a deal of $10 for my waxing. I jumped on the offer and headed right over. The woman was kind and friendly, was able to get me in right away. I have always been really skeptical of getting my eyebrows done just because I've gone to so many other places that i do not like. She took a little long on shaping and trimming, and i was getting nervous, hoping they wouldn't be to thin. To say the least she did an amazing job, best I've had done ever actually. Nazee is the best! Not only is she very sweet and personable, she is a VERY skilled esthetician. I got waxed by her twice so far and she is the best I've found in the area! The first time I went there she made me feel completely at ease and she even asked me how school was doing and what I want to do with my degrees. I went to see Nazee, the owner of Chez Nazee today (1/7/12), after purchasing a groupon to her store. When I first booked with her I booked a Sat appt at 4:15. I called her at 2pm to see if she could get me in early, and she did! A half hour later I was sitting on her waxing table, nervous as hell. She gave me a piece of gum to distract me and help me get through it. I was expecting war on my nether regions but it was not that way at all. She was very personable and not awkward at all. She made small talk and didnt make me feel uncomfortable at all, and being on a waxing table with no panties in front of a stranger can be very uncomfortable.
