I have to say that this establishment has always had great food. Especially the pasta and pizza. Having said that when Ari and Ivan are working it's just the best. They are so attentive, so pleasant to serve you. Wife and I have been going for years and this review has been long over due. The toppings on the pizza are generous and the clam chowder is fresh and creamy. The blue cheese dressing has chunks of blue cheese unlike many other restaurants.

The family has been enjoying Chi Chi's for over 30-years. They have two locations, this one in Canyon Country, and another one (the Original) in Saugus. I've always gone or done something else when the gang would come here... I never appreciated eating here. That was until last Saturday. First, we don't live here, our home is up north near Seattle. It's a bit of a drive to come here. This last week, vacation time for the blonde girl and I, arrived in Los Angeles with 5 or 6 hours on our hands. The wife rents a car and off we go...lunch at either Bob's Big Boy or on towards Chi Chi's Pizza...Chi Chi's wins. We arrived at 11:05am and they opened for lunch at 11:00am...good timing. We are seated promptly, ordered our drinks...they have a lunch and dinner pasta special...all you can eat, with their original meatless sauce or with meat sauce. Besides the obvious difference between meat and meatless sauce, the original sauce has a distinct yummy flavor. For a couple bucks more, you can add your drink, plus a salad or soup. What a very tasty lunch...so much so that I ordered a second plate. We ordered "springs"...hers meatless and mine with meat sauce. She had a salad with Italian on the side and mozzarella on top, and I had the minestrone soup. Fantastic service and great food. Chi Chi's is not a restaurant chain, they are a family owned and operated small business...they do things right. Of course you know we will be back during our next visit to Southern California...so give them a try. We hope to see you

I've been coming to this location for awhile now and have always had good service and good food, except for last night when we came in to eat for dinner. It wasn't crowded inside, kind of slow night from what we can tell but that might have been because it was after 7pm. We got in and got seated right away in a corner that was tucked away from everyone. However we opted to move ourselves from that table as the hot air from the heater was directed at us, making it a bit uncomfortable. When the waitress came over we told her we switch and she had no issues with it as there wasn't anyone else seated near us in that area of tables. She took down our order and came back with our drinks and some bread. It didn't take long before she came back with our food that was nice and hot, literally are food was steaming. I got the gluten free penne with the pear tomato basil sauce which I haven't gotten before and wanted to try it out as my usual is the pesto. Let's just say there were more tomatoes to pasta ratio on that plate once I started to mix it all together and it was very oily which I didn't like. For almost $18 I would rather have more pasta then a can of tomatoes on my plate.. though now I know I'll just stick with the pesto next time. My mom got alfredo raviolis and my dad had a personal pizza, which they said they really liked. However, the service wasn't great once we got our food. We were all running low on our drinks and the waitress never once came back to ask us how are food was mid eating or if we needed a refill. I think being pushed back in that corner table she literally forgot about us. When we were all done eating, she came over to ask us how the food was tasting and if we needed refills, a little late don't you think? We told her no thanks as we were clearly done eating and asked for the bill and a box for the pizza. She came by dropped it off and then never came back for the check. My mom had to end up walking up front asking for her to take the bill and she noticed she was just chit chatting at a table with other employees. We finally paid and then left, but I guess we know don't come in on a Monday night if you want to get ignored by the staff.

He's around 5'8 5'9 with a mustache I wished I knew his name so I could make a complaint to the corporate! I'm a regular customer but since this happened today I will never order from them again. I finally tried Toppers and I can definitely see why people love it!…read more We ordered the Carnitas Chipotle pizza and WOW... probably one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. The carnitas were super juicy, the flavors all worked so well together, and every slice was honestly so good. We also tried the jalapeño poppers, and those just weren't for us. The menu says they're "slightly sweet," but they were way sweeter than I expected because they're made with dried cranberries and raspberry sauce. The sweetness completely overpowered the jalapeño flavor, so I wasn't a fan at all. The service was really friendly and our food came out fast, which was a nice surprise since it was a bit busy. The restaurant has a ton of indoor seating, so it never felt crowded. It has a really fun and casual atmosphere that makes it a great spot to eat with friends or family. I'd absolutely come back for the pizza. Next time I'm definitely trying another one of their specialty pizzas and maybe some wings!

The dining area wasn't very clean--the tables were sticky, and the salad bar looked neglected and wasn't well maintained. My pizza was also disappointing. It was dry and had only three pieces of pepperoni, making it seem carelessly prepared. I know Toppers is capable of much better because I've had consistently great experiences at their other locations. I hope this location improves its food quality and cleanliness to match the rest of the chain.

However, after spending a full night there hanging out, having fun, I see why she wanted to show me this place. Everything between the vibe, to the food, to the drinks, to the friendly people there; made it an amazing experience from start to finish. The portion size here are huge so we were able to share everything! We got a folded sandwich the turkey hamwich, their TBR burger, spicy turkey n' bacon melt, and their wings Amy's way, and wow. Everything was cooked too perfection, extremely flavorful and it came out very fast. Amazing service. After dinner, we stayed because the DJ was playing absolute bangers!!!!! The bar staff all were so kind and friendly. I never felt more welcome from staff like that before. They have this super cool menu of cocktails that are inspired by the pool balls numbers! I was able to tried them all, and the number 5 ball Whiskey Sour is my personal favorite! A close second is their Break, Run, Repeat cocktail! Definitely give those a try. We got to play both pool and darts. Their tables are in such nice condition, well taking care of and they are all diamond tables. The break room gave me a amazing night out with my friends. I never been to a place like this before. I can't think of one negative thing to say, my visit here was pure fun. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in town, and hoping OC gets a place like this soon.

This is a large,…read morenicely-maintained pool room with assorted other games available (darts and such), a great digital jukebox system, and plenty of TV's playing sports. The decor is "industrial," but it's clean and airy, so there's no sense of being in a "dive" -- in fact, this is a family-friendly place, and I saw some youngish couples playing pool on what seemed to be afternoon dates. The physical bar is relatively small, with only about 8-12 seats, but that's because they're keeping as much space open as possible for game play. The staff was friendly and chatty, and seemed quite intent on making sure everyone had everything they needed. The menu is wider and more interesting than one would expect in a pool hall environment, with creative pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and salads promising a more unique and memorable meal than the average hangout. I opted to try the Pastrami Pizza: a traditional tomato and mozzarella pie topped with what they call "mustard fried pastrami," onions, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of yellow mustard. It's a good-sized pizza, larger than a true individual pie, and enough for 2 people to share. The pastrami was savory without being too salty, while the pickles, onions and mustard all added nice pops of flavor without feeling like a gimmick. My one disappointment was that the pizza was not prepared well-done as requested, making the crust more doughy than crisp. Also, the temperature in the venue was darn near frigid, so my pizza got cold very quickly, which reduced my ability to enjoy it as much as I would have if the pie had been piping hot. Other food being enjoyed in close proximity to me looked and smelled very good (wings and burgers), and like I said, the people were all top notch hosts. So, while the final pizza prep could use some improvement, I think these folks are doing a very good job of making bar food that's more interesting and memorable than you'll find anywhere else in the area. Definitely stop in and give them a whirl.

TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!…read more While plenty of independent and local SCV eateries genuinely value the privilege of serving our community, the local Papa John's franchises miss the mark entirely on both product quality and customer service. An order for a steak and mushroom sandwich was delivered incredibly sparse on toppings--a quality issue corporate customer support later verified. Securing a resolution turned into a three-week ordeal, spanning an initial phone call to the restaurant, a direct email to management, and three separate live chats with corporate agents. With the email left completely unanswered, an in-person store visit became necessary just to get the owner on the phone via an on-duty employee. During the call, the owner doubled down on the error, characterizing the bare sandwich as simply having "light toppings," and flatly refused a refund in favor of a remake. A repetitive email offering that same remake was finally sent shortly after the store encounter. Consider the cost of the order a permanent donation; not another dime will go to either Santa Clarita franchise. Future business will be taken elsewhere.
