Stopped in for Heartbeat.Muzic collab party and had an absolute blast. The food was amazing, the girls were ready to have fun and the signature cocktail was a hit

Am I in NY?

Third time at Society Pizza Lounge and it's grown on me for the quality of the food and drink. Every cocktail I've had here, albeit quite pricey, has been delicious. This time around it was the Society Toasted Rum Cocktail. They really know what they're doing n terms of creating delicious cocktails that are well mixed and balanced. We also got "Mark's Pie" - I mentioned in my original review that the NYC slices they were serving were pretty good but not my favorite in town, but the true star in their pizza game are these unique pie creations. Mark's Pie was a vegetarian feast, quite hearty and with all kinds of unique flavors in it that my wife and I loved. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but no complaints at all about what we got this time. Truly delicious all around.

Im surprised some people dont like this place. We had a great experience. The service was very good and the pizza was so delicious. I've been to NY and tried NY pizza many times. The pizza we had yesterday was so much better, the crust was so crunchy and yummy , we were amazed. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want yo try top notch NY style pizza

I had an amazing time with my niece and her boyfriend and her friend this type of hip place was needed in Newhall and the Santa Clarita area. I will go back many times for the fresh food and great ambience.

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch this past Saturday after the office--I've been promising her we'd finally check it out after seeing all the buzz on Instagram--and it exceeded expectations in every way. The vibe, ambiance, service, and overall quality were all top-tier. Adriana took great care of us and did an awesome job walking us through the menu and drinks. We ordered a salad, a New York-style pepperoni pizza, a Margherita pizza, bottled water, and a mocktail--everything was fresh, made to order, and hit the spot. What really stood out: the design and atmosphere. It's honestly hard to impress my wife when it comes to ambiance, and the first thing she said was how everything was done perfectly--she could already see herself hosting team dinners here. We'll definitely be back, especially to experience it in the evening. Highly recommend.

An interesting concept (considering the water is from New York) giving it an authentic feel, however, I feel like the restaurant is in the midst of an identity crisis. Is it a pizza parlor or a lounge? And a whole pie being 30+ is a bit criminal in this economy. Nevertheless tried the following two pies: Vodka margherita: 6.5/10 - there's nothing margherita about it. Literally vodka pizza with basil. Flavor was there. No tomatoes. No mozz. Crust was good. Undercarriage on the first bite was awful. Everything slides off. The spicy salamino: 5/10. Every topping slides right off when you bite and the roof of my mouth is still burnt from how hot the pie was. Ambiance: not sure what they're trying to present. A lounge, a sports bar? A parlor? Service: very friendly and great. No notes here. Probably won't come back. Giving them the benefit of the doubt as they just opened, but needs a lot of work.

Parking: Downtown Santa Clarita has awesome parking. Free parking garage. I'm a fan of this kind of ambiance. It's very spacious, all the front end chairs are basically high chairs and bars. Standard seating in the back. Went during casual hours and it was busy but not overrun. I'm not sure how it would be like during the later evenings. But it's nice to have something open later than 9 p.m Pizza, got the NY cheese + pepperoni. Delicious, of the nearby surrounding Santa Clarita they have my favorite tasting pepperoni. Price is on the higher end, but it's a decent sized pizza. Only thing I can nitpick is there is no reliable way to flag service down. But that's honestly pulling hairs.

It is so nice to have a place to eat that uses farmers' market ingredients! Their pizza was great with a sour dough crust and fresh toppings. Their salads are made with all organic ingredients. Their cocktails are made with natural sweeteners too. The cannoli was delicious! We will be back! The ambiance is a little bougie, which I loved! Service was great.

Five stars, no question. Society Pizza Lounge in Newhall is the real deal. You walk in and the vibe hits you so hard you start talkin like a real New Yorker even if you grew up in the Valley and your closest tie to Brooklyn is watchin Goodfellas on a Tuesday. The drinks are the kind that sneak up on you too. One minute you're sippin like a gentleman, the next you're makin promises to the bartender you got no business makin. Fuhgeddaboudit!! The pizza is that perfect thin crust New York fold with the right chew and sauce that tastes like someone's nonna is hidin in the back. The salads are simple and fresh. It's the kind of spot where you could have a sit down with a couple made men and nobody would blink. I was so deep in the accent my wife had to slap me a fresh one in the car just to make me stop. Fuhgeddaboudit!!

This place is exactly what Santa Clarita needs. It's a dark mysterious & sexy vibe inside. I couldnt wait to try it! We specifically arrived around 830 to catch the live DJ. I didn't know we needed reservations so we went down the street for a cocktail and came back in an hour. We ordered cool cocktails and 2 pizzas. Everything was delicious as expected. We did ask for honey but was told no which was surprising since they serve it on another pizza. Reading the 1 star comments here on Yelp were funny because it's always the ones who want to modify dishes when the menu clearly states they do not. Just because it's not Burger King & you cant have it your way doesn't constitute a 1 star review. Cant wait to return

Visited on a Friday evening around 5, and it was the perfect time to come. As others have complained that the music is too loud, we were there early, so the music was perfect! We ordered 2 pizzas, The Spicy Salamino and The San Gennaro and they both were amazing! The service was great too, just the right amount. We will definitely be returning.

Half pepperoni Half mushroom

I have eaten here twice in the past two weeks. Once with a few buddies and again with my wife. The eggplant royale is a must. Posting a picture of it but I was in such a hurry to eat it, it doesn't look as pretty as when they brought it to the table. My wife ordered the harvest salad and it was outstanding. Then finally we shared a pizza. It was supposed to be pepperoni with half mushroom but it came out half pepperoni half mushroom instead. Not a huge deal. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. $100 bucks for 2 including tip (with no alcohol) is a little steep but we will be back.

Looking at the pics, it looks like the dress code applies only to women and not to all those men wearing tshirts & baseball caps?

Do they offer Gluten free options for their pizza?

Yes, but the last time I went they sold out and their delivery date was 2 days out .I'd call first to be safe

Which she said yes by the way It was casual but still a great atmosphere, drinks are great! My matron of honor and I had the raspberry mojitos while my fiancé and her husband didn't drink because well, they aren't much drinkers and they were driving, haha! I had the chicken, my fiancé had the apple pork or something? I can't remember the exact names because the night went in a blur. We were there for over two hours. Then my matron of honor had the fish and chips and her husband the burger with fries. They loved their food too. Everything was delicious and our server was very sweet and attentive. Will be back again!

We recently had a death in our family which led us to look for a restaurant away from the city. In…read moredoing some research we came to find that Newhall had a few new restaurants, based on the reviews and the pictures we traveled there to the Newhall Refinery. The street front seating and building architecture is very appealing and welcoming. As you enter the main doors, you are greeting by friendly staff. We were offered any open seating, we decided to take a table against the back wall that was adjacent to the entry. The decor inside is very rustic with a touch of micro brewery, the ceiling has many tap handles that adorn the ceiling. The menu and food, we were initially drawn into the Refinery since they seem to be the only spot that offered Brunch and Mimosas in the downtown street. Key point of clarification, the Mimosas are simi bottomless (you have 90 min) to pour down, some of us really like Mimosas, plus the price was just slightly higher that we typically expect at 27, per person. Were they good, yes, so we decided to go with one Mimosa and an Old Fashion drink, it was very well done, Buffalo Trace Bourbon. We ordered from the Brunch menu, the Steak and Eggs, cooked to your liking, they did a great job on both, the one item that we were less impressed with were the overcooked Oreda looking potatoes that accompanied the meals. We also ordered the Cacio e Pepe Beni, Prosciutto, perfect poached eggs and all of the other fixings, it was great testing and the presentation was amazing. As far as my overall rating I could not give it a 5 star due to what other customers have shared in their reviews, the wait staff is not timely, almost forced friendly and possibly just lacking some restaurant experience, they did not come around or notice things like empty water glasses and a few other things, could have been understaffed possibly on this day. Overall I would still recommend the Refinery due to the location, atmosphere, drinks and main dish prep. Thank you for providing a break from reality during a very trying time in our family.

From the moment we sat down, the staff was attentive without hovering, quick to accommodate, and genuinely welcoming. The food is top notch, beautifully prepared and absolutely worth treating yourself. If you've got a little extra to spend on a date or a good friend, this is the place to do it. A special thank you to Danielle, our waitress, who was kind, courteous, and never rushed us. Lovely spot for drinks and dinner in Santa Clarita…read more I was in the area running errands and decided to grab dinner nearby on a Thusday evening around 6:30 pm. I found this place on Yelp and dropped by for dinner. My party of 2 was seated immediately. Personally I thought the menus were hard to read. The gray lines in the background were quite dark and clashed with the actual menu items. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to reprint the menus with lighter background. They have an extensive cocktail menu with a lot of gin-based drinks. They also have good selection of wine and NA drinks as well, including some mocktails. I got the I'm Driving mocktail ($13), which I really liked. It had good passion fruit flavor without being too sour. Felt like a really nice tropical juice. My friend really liked his drink Bramblin' Man ($17), which had strong notes of bourbon and blackberry. I wasn't super hungry, but the braised short rib looked amazing so I got that for $43. It was very tender, but I personally found it bland especially on the inside. I asked for additional sauce so I could drench each bite in the sauce. My favorite part of the plate was surprisingly the potato croquette, which was perfectly crispy and well flavored. My friend got the chicken club ($23), which he enjoyed. I stole a bunch of his seasoned fries since they were so good. I would've loved to get dessert but was too stuffed. Next time!

They have a nice interior build-out with a huge wine bar, but it was a nice evening and we elected to sit on their spacious patio. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Sarah, who is the bartender and also manages a couple of nights a week for the owner. Sarah is super friendly, explained the menu and provided great table service. They have a large wine selection. My wife ordered a chardonnay and I stuck with an Arnold Palmer. We ordered their bruschetta appetizer, served as six pieces of toasted bread and the expected toppings. It was a perfect start to our meal. We were not super hungry, and selected a three-cheese charcuterie board. You are able to select your cheeses, and Sarah again helped us make our decision. It was perfect for a summer-weather afternoon (although in March) and we chatted, had our drinks and picked at the board until it was gone. During our meal, Sarah was very attentive to our needs. My wife tried another chard, and we ordered their banana dessert, which had great flavor and was a nice end to the meal. This is a great place to quietly enjoy some wine, beer and food. They have a good sized menu and offer a brunch menu on Sundays. (Diane, Sarah needs a bonus, she made the evening much fun).

You probably wouldn't think of one in Valencia, would you. Well, I have been to all of the above and I am telling you, you would be missing out on a one of a kind, out of this world experience that can be had any day of the week at Kindred Spirits, adjacent to the Hyatt Regency. No, I didn't expect it to come anywhere close to the stratospheric experiences you could have were you to choose any wine bar you fancied, but, the minute I got inside, I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience that I will want to repeat. First of all, it's downright beautiful. Flawlessly decorated with a chic living room vibe with just the right elements to suggest a curated museum-level sensibility. See my pictures as well as all the others here on Yelp. I spent the entire time noticing little details like the plush velvet banquet, the clubby wing back arm chairs, the art deco artefacts and furnishings, paintings, sculptures, even the ceiling lights were unique and obviously carefully selected. And then there is the stupefying wine and spirits menu that goes on and on. I rarely drink anything alcoholic but I couldn't pass up a taste of one of the exquisite sparkling wines that caught my eye. There is a full range of everything. If you really must have beer, it's there, but! For heaven's sake, try something elevated -- ask for recommendations. You won't be disappointed. However, the star of the entire experience is the menu. Now, remember, I am a lifelong vegetarian. I had fun limiting myself to four choices -- I could have had more were I not on a perpetual diet. You can see what we ordered in my photographs. Each dish was superb, really, first in class. Nonetheless, take a good look at my photographs of the Autumn Apple Tarte -- it is the g.o.a.t., believe me. Not only did it taste celestial but notice the tiny flowers? The chef, Priscilla, is a highly skilled and trained artist, her medium just happens to be delicately flavored and arranged plates of heaven. And Sarah, our attendant took a concierge approach to caring for us. A cosmopolitan playlist provided a lyrical backdrop that just made everything flow like silk. Parking is easy, simply use the Hyatt Convention Center parking lot adjacent to a verdant golf course or their garage, for free. There are two main rooms and we asked for the "lobby"-like large room with a giant table that we had all to ourselves, given we were there in the late afternoon on a Sunday. Even so, clientele were coming and going. It was the golden hour and we were draped in a warm light and cozy but uplifting spirit. The entire experience was flawless. And the tab? Ridiculously reasonable. You may not be headed to Rodeo or Saint-Germain-des-Prés or West 27th street any time soon. So, instead, treat yourself to this epic wine bar. You will thank me, when you do.
