I had the cheese pizza, a cheese with jalapeños, pepperoni, mushroom, and olives, and cheesesteak sandwich. Everything was yummy and it came out quickly. I chatted with Milton and the owner Brian while I waited for my order. Milton said he had been making pizza for 20+ years. He told me the dough is never frozen and the ingredients are not cut with fillers like other pizza chains. The owner was also friendly and greeted everyone as they came in. The place is clean and orderly. They have an assortment of drinks at the front. There are a couple tables and chairs to sit while you wait for your order or dine in. With the email left completely unanswered, an in-person store visit became necessary just to get the owner on the phone via an on-duty employee. During the call, the owner doubled down on the error, characterizing the bare sandwich as simply having "light toppings," and flatly refused a refund in favor of a remake. A repetitive email offering that same remake was finally sent shortly after the store encounter. This Papa John's is one of the last big name pizza places in the area that still tastes good. Things to try are their new wing flavors and the AWESOMELY EXPANDED INEXPENSIVE DESSERTS. Since this is a pizza place this fly under the radar and start at like $5. There are a lot of deals and perks with PJ, so I recommend getting their app, as papa dough(their gift certificate cash) is handed out liberally sometimes, so always check under "deals." Bland pizza at best, terrible quality. Ordered delivery & was very disappointed with the food I received. The pizza had zero flavor & didn't taste cooked all the way. I could also barely see the toppings I ordered as they barely put any on. To top it off, they gave me an old dried out pepper to go with the pizza which served zero purpose as it had no juice. The pizza here aren't the cheapest so I would expect better. I also was not happy with the service as they now partner with DoorDash so I had a DoorDash driver deliver my food which came with its own problem. The driver could be seen just sitting in a random parking lot not even trying to deliver my food, they waited until the last minute to give me my food making it take almost a hour! This is one of the main reasons why I hate using DoorDash because they often do this which is why it's frustrating that papa John's is now using DoorDash to deliver its food. First "1 Star" review in almost nine years with Yelp. I wish I had noticed that the Papa John's app does not have a place where you can contact them to file a complaint. I would've realized before ordering that it would be a big mistake. I've been waiting for my pizza for an hour and a half, and after tracking the order the entire time I refreshed the tracking only to discover that the DoorDash deliver took a picture of my front door condo and then left with the pizza. I've had my phone on me the entire time and have received no call from anybody. It's now well past the time when any other restaurant would be open for me to order food and I've been charged $60 for absolutely nothing. To add on to that there's no way of contacting the DoorDash driver, which I could've salvaged the order but I have no contact for them and conveniently the Papa John's location is closed five minutes after the so-called delivery driver came to my door. I highly doubt all the workers left five minutes after it closed and I'm sure they're listening to the phone ringing and not giving a crap that someone didn't get their order. If I don't get my money back, I promise you, I will go on an all out campaign to end your business by exercising my right to protest in front of your store . But none of this does me any good right now at one in the morning when I need my food and your DoorDash driver is probably happily eating the pizza with his family. This is our go to spot when my wife and I don't feel like cooking. The pizza is always ready quick and it's consistently good. When we place our order online it's ready by the time we walk in. Staff is friendly. I genuinely prefer this pizza over other local more expensive places. They always have deals that make it ideal when trying to keep a budget. It is March 24, 2024, 4:00 order. I needed our order to be a delivery, since we have guests - but I missed the option to chose between carry out and delivery. Honestly, I didn't see the options upon check out. I called Papa John's IMMEDIATELY after the order was made, and each call went to a recording each time. I called 10 x, and by now I am sure the pizzas were ready for pick up. On ONE of the calls, there was a pick up, and a quick hang up. Wow what a HORRIBLE service this place is! On Christmas Day I placed an online order around 8pm and once my transaction went through it stated that it will take 130 minutes to get the pizza ready. I honestly wish that information was there BEFORE taking my money. I tried calling multiple times to cancel my order and nobody was answering the phone. It was nearly 11pm and the app here on Google said the store would be closing at 11pm. My online order still stated that the pizza was in the 1st step in the making and will still take 130 minutes. Once 12:30am hit , it showed the pizza was picked up already. I was so confused and I called and again nobody picked up. I called the next day and asked for a refund since I tried cancelling and nobody was picking up. The staff stated only the manager can give out refunds and they will call me back. I never received a call in return. I decided to call the papa johns customer service and they also stated they could not give out refunds and only the store manager could. Yesterday 12/27 I called and asked for a refund. Same story. Only the manager can give out refunds and he will call me. He never called. I called AGAIN and sure enough the manager was there. (Tony). I have to start off by saying I have always ordered from this papa johns for about 8 years now. I'm still waiting for a so called general manager to call me or email me after a month of speaking to them on the phone about my issue with my order and what I saw while waiting on my pizza to be cooked. Employee making the pizza wears no gloves when putting cheese and toppings onto the pizza. He constantly re adjusted his face mask and then reaches into the cheese and toppings to continue to make pizzas. I picked up my pizza to avoid delivery fee since I was close by. Older man working took my order over the phone. When I got home wrong toppings were on my pizza and they substituted the garlic butter with mustard on both pizzas. When I called I was accused of giving him the wrong toppings over the phone instead of him taking responsibility for giving me the wrong toppings. He then rudely said I repeated the order to you and can replay the conversation if you want. I asked him to since I know I always order the same toppings on my pizza. He paused and said ok I will work with you pay me a delivery fee and I'll bring you the correct pizza. I had to pay a delivery fee to get a pizza he messed up on when I picked up my order to avoid the fee I'm also going to add in that when I called back I was asked by the rude girl employee what my call was about when i told her he had gotten my order wrong she said I'll go look for him. Haven't ordered from Papa Johns in years, didn't align with my politics. But when I saw them serving NY style pizzas, a gave them another shot. Unfortunately, my NY style pizza was cross cut. I wanted the experience of NY style pizza. I spent more money than I wanted for that pizza thinking I was gonna get big NY slices. But the experience totally changes when it's square cuts. Doesn't taste or look the same. When I called the store I was basically told good luck on the next order. You should of rectified my order by making me a fresh pizza and cutting the way it's supposed to. I just wish I would have checked the reviews to this store before I ordered, the review average of 1.5 stars is about right after what I experienced with this store. And I will be writing a complaint letter to headquarters for not remaking my pizza like you should have to make the situation better. I'm only Sorry I can't give them a-negative 5. After calling THEIR dedicated phone number, I ordered two pizzas and a 2 liter Orange Crush. I also asked for plates, napkins and cups because we were working and had nothing to eat with, or drink from. Instead of having their employee deliver, they contract with Doordash. He showed up with pizzas and drinks only. Not even the receipt! I tipped him with cash because there was no receipt to include the tip AND nothing to show the delivery charge. When I went into the shop for the receipt, I told him what happened, and he basically laughed and refused to take responsibility for not telling me Doordash would be delivering. This is fraud and there's several class action suits pending for just this reason. When the tracker still showed that the pizza hadn't left for delivery 45 mins after ordering, I tried calling the store to check in. After waiting on hold for 20 mins, decided to drive down to the store to pick up the order- assuming it was likely a delivery driver issue. When I got there, now 45 mins after the committed delivery time, one of the two guys at the store just said they were running behind and couldn't tell me when my pizza would be ready. I had recently ordered two extra large pizzas and one order of chicken wings for delivery. I had already made the payment over the phone when they took my order. When the delivery arrived the chicken wings were not delivered.I spoke with the delivery driver who told me to call Door dash or Papa John. I tried to contact papa John but to no avail. I ended up having to drive down there to talk to someone about getting a refund or replace the wings . This guy accused me of trying to get another order of wings for free, he told me that I was lying. If not than the door dash delivery person ate the wings.
