Chi is awesome. If you sit on their balcony, you have a great view of the water. The menu is insane. Word on the street is that this place is popular with cruise ship workers, and rightfully so-they offer cuisine from all over the globe. There's Indian, Indonesian, Filipino, Japanese, and several pages of Chinese dishes, plus desserts and a large selection of cocktails and other beverages. The staff was very attentive, the prices were not too bad, and the food and drinks were delicious. If you're in the mood for a non-Mexican meal during your time in Cozumel, I highly recommend Chi.

Amazing Indonesian food. We had Nasi with pork and Satay. Was so tasty and wish we had more of this in the United States.

Service was great and the food was delicious! We came here based off of a recommendation from one of the server from our cruise. They did not disappoint. I had the Matabong Chicken. I was unaware that it was sever family style, so I think I ordered too much but it was still worth and very tasty. I would totally return.

Delicious food!!! Bigger servings than expected, but the food was great! Our server, Israel, was super awesome! Great view out the windows and lots of space to eat.

Authentic Chinese cuisine. Other Asian cuisines were available. We tried the Chinese dishes and they were delicious. The restaurant is located on the second floor and the stairs are on the street at the side. Service was great and prices bare reasonable. Highly recommended if you are in the mood for Chinese food.

Monthly special: Sichuan crab. Sooooo good.

I wish I could give this restaurant a higher rating, but the food was genuinely not great and…read moreexpensive. My husband and I came here since we wanted a reprieve from Mexican food and was pretty disappointed in our meal here. We got the Cumin Beef and Seafood and Beef Hot Pot. Cumin Beef - This was not bad, there was just not a lot of beef. One of the servers told us each dish was meant for 2-3 people, and it's not even meant for one. The flavor was pretty good, but it was pretty salty. Crazy that it didn't come with rice for the cost. Seafood and Beef Hot Pot - Literally had no flavor to the broth and barely any seafood or meat. It tasted like all the ingredients were just boiled in water. There were probably 3 shrimps, 4 small pieces of beef, and 3 oysters. Overall, they overcharged us for a meh meal. Don't come here.

Had dinner here one night in December 2025 during Christmas week. The service was good, the waiter…read moreand the staff were warm and welcoming and very attentive. The food was OK for both portion size and flavor, it wasn't bad but it wasn't really good, I went in with very open mind. It's Asian food in Cancún.. my husband got the beef noodle dish which was 75% onion, 20% noodle and 5% beef 5/10 . Mine was Salt pepper shrimp 10/10 flavor and texture. Chicken curry was OK it was son's order and it gave him a sour stomach after. Veggie noodles and green beans for table were serviceable 5/10. All the dishes were over loaded with massive amounts of dry red chili what looked to be Szechuan pepper corn, it was about 4 x what I've ever seen or tasted before ever. This is my absolute favorite style of Chinese food, I will get it anywhere that I find it when traveling or being in a new area and this was probably the least palatable version that I have had with the exception of the salt and pepper shrimp, that was actually pretty spot on and tasty. What I didn't like was the entire receipt was in Asian language and you had like 2 seconds to scan over it while waiter just waited and watched, he was not rude in any way just kinda ansy about it.. you could feel the pressure to get it done.. additionally asking about the tip that's was automatically added was a little bit awkward, it was in another language and I only saw it because I put it in Google Translate. We are always going to tip and will tip more if the service and food are even kinda good, the auto tip being snuck in was a bit of a damper. Last thing my stomach got a little jacked up from the overload of dried chili and peppercorn, I ate Mexican food all week and everything on 10 spice level and never had a problem anywhere. Honestly I'd probably do it again, if I was in the area I'd get the shrimp again but make sure I wasn't having anything else happening that night or the morning due to the.. gastrointestinal issues, not serious but definitely significant. If you're craving Chinese this is a serviceable option in the area

It is best if you make a reservation ahead of time. Their selection of cocktails included some exclusive to this restaurant and sounded delicious and a nice combination of Asian flavors with local fruits. I went with the Kioto that was a great blend of aged rum, passion fruit puree, tamarind water, iced tea and simple syrup. My mom loved her fish dinner. I very much enjoyed my tiraditos and sashimi. We wrapped up our dinner with ginger ice cream. Service was excellent and food arrived promptly. I wish I've known ahead which days they were closed as they rotate restaurants. We tried going our last night for other dishes and they were closed for the night.

We did not need reservations and were seated quickly upstairs. They were not strict about the dress code, which was appreciated. I tried several appetizers including the tuna tartare, Thai lettuce tacos, and spring rolls. Everything was well done and small portions . I was also very pleased that they had lychee martinis, which were a great touch.

I thought it was kind of a pleasant surprise and bizarre to find a Chinese restaurant around! I'm giving this place five stars for various reasons. 1. The staff- super friendly and welcoming. The two men helping us made our experience super pleasant. They asked if everything was okay at the right moments and were there to refill our waters before even thinking about refilling them ourselves (we got bottled water). Food came out right on time and even were nice enough to give us the WiFi password ;) 2. Ambience- Hey I've been to plenty of "fine dining" Chinese restaurants back home in SF but not many were as fancy and clean as this one was. The silverware and plates were even fancy. (Wish I took pics of them) 3. Food- At first I wasn't expecting much for quality or authenticity because it's such a touristy area. It looked like it was ran by Chinese owners though, I saw one of them there. I got to eat their fried rice, soy sauce noodles w/ beef and fried chicken with chili. Everything was better than expected and yummy. Me and my bf were super happy we came here for lunch. Definitely don't regret coming here.
