I was excited to visit this place and had nothing but positive recommendation for brow tinting and treading from a friend. I tried to keep a positive attitude but wasn't able. Positives: nice salon, clean, organic products, brow shape turned out great. Negatives outweighed the positives. I am a natural blond with blond brows, and dye my brows brown for more definition. After showing a picture of my brows in the past, the technician didn't agree with the color and was resistant to giving me what I wanted and gave a lot of push back. Then while taking the color off, the color was wiped into my scalp line. When I noticed, the technician was unable to get it out of my hair, and now it's stained with a strip of dark brown. My experience with them was horrible! The front desk lady was eating her lunch ( so rude) and never offered me any drinks while I was waiting. Rihanna did my lash lifting/tint and did not see any difference especially with the price I paid for! She was on her while waiting for my perm to dry up, it's not even on silent! I also had my eyebrows threaded which she did for 5 minutes, she did not bother to pluck those tiny hairs that couldn't be threaded! The price for eyebrows threading was overly priced and the service was disappointing! I drove hours to check this place out, and everything was bad. They have poor customer service, poor sanitation ( she never washed her hands nor sanitized them especially the fact the she touches my eyes. Remind you this would cause eye infection) and poor skills! read more

This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded and I was super nervous about it. I alway plucked my own but I could never get them even so I decided to try. I was really scared that they would thin my eyebrows too much so I specified that I wanted them thick. Theresa did a really great job. I love the shape and that it's not too thin. I just got finished with a brow threading appointment with Theresa. This was my first time at Chic and with Theresa. I am soooooo happy with my new brows. Because my brows were not the correct shape due to my previous brow person, it will probably take several more appointments until they look just right. I was super impressed with my experience and service at CLB! The technician was thorough and was set on making sure I got the full set I wanted as far as length, thickness and design. Im mot sure how well it holds YET(i just got my lashes done a few daus ago) but I love love love the adhesive/glue they use! It's sounds like such a small nonsignificant detail but for the first time (as long as I have been wearing false lashes) I really feel like my lashes are natural. I don't feel the glue at all! Usually it drys rock hard and is harsh and irritating and to me that is what causes the most discomfort with wearing false lashes. I was very happy with the work she did on my lashes. She got them pretty EXACTLY how I wanted them (which was never achieved in my past experiences at other places). The place is very cute and comfortable also. read more

I'm so extremely disappointed in this place. I came in with thick beautiful eyebrows that were a tiny bit uneven because I hadn't had them done professionally in about a year. After asking for my eyebrows to be more symmetrical I walked out with the thinnest eyebrows I have ever had and I am almost embarrassed of them. When I fill them in now I look very clownish and am almost to the point of wanting to cry. Definitely never going to return to this place. Worst threading job I've ever had read more

This is the first time I've ever written a Yelp review and I'm only doing it now because I truly was that impressed by the service I received here. I was in desperate need to get my eyebrows threaded and the person I usually go to wasn't available, so I decided to give Chic Lash a try, since it got such good reviews. I made an appt online and I got a call from Jen, the owner, saying that she had closed early for Memorial Day weekend and the online reservation system hadn't taken that into account-BUT she came back in and opened the place up just to do my threading. The customer service was top notch, the owner couldn't have been nicer, the place was super cute, she did a fantastic job on my eyebrows, it's very reasonably priced, and they even don't accept tips! I came here to get my eyebrows threaded and booked online the last appointment slot for the day (the only time I can make given my job). The woman who did my brows (wish I remembered her name) put very little time and effort into it. She seemed ready to leave for the day. It was not a great job. She left extraneous hairs and did not do any shaping at all. It was very pricey for the quality. Only upside is the location, as I can walk here from my home. I literally just left from this boutique! This is my first time coming since my regular lady was not available and needed to get my eyebrows done and if I liked it I would continue to come here since it's closer and cheaper. I got there early because I was in the area so I knew I would have to wait BUT I was not seen until 10-15 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment, what's the point of an appointment. I finally get called and the threading chair is on the side of the reception area there's no privacy. It's just odd. Ok fine whatever. Arti asked how I wanted my eyebrows and I said to only clean them. She asked if I wanted her to trim the front part of the eyebrows and I said sure. Since I was in a hurry so I payed and left. I get in my car and start noticing that she didn't clean them properly not only that they are thinner than what they were originally! There's random hairs at the top of my eyebrows and hairs sticking. I don't even know what she trimmed because the front of my eyebrow are still long still! Unfortunately I had already left her a tip. My eyebrows aren't defined. I hope they grown back by the time I go back to my original lady Jackie+ eyebrows. read more

After having tried another lash extension chain in town, I decided the experience may be better at an independent boutique and I'm so glad I decided to give CLB a try. I have been going for about 13 months now and have had my lashes done by Danielle, Jordan and Katy...they are all Awesome! They listen to what you want and will customize using different lengths to get the look that is most flattering for you. I've had both my lashes and brow extensions done by Danielle and can't say enough good things about her work and attention to detail. The boutique is not only adorable, it's very clean and the beds are extremely comfy. If you love lash naps.. you will love their beds. I went to Chic Lash Boutique to get my eyebrows threaded. My eyebrows are thick and they grow back really quickly. Also, they aren't anywhere near symmetrical. Jennifer took her time talking with me about how I wanted them to look. She recommended a more natural look as opposed to the way I usually get them done. I wasn't sure about this, since it was a different way, but I decided to give the idea a chance. She worked on them and showed me how they were progressing as she went along. Her manner was professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable having her thread my eyebrows. I was very happy with the results. I will be back to get my eyebrows done by Jennifer again! Went to get a full set of lashes put on which isnt cheap (No GroupOn here). Unforunately both times I went I had to come back to have my lashes fixed. The owner is extremely nice by offering to fix everything for free but when it takes 2.5hrs to apply lashes, the last thing you want to is be dissatified the first time and have to come back the next day to get it all fixed for another 2.5hrs. In addition, the technicians dont seem to try to understand what the client wants. They need to re-evaluate how the engage with a customer. read more

Beautiful lashes in less than an hour! I've had eyelash extensions for over a year now, and Chic Lash Boutique is the best! Very convenient location, easy scheduling, comfortable and cute. I'm very low maintenance when it comes to makeup, and with my extensions I wake up ready to go. It makes life so easy. And while I'm spending money on the lashes, I haven't bought a tube of mascara (nor have I worn any) since I've had the extensions. If you'd like to try lash extensions, and you're looking for a place, look no further. Katie is the best! She's so talented at what she does. She has the right touch to make my lashes look full, but never over done. I previously went to a different spa, and the glue was so heavy that I felt like it was damaging my eyes. I'm asian so I have really thin and sparse eyelashes. This is my first time getting lash extensions and I LOVE them, I'm so addicted and don't know how I ever lived without them. My stylist was very nice, and consulted with me on what I wanted exactly. My lashes now look long, thick, and curled but natural. Now I don't have to worry about curling them and spending 10 minutes coating on mascara. I have been getting so many compliments! The botique is gorgeously designed and is very relaxing with soft music playing and comfortable beds with blankets! They have great customer service, very attentive and prompt. So I stopped in this joint because I needed help with my overly groomed eyebrows. I have never done waxing but I started threading about a year ago and I really like it except they started threading them too thin. I went in here explaining and Jennifer (I think) was very nice and allowed me to walk-in and sit down for a mini consult and even cleaned them up for me. She didn't do much because she wanted me to grow them in so she could see my natural shape which I did and returned. I like that she actually listened and asked questions about what I wanted, which is not what my last place would do. They just sit you down and thread away never consulting you on the look you're going for. I'm happy I found a new eyebrow place around the corner from me that I can trust. They are pricier than I would want to pay because I only paid $7 at the last place, buuuut it's a world of difference. The location and service is everything so even if I have to pay more than double what I was paying for at least it is close and convenient. Can't beat that. read more

I went to Arti and the new location, and she was incredibly helpful. She consulted with me and recommended I use a serum to grow my eyebrows. I got my eyebrows threaded by Arti and was very pleased! She asked me if I just wanted a touch up and I agreed. She was VERY quick! I was so surprised.
